Kentucky was faced with another case of drama and failure to perform statutory duties and the federal courts. The Casey County Clerk announced that he would refuse to issue marriage licenses to couples who’s marriage he objects to.

The clerk, in a bit of irony, is named Casey Davis.

Davis insists that he has a duty to himself to violate state law but oddly he feels the Commonwealth should pay for an attorney to represent him.

Kentucky governor Steve Beshear in July granted an audience with Mr. Davis and thereafter ordered him to issue licenses to all couples regardless of their gender or resign. Defiantly, the county clerk stated, “I’m going to trust the Lord with all my heart, my position remains.”

Governor Beshear issued the following statement:

“This morning, I advised Mr. Davis that I respect his right to his own personal beliefs regarding same-sex marriages,” the Governor’s statement reads. “However, when he was elected, he took a constitutional oath to uphold the United States Constitution. According to the United States Supreme Court, the Constitution now requires that governmental officials in Kentucky and elsewhere must recognize same-sex marriages as valid and allow them to take place. One of Mr. Davis’ duties as county court clerk is to issue marriage licenses, and the Supreme Court now says that the United States Constitution requires those marriage licenses to be issued regardless of gender. Mr. Davis’ own county attorney has advised him that his oath requires him to do so.”

Here is a video of Mr. Davis speaking before supporters:

  1. NEWSFLASH – As it turns out, SECESSION was the right of the Confederate States.

    _____

    SECESSION IN SPAIN

“Gateway to Catalan Republic: 1.4 million rally for independence in Barcelona”

At least 1.4 million of Catalans have filled the streets of Barcelona, calling for secession from Spain, as the region prepares to go to the polls in what local politicians say will serve as a proxy vote for independence.
The rally’s organizers said that up to 2 million demonstrators took to the streets of Barcelona, while the Catalan news agency (CNA) put the figure at 1.4 million people.

    _____

As we can see from the article above and history, SECESSION is a natural, innate right of states and the Confederate States had the right to secede.

The “Butterfly Effect” allows us to understand that follow-on events such as those of Lincoln’s “Reign of Terror” and the progressive/socialist implementation of the principles of communism in the 20th century, are similarly unconstitutional. America is living a lie.

The “overreach” of the executive branch, the ideological subjectivity and corruption of the judicial branch and the negligence and dereliction of the legislative branch must be eliminated and penalized.

An inane discussion regarding the unconstitutional and wholly irrelevant ascendance of homosexuality is moot, when the very state itself is unconstitutional.

“I do not recognize the Supreme Court’s opinion as valid.”
    = = =
Well, the opinion or the majority or minority? Neither… ?
Are you the type that like the SCOTUS when they rule in favor on ONLY the cases you agree with and the rulings you don’t agree with you just ignore? REALLY?

It only counts when you agree…

  3. Davidm
They’ve appealed how many times? There is an appeal waiting for Monday, already filed late Friday AFTER her last appeal Friday morning was rejected. Didn’t YOU listen to Staver? How many failed appeals does it take to get through to you folks that your cause is but a lost one… Give it up and go home. Kimmy D needs to resign or keep finding her Jesus behind bars. Period.

“I would favor laws restricting such to marry ”
    = = =
    Where is that push?
Instead, you obsess about gay male butt sex.

  5. Three years ago before the federal tyrant blackrobed judicial legislators began reversing democracy in favor of enriching homosexual ‘unions” with the perks of “marriage, homosexuals were doing just fine. We all are old enough to remember. Take your stonewall mythology and put it in a pipe and smoke it. Homosexuals are the least abused “victim” of American history by far.

The worst abused victim, the indigenous ‘Indians,” could only wish for lavish treatment the rich DINK homosexuals get. The poor “natives” of flyover today, suckers cannon fodder of every war in our two centuries history, are headed for the dustbin of history just like the tribes, if they cant grow a backbone and start to consider their own interests.

  6. ” How did secession go last time… ?”

A typical remark that belies the passive aggressive mentality that the designated “Victim” has towards the majority.

All of my remarks about the designated victim being the tool of global capitalism, just goes over your head like it does most peoples. That’s fine.

The Yankee project is still on track, but at some point it will falter. Maybe China will decide to prick the bubble. Maybe it has already, but it will take a while to set in. ‘

Without the US dollar and unlimited debt financing that the feds have, there is no way they could maintain the global empire and keep control of flyover. One day we may have a peasant “Long March” against capitalism lead from our interior just like Mao lead one from the Chinese interior, against the foreign agressors and their patsies in his generation.

