ISIS Observes Easter By Reportedly Crucifying Indian Catholic Priest and Massacring Christian Women and Children At Playground

32844ABB00000578-0-image-m-18_1458819425622ISIS-linked extremists in Yemen has reportedly carried out their threat to crucify a captured priest, Father Thomas Uzhunnalil, 56, after he was taken hostage during a massacre at a Catholic home. Some 15 people were killed on March 4th after four Islamic extremists posed as visiting family members and then murdered the occupants, including four Indian nuns, two Yemeni female staff members, eight elderly residents and a guard. Also, in Pakistan, at least 70 people are dead in an ISIS attack during the Easter holiday that targeted a playground filled with mothers and children. A Taliban faction Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, which has sworn allegiance to ISIS, took “credit” for the Easter bombing — using bombs loaded with ball bearings to maximize the killing of the children and mothers gathered in the park for the holiday. Islamic extremists who are willing to riot and kill for any slight of their religion have little problem with targeting religious buildings and holidays of other faiths. While such inconsistencies are hardly surprising for a group willing to crucify priests and shoot elderly nuns, the belief that such grotesque acts please Allah remains inconceivable to most people.

Father Uzhunnalil was kidnapped by ISIS gunmen in Yemen three weeks ago. Archbishop of Vienna, Christoph Cardinal Schönborn told a congregation gathered in St. Stephen’s Cathedral in the Austrian capital that the priest had been crucified. Some media sites however are still saying that the fate of this priest remains uncertain. The location is a refuge for the elderly operated by Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity in main southern city Aden.  ISIS targeted people of God who not only took vows of poverty but took assignments in one of the most dangerous and impoverished areas of the world.

What is equally disturbing with the violence in Pakistan is that, rather than forcing a period of reflection on the rise of Islamic extremism, thousands took to the street to praise the murderer of a moderate politician who was killed by his bodyguard for criticizing the blasphemy laws. The streets were filled with Muslims demanding the adoption of medieval Islamic Sharia laws, including the death penalty for those who insult or defame Islam.

  1. Reblogged this on Bennet Kelley's Clippings & More and commented:
“Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so . . .”

This is no victory for ISIS, but let it be a call to summon our resolve to stand firm against ignorance and bigotry wherever it is found.

  2. @KC Fleming

You said: “Obama wants to import more of these killers here. I wonder why.”

You didn’t see the bigger picture, did you? It’s incredibly obvious. The “migration” of “refugees” (when we should be coining the term rapefugees is not a migration; it’s an invasion. They are using Western sensibilities, the laws, and use racism as a card to gain an advantage over the natives who live there.

That’s a part of the bigger picture. The bigger picture is the end goal of Islamicization of the world. That’s the reason why.

When Obama was infuriated and demanded that the American public start disarming themselves because of the mass shootings that occurred, it never occurred to us why. Now, because of the “immigrants” that attempt to create upheaval in Europe, that’s about one of the major factors as to why Obama was gunning for gun control laws. Had he succeeded, we would have found ourselves having to deal with the “migrants”.

    @J

Which is worse? Be fearful and letting the opposition steamroll you and your families, rape the others, and violate others’ most basic human rights or fight back, criticize them even though death is around the corner. Geert Wilders is a politician. He created a film called FITNA. Since FITNA showed itself to the world, Wilders received many death threats. He had armed policemen shadowing him for the next ten years of his life. He used to be a part of a political party in the Nederlands, created a new one called the PVV. With the party of PVV, he aims to limit the “Morrocan problem”, denaturalize criminals, and make the Nederlands safer. He also proposed that Muslims who attempt to subvert or curtail Dutch law should be expelled.

Frankly, if the “migrant” problem continues, we will see Europe rising up again with Poland in the lead. They will exact a violent “Crusade” against all Muslims. They will kill in order to survive. Who knows? We might see the rise of the Knights Templar, the Teutonic Knights, and many other religious orders springing up to defend their lands once again. Poland has never forgotten Islam, the battle of Vienna, Jan Sobieski saving the day, and returning Europe to normalcy.

