The Islamic State is offered the world another horrific view of its enforcement of Islamic or Sharia justice. The Islamic extremists tosses gay men from a building in front of a large crowd. The men were held by their ankles and then dropped from the roof. WARNING: the photos at this site are highly disturbing.
What is particularly disturbing is the gathering of children to watch such religiously fueled hate and violence. Likewise, a Kuwaiti cleric has warned that that is a “gay worm” that makes non-Shiites gays. The Gulf states have said that they want to deploy a type of “gaydar” that detects homosexuals when they try to enter the country.

You might be right. I don’t know. The whole HIV thing among men who have sex with men (MSM) is almost 100% preventable. Yet still, 30,000 of them get infected each year, many on purpose, and most of the rest because the “top” can’t or won’t be bothered with at least putting on a condom. It seems to me that when this many people are already dead, sick or dying, there ought to be more concern there among the pro-gay crowd. I mean if a dozen people get slaughtered in the Middle East, and you find that a bad thing, then what in the world do you call 30,000 of those same people getting needlessly infected here in the U.S.???
I think MADD had a good take on how to handle problems that get less attention than what was deserved, and that was simply to get in people’s faces about it. Then, over time, people started catching on that real people were being killed and wounded just because someone wouldn’t pass the keys off to a sober friend. Which wasn’t much of a reason for somebody to die. Or to become a killer.
Same with MSM. An particular kind of an org*sm simply isn’t much of a reason for somebody to die, or to become a killer. FWIW, I think the numbers are such that more MSM die and get sick than either murder victims each year, or those killed by drunk drivers. Personally, I know two gay guys who are HIV positive, and it is no cakewalk for them, either physically, or financially. For one, the meds are about $4,000 per month. I have lost touch with the other. He may be dead by now. He was wasting pretty badly the last time I saw him, and his thinking was becoming more disordered.
Sooo, I throw the numbers in people’s faces, and maybe it will stick for one or two of them. Most people are totally unaware of either the nature or degree of the problem. I hope what I say puts in in perspective for them. It is an uphill battle.

Squeeky, you did present some interesting stats. Nothing good can be said about the topic of the story, but coming up with something else to compare it to seems to have no real value, to me. Horrible is horrible, and humanity keeps on doing things that can’t be justified or provide any meaning or usefulness. The story itself gives all the information that needs to be said about it. Comments or opinions can’t make it worse. Passing laws and making judgments would be futile. And anyone who would defend what was described would have a questionable value system anyway, so what’s the point, if not simply to provide crazy entertainment?

Wow. This blog has some crazy arguments going on in the comments frequently, but this post just went right off the top of the scale of craziness today. Totally insane. Like an “Ain’t it Awful” championship competition, with the prize going to the one who can make everyone else look the worst. This is great! Highly amusing.

Oh, what a cop out! You aren’t afraid of pigs. You are just afraid you will have to confront piggish behavior by you and your gay comrades. You don’t have an intelligent response to the fact that 1 out of 5 of you guys are HIV positive, and still don’t bother to even wear a condom. It’s not vitriol. It’s just the truth. If you truly hate seeing dead gay men, then why aren’t complaining about gay behavior which results in whole lots of . . .dead gay men??? FWIW, sodomy, and men who have sex with men, have killed more Americans since the 1980’s than the Japs and Germans did during WWII and the Commies in Korea and Vietnam combined. All of these deaths were so that a gay guy could have his particular fun type of org*sm via sodomy, without a condom. He could have had about the same quantum of fun by using a condom, but that was too great a price to pay for him.
