Dr. Wendy Walsh has added to the increasing claims against atheists from their taking over the country in league with Islamic radicals (Gingrich) or destroying the world (various political and religious leaders). Dr. Walsh has told the nation on CNN that “studies” show atheists always die first in survival situations.
Here is Dr. Walsh on atheists:
“…it doesn’t mean that science has the answers for everything… Most studies on survivors show that atheists die first. Because if you don’t believe in something super-natural, how can you imagine that you yourself have supernatural abilities enough to survive?”
Hmmm. Wouldn’t the atheist cling on longer since they have nothing to look forward to?
By the way, who are doing these studies and how many atheists and religious people have died as part of their dark clinical programs?
Of course, a few more such interviews by Dr. Walsh and I will personally welcome death.
I want to see a study on the survival rate of religeous fanatics, and their children, as opposed to atheists, when the question arises of whether to reject state of the art medical treatment.
e.g. Atheist kid with luekemia who’s parents allow him to get kemo vs. God-fearing Christian Scientist kid with luekemia who’s parants won’t take him to the docter.
Why isn’t some one around to shove those stats up Dr. Walshe’s ass.
Oh, I’ve got blood gushing put of my frickin’ head let’s not call 911 let’s pray on it. Good frickin’ grief. Hop on the bus retards let’s go back to the stone age!!!

rafflaw,
We could always test Dr. Wendy in a maze. Do you think she’d be able to find her way out?

That all depends … is there cheese at the end of the rainbow?
Elaine M,
“I think Dr. Wendy provides us with a perfect example of a human with a mouse brain.
Whaddyah think?”

Lol – Why, I do believe you’re on to something … we now have two confirmed cases … the one who’s not a witch and the one who’s a quack!
AY, I am talking legally not just polite company. I was part of a commission in Hong Kong that had a big blow up about this during the change over to mainland control. If I write a book as a chiropractor and say authored by Dr. Big Mouth, I would have to put the DC suffix behind it or suffer the squeeze of the California licensing board. Now if I were a PHd in automotive repair there would not be the requirement. The subject matter is immaterial in this case. Now to further add insult, the psychologist can use the DR without further defining, practice on humans, when their PHd study was the sex habits of mice. Our good buddy Dr. Laura’s doctoral thesis was on the effects of insulin in laboratory rats. Anyone can get a internet PHD and legally call themselves DR as long as they do not do anything that requires a license. A recent scandal at the California air quality board comes to mind. (Hien Tran, PHd) To put this all in context to this blog, this vapid talking head should not be taken seriously.
rafflaw,

😉
Elaine,
I am not sure you are right. That would be an insult to mice everywhere! 🙂

How can any TV network put this kind of crap on without some response from a Sane person?! Atheists die first. What a bunch of crap. You are right Prof. Turley. She may be the leading cause of suicide among sane people.
catch22oy,
LOL!
I’m actually a survivalist, you know. I survived twelve years of strict parochial school education in the 1950s and early 1960s. Now I’m an agnostic. I wonder what Dr. Wendy has to say about agnostics? That they survive longer than atheists but not as long as true believers in survival situations???
Elaine M: I believe the “survivalist” situation she is referring to one in which an atheist mistakenly signs up for a whitewater rafting trip with a busload of Jehovah Witnesses.
Actually Mb,
It is also only proper to call a person schooled in the psychological/psychiatric arts Dr to be distinguished from medical Doctors…..such as Dr. Marcus Welby, M.D…. its a badge of honor…
Why is it anyone with a PHd can call themself a DR when in most states only Allopaths (MD) and osteopaths (DO) can do it without putting a suffix ( DDS, ND, DC ) afterward. The rule was promoted so as not to confuse someone that they are talking to a medical doctor. Someone may confuse this empty cranium with someone that knows something.
re: “CNN is quickly becoming FOX light with contributors like Erick Erickson, Breitbarter Dana Loesch…and Dr. Wendy.”
Glen Beck was on CNN before Fox. CNN is not FOX-lite, it is the FOX farm league.
I would love to get a handle on the studies the good doctor is referring to …
I think I know whose brain was found in the English peat …
Wendy Walsh, D.N. (Doctor of Nonsense)
“If you don’t believe in the Boogie Man, how can you keep yourself from falling asleep every night?”
“If you don’t believe in nonsense, how can you ever hope to become stupid?”
CNN is quickly becoming FOX light with contributors like Erick Erickson, Breitbarter Dana Loesch…and Dr. Wendy.
What “survival situations” is Dr. Wendy talking about?
This is incompatible…with other similar situate studies…
Why do men die first….because they want to….
What is hell 20 women and one finger nail file….
Yah, that was a good funny, Prof.
Of course, a few more such interviews by Dr. Walsh and I will personally welcome death..
ROFLOL……
Not that her comment wasn’t stupid, but doesn’t this run parallel to the reason why doctors lie to their patients about the amount of hope in a dire situation?
To get them to hang on?