    1. “One day we may have a peasant “Long March” against capitalism lead from our interior just like Mao lead one from the Chinese interior, against the foreign agressors and their patsies in his generation.”

What percent of the population, do you suppose, in fly over country is against capitalism?

And what system do you propose to replace capitalism?

The last I heard communism, socialism and fascism are not that popular in fly over land. So I am going to guess those are not the replacement for capitalism.

Just wondering what the new order is going to be?

“I could care less about socalled gay rights. I am concerned with majority rights.”
    = = =
When advocating the majority get’s to decide?
    Laughable…

Lacks respect for the oppressed by that majority.
What ‘Rights’ are afforded this minority by the bigoted majority?
    Got respect, yet?

  8. Some people have a hard time understanding gay right wingers like Pim Fortuyn, who in the Netherlands was opposed to mass migrations. He understood it was the sympathy of white Christian Europeans for the tiny homosexual minority, that gave them “rights’ in the first place.

But he was an exception. Most pro homosexual emancipators are also in favor of mass third world migration to America and the west. That is kind of odd, isn’t it, because most nonwhite nations don’t tolerate homosexuality in the least bit like America or European countries.

The key to unlock these apparent contradictions, likes in understanding cultural marxisms aka deconstructionism and how it is a weaponized ideology representing the interests of the global plutocracy. They use the lingo of “human rights” and political correctness and diversity, to attack the core populations of America and Europe, and undermine their cultural unities and disunite them and atomize them and make them more pliant consumers of the global financial regime. The migration of nonwhite refugees, is not really to help the refugees, it is to put the natives off balance.

Likewise, the destabilization of regimes like Quadaffi’s or Assad’s or Hussein’s Irak, opens up new markets for financial exploitation. It also suits the strategic aims of the House-of-Saud wing of global capitalism, that is opposed to the Russians and their anti-liberal allies the Chinese.

All this is headed for war or capitulation. Either the global capitalist regime and its top cop NATO gets its way, or there will be war. WW3 may already be upon us and we just don’t know it. Is there any other way?

Or maybe, just maybe, a new resistance to financism inside the West. Without a vigorous new public opposition to financism and globalism and capitalist wars and exploitation of all the peoples of the world. The only glimmer of hope is that something like the Iran deal represents the latter, and an unlikely candidate such as Obama would help actually deliver on his peace promises, if only late in the game.

But the right wingers will keep on being deluded by the phony “GWOT” and the left wingers will keep on being deluded by phony causes too, like Gay rights. There is very little hope indeed that global capitalist destruction of all true diversity and true local communitarian resistance will not actually proceed apace.

  9. The idea that drinking fountains can be split between white and black is, on it’s face, meant to be divisive.
The idea that whites may enter through the front door and blacks through the side entry is, on it’s face, meant to be divisive.
The idea that women can be paid less than men is, on it’s face, meant to be divisive.
The idea that our Constitution was founded on Christian principles is, on it’s face, meant to be divisive.

  10. The idea that marriage can be split into two parts… straight and gay is, on it’s face, meant to be divisive. Especially when what we’re discussing is shared equality with each other. Listen to the rhetoric closely, people.

    1. Max-1 wrote: “The idea that marriage can be split into two parts… straight and gay is, on it’s face, meant to be divisive. Especially when what we’re discussing is shared equality with each other. Listen to the rhetoric closely, people.”

The crux of the lie here is trying to claim that there are two types of people: straight and gay. This does not exist. There is a continuum of human sexuality. What causes people to be sexually aroused varies because of their life experiences and the choices that they make. Sometimes people try gay sex and go back to being heterosexual. Sometimes they decide they like homosexual relations better. Sometimes they decide they like both. Some people become sexually aroused by naked children. Some are aroused by animals like horses and donkeys. Some people develop sexual fetishes for feet of a certain type, or hands of a certain type. From a biological perspective, the sex drive is meant purely for reproductive purposes. It is a driving force that brings the male and female together for the purpose of procreation. Any purpose other than that is a deviation and a mistake. This is partly why the psychologists considered homosexuality to be a mental disorder until the gay activists scared them into removing it from that category.

The wrangling of words to make gay marriage a civil rights issue is pure sophistry. Homosexuality is not normal. It is not natural. Those who engage in same sex relations bruise their inner conscience and then they try to blame society for the emptiness they feel. Some hope that if society accepts their behavior, if gay marriage were made legal, then they would feel as fulfilled and happy as others. But because same sex relations is contrary to the biological purpose of the sex drive, the imprimatur of government upon their unnatural relations will not ease their conscience and make them feel better about what they do. The unhappiness, the depression, etc. is caused by the unnatural behavior itself, and societal acceptance is never going to change that. It will only encourage more people to try the invented hedonistic purpose of sex instead of fulfilling their biological purpose to procreate.