Poland was the guardian of Europe back then. Today, Poland is rising faster with its economy, its armies, and is ready to attack the moment their “finest hour” is shown. They will win like last time.

  3. Fudd they will get wacked …. they cant speak up. If they really came here as real refugees. Then all their blood and relatives or purported innocents to such will get wacked. If we are waiting for the “moderate” muslim to speak…..i don’t think he or she can. I think we are facing …the unsurvielable. It is called fear. And it is real and evil. Most the time “rumor has it” right. Just like the whole don’t you dare nark culture. Hell it is human natural society condition enshrined in our own constitution….which only allows the harassment of blood during the lifetime of the target. Moderate muslims just like modern day whistle blowers cant speak up.

  4. The problem is that moderate Muslims who are opposed to the nuts get killed. Even in the US, they had a conference of moderate Muslims who oppose the jihadists, and they were under threats of death. I wonder how many Christians would be willing to risk their lives if they had similar threats against them.

The US and the UK need to crack down on any foreign Muslims who preach and advocate strict Sharia law. They need to be deported ASAP and all their property taken.

  5. Muslims who are against the radicals need to speak up. Few do. Let us hear from some.

  6. Just remember , Obama is doing exactly what he was put there to do. He has accomplished most of what he set out to do. All with the goal of permanently transforming America away from the republic our Founders intended to establish. All with the blind and stupid support of people who could care less about doing the proper and moral thing in any situation. God forgive us for our complacency and ignorance in the face of godless actions.

  7. As I posted before, even if the vast majority of Islamic adherents are not terrorist, at some point those who would perform these atrocities in name of Islam will accomplish their association of Islam to terror.
Without a huge, widespread and passionate condemnation of these acts by prominent Islamic leaders, the world can only look upon these things as something that most Muslims may not do themselves, but have no problem with it being done in their name by proxy.
Here is an overview by Ben Shapiro, who claims that this sentiment is not a small minority of the Muslim population, but a rather large minority:

    1. Gary T
      You’re right on.
Silence is not golden. It is a type of complicity which tars the community.

It’s interesting how, once the silence is broken by “authority”, so many others feel a freedom if not relief in expressing condemnation of the offense. I remember a sister slapping her bully brother, it broke the “paralysis” of the others. I have no respect for Rev. Al, but he is one who does break through and people find their voice as misguided as it may be.

Imagine an imam who travels to sites and calls upon “his” community to vigilance. May need the equivalent of the “pope-mobile” with US Marshalls for protection. But, it would be more than worth the expense.

  8. Renegade – just skip to the British papers. You will get in much better news coverage of the U.S. I do agree with you though.

  9. The problem that many countries are faced with is how to deal with a religious movement that refuses to play by the rules of civilization. If one uses force against them, there are many who would denounce that as being against freedom and democracy. I think that is misguided. Lincoln used military force and violence to suppress insurrection and those who advocated it, yet he is revered as a democrat and great President. for places such as Pakistan, I would suggest that having a large demonstration in support of radical Islam is an opportunity that should not go to waste. They should use our F-16s to send them to Allah in as large a number as their ammo allows.

In other places where there is not a robust law enforcement agency to deal with such terrorists, a counter terrorism group should be established to kill the radical Islamics and spread terror and death in their mosques and homes. That is why I have NO problem with US airstrikes that may kill innocents as well as the perps. If you live in a war zone, and don’t leave, then it is too bad, but that will be a cost of living there.

  10. When the chief executive starts showing spine with dramatic even overly dramatic action, then we’ll see communities stand forth.
    For instance:
Immediately go to the scene of the killing of the shopkeeper who wished a Happy Easter and tell the community of faith it must step up and condemn the action
Use the same rhetoric he employed for the white on black he is so fond of.
Start to use RICO investigations of the imams preaching insurrection. If this isn’t a religious war of sorts, which he dodges artfully, then it’s organized crime.
Call together powerful Muslim leadership and clearly tell them “this must stop.”
Front Al Jazeera America when it goes belly up in April and steer the news to show the moderates reasons and methods to stand up against the radicals. BTW, I get better news (factual) coverage from it and BBC than any cable or broadcast US station.

