Faith-Based Polio: Taliban Undermines Global Efforts To Eradicate Polio After Banning Vaccinations

220px-Polio_Egyptian_SteleThe Taliban has long personified the ignorance and intolerance found among religious extremists. Indeed, they first attracted international attention with their destruction of the famous giant Buddhas of Bamiyan. However, it is always impressive to see the degree to which its Islamic beliefs seem to produce uniformly harmful impacts on the populations under its cruel control. A report last week documented how there is a serious polio outbreak that is threatening global progress against the disease. The Taliban has denounced vaccinations as a Western plot and threatened anyone who receives one. It is a tragic irony since the disease has long been the scourge of the Middle East going back to ancient times, as this Egyptian tablet from the 18th Dynasty (1403–1365 BC) reflects. The ancient populations could only dream of a cure but, now that one is available, the Taliban again seeks to force its areas back into the dark ages.


Health officials have reported scores of crippled children as a result of the Taliban’s policy. The United States fueled the opposition to the program among extremists when it was disclosed that the CIA used a Pakistani vaccination team to gather intelligence about al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden — who was then killed by U.S. Special Forces. That success may prove to be a disaster for polio operations in reinforcing the medieval fears of groups like the Taliban.  It is treated as just another part of God’s plan for an ever-suffering humanity.

Pakistan has the highest rate of polio in the world following by Nigerian and Afghanistan. THere is also an outbreak in Syria to add to the misery of that population.

    I suggest you go to infowars, naturalnews or one of the many other sites and research their archives for the related info of US/Britain vaccines programs being used to commit war crimes/crimes against humanity.

    Then go research the Nuremberg Trials related to the same.

  2. Many doctors and health-care practitioners do not get vaccinated and do not vaccinate their children.

      Why not?  
     
    • They know vaccines are not proven to be safe or effective. 
    • They know vaccines contain dangerous substances.   
    • They know vaccines cause serious health problems. 
    • They have treated patients with serious side effects from vaccines.

  3. My dad had polio and spent a year of his childhood in bed. I’m thankful I live in a time when we don’t have children having to suffer from this one anymore.

    Also, an infant died recently up here in the NC mountains from whooping cough (pertussis) almost certainly because others around were not immunized, resulting in a failure of ‘herd immunity’.

  4. Amazingly, for a short time the West rejected the Ottoman empire’s early use of inoculation against small pox, written about in the 18th century by Lady Montagu. The west did not trust the Muslim empire’s practice and resisted giving any potential positive influence or press, even at the expense of their own citizenry’s health.

    1. It’s actually quite simple in our state. You go to your family doctor and ask them to complete an exemption form. It works.

    Territories are faith based and wont take vaccines for disease, do not let them travel or enter other nation states particularly the United States. We do not want them on the West Bank of the Mississippi in Cardinal Nation.

  9. The polio crusaders must stay out of these Pirate Territories and leave the people to their own demise. No one should do business there and outsiders should be banned from traveling there by their own nation states. Make their Ambassadors to the UN show proof of vaccine and give em a fresh vaccine when they arrive in New York. Do not go near the shores in a boat. Fly over and flush.

  13. The Taliban and the Saudis it is a sad but credible story. When you watch the cynical tantrum thrown by the Saudi Arabia at the UN about the UN just not doing enogh, it makes one want to scream. They have been bank rolling these and other extremists for decades and yet the US is willing to do their bidding and call them allies.

    As to our Taliban, I would bet the families of murdered abortion providers have a hard time understanding how they get away with it and they are able to parade around issuing statements on morals and rubbing shoulders with our political elite at festivals of comedy like the Al Smith dinner in NYC. Al Smith would be appalled at Dolan and his crew, anti democratic zealots who want whatever government subsidies they can get and demanding exemption from the law.

    Theocracies are dangerous for humans.

  17. I tried to write. My posts get deleted. perhaps because I can unravel the lies even accepted by the who consider themselves progressive. The Taliban is not the one who destroyed the Buddhas at Bamiyan, Afghanistan. They tried, using tank fire, charges, and rockets. They also conducted major ethnic cleansing of the Hazara people who are Shi’ites, and whose ancestors (some of their ancestors) built the Buddhas. The Taliban asked Saudi Arabia for help. The Saudis got Saudi and Pakistani engineers, many trained in the US, who understood how to shape the charges. It was Saudi and Pakistanis who destroyed the Buddhas, at the request of the Taliban. What you are not addressing is the Salafi Movement. This is the real threat. They are behind the Taliban, Boko Haram, the Muslim Brotherhood, Al Haqanni, Jama’at-e-Islami, Abu Sayef, the list goes on. The Saudi government is behind this, having spent more than US$100Billion to buy influence in Sunni mosques. They are funding, along with Qatar, the thugs in Syria, who came from Iraq, remnants of Al Qaeda Iraq(Zarkawi’s troops). The US is also aiding these groups as is Israel.(The Israelis want to have their annexation of the Golan Heights legally recognized, and the only way that will happen is if Syria is bleeding out, and extremists are ruling. Friends of mine, prominent professors of Middle Eastern Studies, suddenly can no longer get published, when they try to explain what is going on. I have been working for a just and peaceful settlement in the Middle East for 40 years now. I have also been marginalized. Clinton and Obama are complying with the Salafi. So are the Wahabbi. I would gladly talk to you about this if you are truly interested. This people are responsible for the death of MILLIONS of Shi’ites, Sufi and Ahmadiyah, as well as Bahai. This is the real thing. The ugly secret that maintains the status quo in the Islamic World, in the case of reactionary regimes, and the one who are undermining progressive and secular forces. They have issued Fatwas, calling millions of people ‘kaffirs’ and saying that there is merit in store for those who kill any of these people. Age does not matter. I have tried to talk to you before.   19. SMH anything to blame the innocent. its no lie the vaccinations given us by the pharma industry are designed to destroy our immune systems. they will never give us a cure for anything… the money is in keeping us sick and on their medications….

    and the rest has to do with their depopulation plans .. they say we’re using up their resources!!! hahahaha to funny.. there is a reason they are passing a law or at least trying to pass a law that makes talking against the corporation a felony charge..
