There was an interesting interview recently with Chicago’s Ex-Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson who explained why he was immediately suspicious of the account of actor Jussie Smollett. The first thing that Johnson noticed was that Smollett went through an alleged vicious attack where bleach was thrown on him but still held on to his Subway sandwich. Johnson said that victims usually drop everything in such an attack. Of course, Smollett could note that real professionals like Peter Clemenza always remember to “leave the gun, take the cannoli.”
Johnson told NewsNationNow’s “Morning in America” that Smollett left his home around 2 a.m. which is a bit odd to go and buy the sandwich.
“OK, that’s fine. He comes back and gets attacked in a hate crime, supposed hate crime, and during all this scuffle – they poured bleach on him and all of this – when he got up and went into his apartment building he still had that Subway sandwich with him. That doesn’t happen.”
He added real victims do not do that. They usually drop what they have “because they’re afraid.” Not to mention when the victim claims to have been doused in an unknown chemical: “This guy had the sandwich in his hand, never been touched. So that was a real tip and a clue to us that something was amiss.”
Johnson also added an interesting second point that he still had the noose around his neck when police arrived: “I don’t think there are many Black people in America that would have a noose around their neck, and wouldn’t immediately take it off.”
Of course, a good Subway sandwich may be like a good cannoli, it is a shame to waste:

One presumes, at some point, the American “sleeping giant” will awaken and do just that, while taking profound and decisive corrective action.
Most professionals who work with people a long time, especially in law enforcement have a sixth sense (good old fashioned experience) when something does not smell right. I have not followed this case closely but from what I have seen and read, the case is bizarre.
My oldest son works with a large contractor building a huge operation for a well-recognized national company. There were numerous “racial events” that had occurred on the job site. Each time, the job site closed down for investigation, over a thousand workers were sent home. Finally, the company told the contractor that each closing the site would cost in excess of 100,000 per day in fines. They hired private investigators, set up cameras, and waited. They caught the person. Just to be certain, they allowed the individual who committed the false racial crimes to do it a couple of times more (but this time did not shut down the construction project) so that they had sufficient evidence that they were 100% sure.
It turned out that the individual who was faking the crime scenes was from the exact ethnic group that was supposedly being targeted. They arrested him and banned him permanently from working in the industry. He was escorted from the site in cuffs. I am sure that criminal charges followed. He managed to shut down a massive construction project at the cost of millions of dollars of damage, loss of wages for working construction workers, all for a hoax.
Fanning the flames of this B.S. is why the traditional and cable news media are circling the drain. I have noticed numerous reputable journalists are ditching traditional avenues and setting up their own operations, podcasts, newsletters, websites.

NYC is substantially to the left, as is the NYT and most of the media. Most MSM will not write stories like this though this type of news represents large segments of the country. Small sites will report such information, but they are never widely read, and even if the information is important, the left first evaluates its significance to their political aims. That includes the MSM, so they will frequently exclude stories of this nature. That is one of the reasons the leftists on our blog are so ignorant. They are force-fed leftist propaganda. Those on the other side have to search out the news, and the search engines are not that helpful.

I am an attorney-litigator. It is my OPINION that Kim Foxx wanted to clear the chalkboard of this matter as soon as possible, to prevent further unravelling of Smollett’s story in front of everyone. It backfired.
