  1. Right Nick I give you published facts and you give me supposition and your opinion, and an ad hominem attack. You really are winning this one – in your own mind. And not so coincidentally no rebuke from anyone on the civility policy. Could it be that your schtick is getting old even to your own now disgusted supporters? Let’s hope so there Walter. Ok, time for your sock puppet to come to your aid.

  2. Paul I think our favorite ambulance chaser is spinning outta control. Maybe we need to get him some clients. I can go to the local police station and comb the files for rear end collision reports. That is what his ilk do. They actually have runners do it. But, once in awhile I’ll see the real alcoholic ambulance chasers combing through the daily reports themselves. That’s when they’re really down and out.

  3. W/ Mespo it’s like playing chess w/ a chicken. He knocks over all the pieces, takes a dump on the board, and then struts around like he won. LOL.

Dems control the northern cities. They take the black vote, give them some walking around money, and let them live in squalor. That is not even debatable. Living in a little box is no way to go through life, Marky. You still are not answering for crapping on Russell Wilson, a guy you allegedly coached.

  4. Lord knows the ambulance chasers source, he didn’t cite it. Maybe his butt. From the SS stats published, SS Disability has skyrocketed 20% during the Obama Administration. And for the past 5 years, the SS Disability Trust Fund has run deficits, the first time ever that has occurred. The anally derived stats from Marky Mark may have come from a January report in the WSJ? They report, under pressure from Congress, and because the explosion in claims allowed by the Obama Administration including records Disability deficits, they did bust 100 recipients recently. Lawyers lie for a living.

Does anyone believe Obama would be tough on welfare?? LOL!

  5. PR, I also have three different autoimmune issues. Two are under good control, the inflammatory arthritis is an atypical RA and still gives my grief with flare ups every couple of weeks. I’ll check out your links, thanks. A lot of my arthritis is due to OA, many years of nursing took its toll on my spine.

  6. Mespo, when ones’s assumptions and assertions don’t match reality, it’s just easier for the unscrupulous person to fill in the many blanks, that a shoddy ‘investigation’ produces. For someone who never backs up their assertions with solid facts, all we can do is laugh, because it truly has become hilarious in a sad sort of way. I’ve had my grown children read some of the things that have come out of this person’s mouth and they are shocked at what a supposedly normal person with a family of their own has said on an online forum to people he truly does not know.

  7. Sandi and Inga,
I do not have back trouble, but I do have an autoimmune condition and was very sick with many seemingly unrelated symptoms that my PCP and others did not “fix”. A functional medicine doctor made me feel better (my autoantibodies are now almost down to single digits).

    Institute for Functional Medicine: https://www.functionalmedicine.org/

Here is Dr. Terry Wahls, internal medicine doc at the University of Iowa, who advocates for the Institute for Functional Medicine (I cannot remember if she mentions them in this presentation or one of her other presentations): http://terrywahls.com/minding-your-mitochondria-dr-terry-wahls-at-tedxiowacity/

  8. Nick:

“The Obama Administration hardly investigates any fraud. The more people dependent on โ€œfreeโ€ money, the more Dem voters.”

    ***************

I see that nose of yours growing again there Walter Mitty. Under Obama in one year alone 2012, more than $4.2 Billion of fraudulent social security and welfare payments were recovered by the joint DOJ and HHS fraud task force which is more than Bush recovered in any year of his or any other person’s Presidency. Since 2009, Obama has recovered $14.9 Billion which dwarfs the tough on crime Repubs by factors of 10. Prosecutions are way up, too. The facts are out there if you want to look. It took me 4 minutes to find the numbers. Nick works quicker. He just lies. Like I said before, I never use PIs who weren’t cops. You can’t trust many of them.

    1. mespo – since the number of people on welfare has grown to 43 million. One should expect the numbers of fraud to increase. The question is: Has the enforcement grown at the same rate as the welfare.

  9. Sandi:

I have no doubt you don’t watch CNN. That does require some reading skills which you don’t have. The CNN camerawoman was the victim of the Republican racist not the other way round. Btw have you started giving back that middle class welfare yet? After you’ve gitten 6 years of social security benefits excluding and Meducare benefits you’ve received, you’ve got all you paid in plus interest, so you can send the money back after that. They take it. If not you’re a hypocrit.

