Denial: The Packers could not have won. We are still in the running.

Anger: Why us? How could this happen to Chicago?

Bargaining: Just let us play five more minutes and we will never make another cheesehead joke.

Depression: Why go on if the Packers go to Dallas?

Acceptance: It’s going to be okay. After all, they still have to go back and live in Green Bay.

    Thanks for reminding me I’ve got my Royals sucking yet again to look forward to. Losing Zack Greinke was simply inexcusable. I’m getting to the point that I’m seriously considering adopting another team.

  16. I know its probably a little to early to say that the Steelers…look to be beating the Jets…..

    I don’t bet on Basketball….I stick with what I know….maybe you could refine your skills and make predictions on Basketball…Hockey…the other sports…they are sports aren’t they?

  19. When I lived in Sturgeon Bay during grade school high school, we would sometimes be in the downtown area as people were heading back to Chicago from a Door County Vacation. How did we know that? Flatlander license plates.

    We thought how fortunate we were to live where people who lived in Chicago came when they wanted to be in a better place. But pride may have its comeuppance.

    I ended up going to Chicago for my engineering education, lived there for nearly 35 years as one of those city-type fools we pitied back around 1950.

    Yet justice, out of court, may be possible. My family came back here.

    Yeah… I understand. It is reasonable to make fun of those who happen to be better off than oneself.

    The real victory for the Packers will be when they get back home.

    Envy along with gluttony and some other things is on a list of?

    Living in Chicago for most of 35 years was my comeuppance.

    So there! Oops. Pride is on that list, also.
