A series of videos of Baptist pastor Steven Anderson of the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona have gone viral as he talks about the solution of AIDS being the exterminations of all homosexuals and bisexual citizens. He explained that AIDS could be solved by Christmas with a simple holocaust for homosexuals. The videos are below.
Anderson takes off on this sermon to recognize “AIDS Awareness Day.” That led to his sermon entitled “AIDS: The Judgement of God” where he explains that Leviticus 20:13 compels the faithful to kill gay, lesbians, and bisexuals. He explains that, in his reading of the section, “I actually discovered the cure for AIDS.” Here is the thrust of his solution:
“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.”
Anderson added
“And that, my friend, is the cure for AIDS. It was right there in the Bible all along — and they’re out spending billions of dollars in research and testing. It’s curable — right there. Because if you executed the homos like God recommends, you wouldn’t have all this AIDS running rampant.”
What is chilling that Anderson refers to how many kids are in the audience as he spews this hateful sermon, including teaching them that “all homos are pedophiles” and screaming “No homos will ever be allowed in this church as long as I am pastor here.”
Anderson previously attracted attention by explaining why women have to be entirely silent in church. Not even an amen:
If your stomach can take it, here is the full sermon:

Corrction above raff,
“And yet, the Moderate Christians let these whackadoodles spout”
s/b Moderate Christian Leaders
Say, who here knew that Tony Perkins was a featured speaker at the Vatican last month? Yep, invited by the Pope to come guide the RCC about… (drum roll please) the homo-sex-you-alls.
From… (drum roll please) another Conservative newsy site.

Where do Liberals find these people?
How did He handle lepers who were outcasts in their day?
= = =
He provided his own Universal Medical Care out of his own pocket…

Those example work too…
I guess our examples never apply when a fundamental Christian insists that the Old Testament takes precedent to Jesus’ teachings in the New. And yet, the Moderate Christians let these whackadoodles spout unjust hate from a pulpit, even when that pulpit is in a rented out basement or an overly priced house of Crystal Palaces… Just silence.
Now, my local church is not a fundamental church nor is it a “big box” house of Crystal Palace. It is in an old church and of the Unitarian sect. The current pastor and his husband are great! But they aren’t on T.V. or FOXNews(R) or in national blogs or forums of contempt, so their voices go unheard from by the masses in large. Their’s is but a whisper in a storm of oppression, yet they too, are making waves here at home.
@Rafflaw
Actually, I just did compare them in NYC.
http://www.nyc.gov/html/doh/downloads/pdf/dires/surveillance-report-dec-2013.pdf
If the fact that the number of AIDS deaths in one year is 4 to 5 times the number of murders in NYC in one year is surprising to you, then perhaps you need to reconsider what I have been saying, and reconsider your own opinions.

Squeeky,
If I am interested in the subject, I read them. That shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.
Max,
I was thinking of “He who is perfect can cast the first stone” (paraphrase) and how forgiving Jesus was and how he hung out with Mary Magdelene who used to be considered as a prostitute or a sinner, but some more modern authorities claim she was Jesus’ wife. How did He handle lepers who were outcasts in their day?
rafflaw – the whole Mary Magdalene thing is bad theology which stuck because no one actually went back and checked. And the ‘evidence’ about being married to her is flimsy at best and a fraud at worst.
@Rafflaw
I think anybody of either political persuasion can overdo the links. Sooo, I expressed my opinion. My guess would be that when someone puts up a whole bunch of links, the desire of other persons to read those links decreases. That is personally true for me. I try to read the links people put up. But, when they put up a lot, I just tend to ignore them. Max-1 would probably be more effective at backing up his views with fewer links, but once again, that is only my OPINION. Max-1 can take my opinion on that for whatever it is worth to him.
What do you do when somebody puts up a lot of links???

No one has to believe that your chosen lifestyle is normal.
= = =
Squeeky,
You lost me at Hello.
Religion and faith are a “chosen life style”…
… Being born gay, isn’t.
Say Squeeky, since you think being gay is a choice, then your presumption also indicates that sexuality, as a whole, is all about “chosen lifestyles”. So, it stands without asking, that you too, had to “CHOOSE” between being gay or straight or something in between… Yet I already know your answer by your response. “I was born that way.”
Tell us about that moment you discovered you weren’t gay… Because I can trace back when I was shamed for feeling attractions to other males as young as 4 or 5 and decided to not be gay and “act” straight until I realized it was really all a lie to make other people happy…
Say, if you can be born “straight” why can’t I be born gay?
Squeeky,
I don’t think you want to compare the deaths due to AIDS to the number killed by guns in this country.
Squeeky,
Max has the same right we all do to comment as much as he wants, doesn’t he? So when he provides some possible evidence to the arguments he is making, that is a bad thing to you? I would think that a legal blog like RIL would be looking for more links and sources. But, I guess that is just a “link bomb” to you.
Jack
Inga, who influences your politics? Surely, you can’t have come up with an opinion all by yourself, considering how deeply convinced you are
= = =
Dear Jack,
I gave a litany of different Conservative sourced to draw from…
… So, what attack Annie? Let me fix your statement a bit, shall I?
Jack, who influences your politics? Surely, you can’t have come up with an opinion all by yourself.
Like that?
Max-1,
You are playing fast and loose with the posts you think you are responding to. Try reading them first, starting with Inga’s post to which I was responding. And don’t let your animosity get ahead of your comprehension.
@Max-1
No one has to believe that your chosen lifestyle is normal. No one should have to risk getting HIV so that gay people’s feeling won’t be hurt. No one has to agree with your views on homosexuality. You seem incensed that some people simply won’t view things the way that you do, and therefore they must be crazy, or religious wackos, or whatever. Sorry, but this isn’t North Korea yet, and some of us insist on having our own opinions.
Sooo, you can link bomb the thread all you want, but you can’t make people who don’t agree with you externally validate your choices or beliefs. As far as the HIV diagnosis going down, Whoopee! Here’s the numbers:
Hmmm. 2,832 HiV diagnoses and around 1,500 AIDS diagnoses. About 1,600 people with HIV died during the year. Meanwhile, the murder rate in NYC is about 400-500 per year. Gee, but gay guys are killing 3 to 4 times more gay guys than murderers are killing their victims! Oh, mega whoopees for the special gay snowflakes!
Sooo, back to my question that I have asked before on this thread:

There is a reason the Southern Poverty Law Center has classified the all too often “go to” source of FOXNews(R), the Family Research Council, as a hate group…
http://www.splcenter.org/what-we-do/lgbt-rights
Max-1 – The SPLC is, in itself, a hate group. Their sole purpose is survival. They cannot continue if they cannot identify ‘new’ hate groups. Max, you are better than this.

WWJD?
Well, in Matt 23, he’s pretty clear.
Oh and in 22 he’s clear about the politics too…
18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, “Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
19 Shew me the tribute money.” And they brought unto him a penny.
20 And he saith unto them, “Whose is this image and superscription?”
21 They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, “Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.”
22 When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.
(bolding mine)

The ONLY time religion should become political is IF the religion is TAXED FIRST!
I reserve the right to act totally opposite of what Jesus would act. WWJD?

Great work Max-1. Whenever religion and politics mix, the results are not pretty.
p.s.
It’s also NOT Sharia Laws when fundamental Christians seek to institute Christian “Sharia” styled laws… Never. EVER. Yes?
