By the way, mespo, lest it be misunderstood (it’s been happening to me quite a bit here lately with old allies) my comment above:
” Don’t mind me, just watching and learning! Mespo and Inga, I wanna be you guys when I grow up…I realize I have been doing it all wrong all along…Such ease dismantling and dismembering…!”, was supposed to be an expression of admiration AND support.
few thousand years ago? Mythology? Poseidon is as relevant today as he ever was…Still at the church…twice a week!
Isaac, I’m surprised you are happy with ACA. I see several doctors and they are all against it. I think it will decrease the quality of care. I’m 73, so I won’t have to watch.
I think Congress will offer some major changes to make it better and less costly. Of course, there’s another case at SCOTUS which could really change it. Do you like Gruber’s telling you you’re too stupid to understand it?
Well, millions of us did understand and the election of 2014 gives us hope that our teaching and research hospitals will provide the quality we had. But I probably won’t be around to see that either.
I tbink Holder should be indicted… Lenny too
Sold out…coming in
Give it time, po. A few thousand years ago you’d have been hustling over to local Church of Poseidon. Now you call it mythology.
😉
Raff:
It’s preferable to slumping down in some car seat as you try to film the local bank vice President ushering some cocktail waitress into the motel room as his wife sleeps across town; or following around some poor slob trying to hustle a few bucks to feed his kids by doing odd jobs cause his workers comp carrier is withholding his disability check to squeeze him ; or getting some dirt on the local politician to use against him in the election. A walk to clear your head, find God and assuage your conscience would take about 50 miles.
I know, I know, Mespo. That is a problem we have, no doubt 🙂
Thanks for the link, the argument it makes is hard to refute… perhaps why it hasn’t been yet.
Something about the company one keeps…if 3 out of 4 called upon are soiled, the 4th is likely to be tainted.
I am tired just thinking about a 50 mile walk! 😀
Thanks, Wadewilliams. Whitehouse bears repeating.
Inga:
“I thought it was pretty unseemly to gather such notable people to do their bashing of the outgoing AG for them.”
*********************
Like we said in law school on the topic of coercion, you “can’t rape the willing,”
mespo – you clearly have not been keeping up on college rape law. You now “can rape the willing.” And law schools are dying.
Stop it you guys. I’m belly laughing so hard that I’m going to wake Suzanne. “50 mike walk … Duopoly.” You got him cold. Frank Gorshen would be proud.
Just keeping with the metaphysical theme. Also Mespo, I thought it was pretty unseemly to gather such notable people to do their bashing of the outgoing AG for them.
That would be Senator Whitehouse.
Mespo
Gee. I don’t know. Let’s see what Senator Whitehorse has to say…
Oh and Holder is the False Prophet to Obama, the Antichrist.
The duopoly is demonic! Just thought I’d add my two cents, lol.
Hey. Don’t go challenging Nick on his facts regarding all the haters and atheists. His facts came directly from God. Nick ran into him one day during his fifty mile walk along the beach. Nick thought God was a pretty great guy – not an elitist at all. Nick is sure (as he is about everything) God is a Libertarian. Just one with pretty strict rules. But once we all get straight with the rules, America will have Freedom!
Anyway, back to the topic: does anyone think it proper cribbage to lambast the outgoing attorney general in the hearing to apprive the next one when the object of the ire isn’t around to defend himself?
I’ll take an informal poll on the topic.
Stonebender:
“Wax your beak”. Lol. You win the Flying Spaghetti Monster award!