  11. These filthy ISIS pigs will go straight to hell and meet with 13 demon virgins to torture their souls. May God send them each straight to hell.

Donald Trump is the only man with the big guts to help with this task.

The rest of these leaders in the US and the world are total worms slimming back into the dirt to hide except Egypt and Putin.

  12. Eleazer, I have often said that change must come from within the ME. But moderates are in the minority and face jail or death for speaking out. The extremists are better organized, more numerous, and in control of the government, judicial system, and military.

That’s where I’m stuck. How can a few speak sense to the brainwashed? When my dad witnessed the beheading of 2 gay men in Chop Chop Square in UAE, the crowd thought it was quite good fun, and deserved punishment. How do you change that?

Maybe they should force stream Mr Rogers, The Brady Bunch, Star Trek, and Flipper for a few decades to change hearts.

  13. Absolutely heartbreaking.

The belief that this kind of violence is pleasing to Allah is inconceivable to people with Western values . Only a few sentences later you remark on the outpouring of praise for the murder of a moderate who criticized blasphemy laws. Extremism is entrenched in the Middle East, and moderate reformers face death for speaking out.

We must be firm in pushing back against extremism. Look at what France, Germany, and Belgium have suffered for allowing extremists to pour in. Brussels is now a hotbed for terrorism similar to Syria.

We want immigrants like Malala, not the people who shot her.

  14. War in defense against these barbarians is being engaged and likely will of necessity increase in the years to come but we cannot win this war unless we can get the moderate elements of Islam to stand up themselves.

When you are fighting an ideology you must counter with ideology. The thinking of radical Islam must be defeated by the more peaceful Muslims. In the final analysis, in my opinion, it is the only path to victory.

  15. Fear of Islam is neither irrational nor unreasonable. We need to face facts. A number of Muslim reformers are working hard to get people to face facts but they have to live in the US or Canada to survive and even then they are subjected to attacks from “liberals” for being racist and bigoted and are the subject of death threats from co religious.

  16. I watched from the NJ Turnpike as the towers fell, I was in law enforcement for 30 years and wondered what kind of person could do this. I tried very hard to find a book about Islam which would explain this. I finally found a yellow soft covered book written by a Muslim convert to Christianity, the name escapes me, sorry. He had to leave Egypt because they gave him 3 choices, convert to Islam, pay tribute or die. He was attacked and stabbed once, survived and thought best to leave the country.

Many things he said in the book about what to watch for have since come true. One of the things that he wrote sticks in my mind. The religion is pounded into them since birth, trust none of them and the Koran writes “go where your weak, stay quiet and kill the enemy when he is not watching and you are strong”. Something to that affect.

Now I’m not saying I’m a scholar like some of you guys. I’m just a regular guy who loves this nation and served her proudly and at my age can remember her better days. I’m concerned for my grandson’s and their children. In my opinion our nation has been weakened by unscrupulous politicians and it’s time that guys like you scholars got involved and ran for office? Because if the Koran is followed we are in for a very bad time!

  17. K.C. , The reason why is simply that we have a president without judgement and decision making ability.
Just a casual look at Europe would be enough for a child to realize importing people who’s beliefs are antithetical to everything American is a disaster waiting to happen.

There is something here I find very confusing, and I suspect that Obama has a very different vision for American than the people who live here.

  18. Killing and harming people is so easy. Helping others is difficult and challenging. Hence the laziest people try to put killing and oppressing in a good light by justifying it with religion, so they will be glorified for pulling triggers, slicing, maiming, directing drones and bombs. All such heinous atrocities need to be condemned no matter who the perpetrators and victims are.

  19. ISIS wants a war w/ Christians. They need to learn the axiom, “Be careful what you wish for, it may come true.”