    1. mespo – are you having a stroke, drinking or has your spelling suddenly gone to hell. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  10. So Nick the party that passed the Civil Rights laws, the anti poverty lawns and the fair housing laws put blacks in squalor but the fine Republicans who’d let poor people starve in the streets and fought those laws every step of the way were quite helpful, eh? You really are delusional blaming the people in the ghettos ( those choices you know– guess that explains kids in poverty, too) and the people trying to help them out for the plight of African-Americans. Do you like getting drubbed with the facts and appearing the fool? You must. I’ll give you credit you can take a punch. You just don’t know when you’re punch drunk.

  11. Happy says:
I know you have never seen anything on here about the indignities and poverty I have suffered and overcome.โ€” Oh, wait โ€” it doesnโ€™t count because I am mostly Caucasian โ€”- just because of issues I refuse to discuss on line because they would just be a reason for you to twist the knife that you swear you are not twisting a little deeper.
I think we are through here

Happy, you’ve done a lot of explaining above about why your comments were so innocent, you were just…just…just…
The bottom line is that you are double faced. You claim to be what you are not. ๐Ÿ™‚
You bite, then blow, then bite, then blow.
You claim to be the better (wo)man, and dare give advice about how not to throw hissy fits, only to reveal a thin skin and a propensity for throwing those…yes, hissy fits!
You have distorted my words many times, claiming offense for something I never said. I am done trying to keep the peace, dislike being held emotionally hostage ๐Ÿ™‚
You obviously dislike Holder, then compare me to Holder, then say …no, no bad intentions there…just get over it…you are way too sensitive…
You assume that Michelle Alexander has an agenda, instead of just checking what she says, read up on it and challenge your bias!
I challenge your logic and arguments? You pout and claim I attacked you!

How do I know what your experience has been? Because you have shared it here a few times! That’s how!
You have gone out of your way to condemn others for not rising above their circumstances, and used your example to prove the moral validity of your stance, because you, have risen above your circumstances.

This is free advice, anyone who blames others for failing to rise above their personal circumstances while using themselves as a successful example of it, has either not risen above those circumstances, or has not learned the lessons of those circumstances. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. po – I have already pointed out that Alexander has an agenda. How the devil can a book called New Jim Crow Laws not have an agenda. Geez. Get a grip, my friend.

    2. Po

      Seriously???

This is free advice, anyone who blames others for failing to rise above their personal circumstances while using themselves as a successful example of it, has either not risen above those circumstances, or has not learned the lessons of those circumstances. ๐Ÿ™‚

I am blaming people that have made an anthem out of the song “We Shall Overcome” Here listen to this – its beautiful – President Obama gives an address at this college because it’s a “Negro” College

      I am Blaming people????

      really??

He who has the desire to keep his life will have it taken from him, and he who gives up his life because of me will have it given back to him.

Happy, we all suffered indignities in life, all of us, some more than others. Some of us use it to forge more empathy for others, refrain from judging and know that each one of us is embarked upon his/her own journey, and the challenges one encounters in that journey is oneโ€™s and oneโ€™s alone, and others use it to point the finger at everyone else, using themselves as the barometer, hence the standard.
Everything that ever happened to me taught me not to judge others unless I am in their shoes.
The ability I have to empathize with others allows me to hold them accountable for their actions WHILE at the same time understanding that other factors upon which they have no control played a huge role in their lives. If that makes me Eric Holder, then thank you, I am proud to accept such high praise. (By the way, the idea of Eric Holder being a criminal is only found in the alternate universe of Breitbart and the Daily Caller. I am glad you are liberal, cause your impersonation of the other side got me worried ๐Ÿ™‚

You may say whatever you want about what happened to you, but unless you were born black or native american (and no, 1/16th does not qualify) in this country, and carry with you the legacy of slavery, of genocide, of systemic discrimination, of being the product of a structure that is built upon your being a lesser human, you have no right, nor are you qualified to speak for them or judge them.
As no one else can speak on your experience of being a defenseless child abused by others. I would defend your right to feel however you must feel in relation to your history and experience, if that makes me Gloria Allred, then great.