There will always be a sub group with a majority that flies in opposition of the majority of the overall population. The law represents, in the case, the majority of the overall population.

Your tying this to natural laws and biological formulas sounds a lot like times gone by when racial differences dictated what people could and could not do. Gays benefiting from the civil aspects of marriage does nothing to change the concept of marriage between a man and a woman, unless of course the credibility of their union depends on everyone being the same, and doing the same thing. Review your history books and see where you are going.

When a subset of a people, those that believe in fairy tales, who have the freedom, right, and protection of believing in those fairy tales, enforce their peculiar beliefs on others who have the right, freedom, and protection of not having to believe in this or that fairy tale, that amounts to bullying and tyranny. No judge, no law, no body forced these clowns to work in a position where they would be going against their beliefs. Regardless of all the mental gymnastics, philosophizing, and debate, what this comes down to is a private group attempting to override the public law. What makes this heinous is that they are not dealing with themselves, their families, or others where they might make an argument for privacy, but with other citizens protected by the laws that they are breaking. Impeach them, get them out of the public arena, and back to their tribes where they can exclude those they don’t like and include those who agree with them.

There is no place in the public arena for this sort of mumbo jumbo. Religion isn’t the only force that gets out of hand.

    1. issac wrote: “The law represents, in the case, the majority of the overall population.”

The Kentucky State law does represent the majority of the overall population, but the presumed “law” of the U.S. Supreme Court does not. The gay marriage “law” represents the will of the elite aristocrats.

  12. Maybe we should have a capitation and some kind of equitable devolution of “America” into lesser parts, like what happened to Russia and the CIS after the end of Sovietism. The tiny homosexual minority and their apologists can have New York City and Miami and San Francisco and Hollywood, and we can keep flyover. Free migration for a time period, people can decide to live where they want, nobody gets ethnically cleansed or harmed in the great sort. Amity between the pro gay states and the other ones, just like we get along fine with Sweden or wherever the gay vanguard thinks lies utopia. But they can’t dictate our “democracy” with their “individual righs” after that.

But: banks get nationalized by the devolved states. No more US dollar. Then again, when it dies all that will probably happen anyways.

  13. Mike, you may not have understood me.

The First Amendment, is the part of the COnstitution, that establishes secular humanism as the official dogma of “America.”

The funny thing, is I heard that from a bible thumper long ago and I laughed. Now I understand exactly what he meant and it has indubitable historical accuracy, when you consider the commonality of the Enlightenment beliefs among our founds. Chief among which was indifferentism, the notion that all religious are more or less equal, and equally bad, for the most part. Indifferentism is one of the planks of Freemasonry, and if you know anything about Freemasonry, you know that it was integral to the French and American revolutions.

  14. Secularism is another tool of capitalism, to smack the Church back into place, in france, to eradicate social justice customs of old Europe like the ban on usury, and make way for finance and the exploitation of the worker and the masses of consumers out there.

We see where the failure of Catholicism has left the continent of Europe, enslaved to the bankers of today that run the “EU”

Mock religion all you want fools, a simple study of human societies would show that religious families are uniformly more fecund than secular ones. Ergo, “the meek shall inherit the Earth.”

  15. I could care less about socalled gay rights. I am concerned with majority rights. The American experiment presumes to balance majority rights against individual rights. The reality is that individual rights are a tool of a rising bourgeoisie to attach the privileges of Church and aristocracy.

Today a lot of American peasants and rednecks adhere to their faith, because it is a good way of any generation passing down cultural values that preserve the common good. So I applaud them for their goodness and their faith. Homosexuals can understand this too, the “LBGT” construct is just a meme of political correctness to keep other gays from wandering off your doctrinal reservation.

The common good is preserved more by democracy than by “individual rights” any day of the week. “Individual rights’ are just a battering ram of international capitalism right now. You either get it or you don’t.

Marx understood this, ironically. And the Bolshies did too. Look at Lenin’s essay “Imperialism as a late stage of capitalism” and it well describes our age.

But those guys were a tool themselves, after a fashion, an ideological shortcut and historical oddity that collapsed before the amassed wealth of capitalism and its global mercenaries, and left global capitalism stronger than ever.

Gay rights is a piddly, irrelevant sideshow, but a useful foil to disrupt the kind of civic feeling that yet remains among patriotic flyover states, to whip their asses and try and keep them in line.
