Co-Pilot Accused Of Intentionally Locking Out Pilot And Crashing Germanwings Flight 9525

BN-HP395_0326lu_H_20150326103252A French prosecutor has issued a statement that the co-pilot of Germanwings 9525, Andreas Lubitz, 28, locked out the pilot of the plane and then intentionally crashed the plane in the French Alps. The conclusion adds a new horrific detail to an already horrific crash. It was not an accident according to a review of the record from the black box found at the crash site.

The cockpit voice recorder revealed the pilot politely knocking to be allowed back into the cockpit and then frantically banging on the door as Lubitz directed the plane into the ground. Marseille prosecutor Brice Robin said that Lubitz “wanted to destroy this plane.” He killed 150 passengers and crew, who can be heard in the background screaming in terror. New reports indicate that there may have been issues in the past with regard to depression.

320_GERMANWINGS_D-AIPX_147_10_05_14_BCN_RIP_(16730197959)Germanwings, a low-budget carrier operated by Lufthansa, will likely face litigation over the crash and this adds a new issue. Companies will often offer a “rogue employee” defense of an employee acting outside the scope of their employment or clearly against the rules and wishes of the employer. This would clearly appear to fit since this is a senseless criminal act. However, there will remain the question of whether the airline had any indication or should have uncovered the type of mental imbalance that would lead to such an suicidal and murderous act.

  1. Po and Ingannie should lay off the sauce. I’ll bet the imam ain’t too happy about that po. Your secret is safe with me. A little moonshine may do you some good. Is Ingannie your wife or your sister or both?

The two biggest crybabies, who can’t bear to have any criticism leveled at them, have decided to evade the topic at hand and have put their efforts into chastising those with whom they disagree.

What both won’t address is the pilot, who, by all accounts, converted to Islam, and then decided to commit jihad, like all Muslims are commanded. I’m sure that won’t be addressed by either because it’s inconvenient and doesn’t fit the narrative. Who, in his right mind, would ever get into a plane piloted by a Muslim? I wouldn’t, and I know that anyone who values his life would feel the same. Islam is inconsistent with a sane, safe and normal society.

  2. Above all else, liberals are tedious and boring. That’s why they never succeed on radio or TV talk.

  3. JT seems pretty happy to me. The attacks were exponentially worse during the dark days prior to Jan. 2014. Again, the record speaks for itself. But, this is all inside baseball stuff. I’m tired of it, and I’m sure most others are as well. But, liberals love to whine, moan, and play victim. It’s boring!

Who is Mao? I mean, who is he here? Am I at risk of going to prison for reeducation? Can I bring my blowdryer and my cans of solid white albacore tuna, packed in water, with me?

yoyoma, Mao is the person who started the schism blog, Flower For Socrates. He does not comment here any longer.

Fascinating!!!!!!! Nick is talking to himself! Better yet, Nick is talking to his avatar, his nom de plume, his aka…
I bet JT rues the day he let the inmates take over the asylum! So much energy wasted attacking others!

Pogo finally offered some definition of lefty…and Paul still hasn’t offered a source supporting the claim that there is a CAIR office at the WHite House. I am willing to let it drop if he never brings up Cair again.

Also, some of my posts were removed. I saw them in the timeline after clicking publish, then found them displayed no more. I’d appreciate at least a ticket to let me know what I said that was to remain unsaid.

Also, too: The haters– racists, Islamo-phobes, misogynists, et al in this country are the catoptric image of the radical Islamists they profess to despise so much.

    No truer thing ever said!

  6. Is it just me, or does anyone else get the distinct impression that Ingannie has a major crush on Nick? Maybe that’s not exactly correct. Ok. Maybe more like an obsession or an infatuation. I don’t think that Mrs. Spinelli has anything to lose sleep over.

    1. “Is it just me, or does anyone else get the distinct impression that Ingannie has a major crush on Nick? Maybe that’s not exactly correct”

Not exactly. The whole thing reminds me of a fast talking Tracy/Hepburn rom-com where the two don’t have a clue till they are swept off their feet.

      Its kind of cute.

I have been waiting for the scene where she throws the dishes at his head.

  7. @Ken:

You are one tiresome fellow; get over yourself already.

    @Ingannie:

Carry on. Keep up the good fight. I have a salad and pizza and a nice little sangiovese coming up, so I’m out for now. But, I will be back, though, as this is a helluva place to keep an eye on the likes of P.S,, “yoyo”, N.S., and the other members of the American Taliban here.

  8. Karen, Indeed I can. LOL! I just turned on a batting practice fastball. My eyes lit up when I saw it.

  9. Nick – I did not know that about the co-pilot. How frightening that an airline could be in the dark about an alleged medical condition.

As for the link to the vaulted ideals of Leftism, how can someone believe people have a right to a good job, but also believe in personal responsibility and working hard? If you have a right to a job, and you don’t work hard, then both those concepts cannot be simultaneously true. And anyone who thinks the Left believes in personal freedom without undue government interference is either in serious denial or hasn’t been paying attention.

I judge by actions more than rhetoric, and the actions of the Left speak loud and clear.

No single political party reflects all of my beliefs accurately. And yet, Liberalism is the only party that I oppose out of hand due to the long, well documented history of their actions, and unintended consequences. Perhaps Liberalism is like Feminism, a movement that originally meant well but went far, far afield.

  10. Spinelli, is your name Wlter Mitty? Sheesh, mind your own business, or do you think I’m speaking about YOU? Something in what I said rings true to you?

  11. One can only pity poor Walter Mitty, poor poor Mr. Mitty, alas. It would be kind to just poo poo him.

  12. Poor Walter Mitty must live a boring life, so he spends hours and hours researching other people. When he didn’t find what he was looking for he made up the rest. Such an active imagination, there’s that at least.

  13. Back to the topic. The co-pilot was reportedly in the loony bin for a couple months. He just got dumped by his girlfriend. Instead of being just depressed and eating a 9mm; being a borderline personality disorder he felt compelled to make many people’s lives miserable, because he was miserable. These Europeans seem to have more than their share. Remember the wacky homicidal nurse in Italy. Borderline personality disorder.

  14. Poor Walter Mitty never learned how to back up his assertions, he could only blow hard and hope that people believed him.

  15. Poor Walter Mitty couldn’t come close to matching their intellect, he was shown to be grossly inadequate to comment cogently. He could only give personal anecdotes about his Great Aunt LuLu and Uncle Elmer.