People will get over anything, as long as they have the structure, time and wherewithal to get over it. Native Americansโ€™ problems is just not one of geography, it is akin to saying to people in the ghetto, or poor white people in the Appalachians to just get out.
    And go where?
Where they must get jobs, pay rent and struggle with minimum wage until they can hit upon the american dream?
In the ghettos of the next place they move to?
Meanwhile they lose their community, lose their land and become acculturated?
Do you realize that these ghettos that Paul keep blaming on the democrats were a destination place? That black people who served in the war came home looking to buy into those solid white communities? And government policies, along with sharks leaning on those government policies resulted in white flight and those previously havenly places became what we have now?

We can rewrite history all we want and focus on demonizing the democrats as much as we want (and just so it is clear, I voted green party last presidential elections, and will vote 3rd party from now on), but that is indeed a red herring. That is not the topic.

    Po

I bow to your vast experience with humility. Since you know so much how the Native American structure works and every other prejudice in this land I might add, I bow down to it.

I know you have never seen anything on here about the indignities and poverty I have suffered and overcome.— Oh, wait — it doesn’t count because I am mostly Caucasian —- just because of issues I refuse to discuss on line because they would just be a reason for you to twist the knife that you swear you are not twisting a little deeper.

I think we are through here

  13. Paul
It would suffice for you to make your case…you know, back up your claim of genocide by the Indians. Not the whole history is needed, just the salient parts.

Happy, where have I claimed you are looking for sympathy? Isn’t a strawman required to make a strawman argument? As you just showed ?:)
Meanwhile, how blessed these Indians are to be offered these life-changing scholarships to help themselves…if they can trace ancestry!
I think, all things being equal…between losing everything and gaining scholarships…they got the better end of the deal! Those lucky indians! Casinos and scholarships…boy, they got it made!

  14. Sandi, perhaps it would help the discussion if you stick to one topic per post, with the supporting evidence behind the claims you make. Your comments are mostly wild claims and derived conclusions from facts only known to you, that seem to come out of nowhere, and when challenged, you act defensive.
I hate to skip your posts but they just confuse me.

    1. Po

I just meant you sounded like Holder when he gave those 3 examples at the Ferguson Protests of what (my pappy puppy is stammping her feet and whining with all of her 3 pounds so now I am distracted because she wants attention ๐Ÿ˜‰ anyway, as I was saying you and that Alexander woman were talking about the 3 new Jim Crow Laws and I think you listed Drugs, lack of education and poverty I would add voting because when I read that PDF report that is what she said. I disagree with her though because the populist movement showed that both races suffered from poverty from the rich classes. Now it’s just overseas in shops in China and Indonesia and Malaysia and Vietnam.

She has and agenda and I can respect that because she wants to help her people but this is my point, as long as we continue in this country of opportunity to be ethnocentric culturally and we don’t have a blend – Mespo – are you listening? – we are going to suffer these problems. We need to stop making these people feel as if they are victims and show them that they also are just as good as everyone else no matter what their backround was.

Yes, they are supposed to overcome their backround so they can be whole and as long as they have people victimizing them like lawyers and the Alexander Woman and Holder to stir them up into a self righteous mob they are never going to be able to look in the mirror and like themselves and be whole.

I noticed you were discussing with Mr Schulte the French and Indian War. Western Civilization is very complicated just like Middle Eastern. The French and the Indians were on the Same side against the English for the rich Ohio Valley and it eventually sowed the seeds of the American Revolution.
      http://www.sparknotes.com/history/american/frenchindian/context.html

Also, as far as Holder goes as I did not complete my statement above Holder did cause trouble at the Columbia University and I have a link from Daily Kos that kind of glosses it over but it’s there
      http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/11/18/663074/-So-who-is-Eric-Holder

And he caused trouble for Ferguson too when they both knew that Michael Brown was not shot in then back and the riots went ahead anyway and Obama had Nixon hold the National Guard back.

      That is inexcusable
