In academia, one of the most common criticisms in research and discussions is that correlation does not mean causation. It refers to the logical fallacy for some who draw a cause-and-effect relationship between two events. The logical fallacy is captured in the Latin phrase cum hoc ergo propter hoc (‘with this, therefore because of this’). With the horrific attacks on Israel this week, some well-known commentators have been criticized for using the killing of hundreds by Hamas as a criticism of conservative figures or Republicans in general. That includes the Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin who appeared to blame the GOP for inviting the attack and Professor Laurence Tribe who suggested (and later retracted) that the war was actually a “wag-the-dog” operation by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to distract from corruption allegations.
Rubin (who goes by the moniker “Jennifer Truthful, Not Neutral Rubin”) immediately attempted to use the attack as another attack on Republicans: “How about this: With US House in chaos and US military promotions on hold, Hamas struck. Republicans’ weakness invites terror.”
Putting aside the effort to use this tragedy as a political cudgel domestically, Rubin ignores the fact that the motion to vacate the chair succeeded due to a unanimous Democratic vote and just eight dissenting Republicans. The Democrats wanted to vacate the chair even though McCarthy was being criticized by the dissenters for working with them and they will now likely receive a far more strident speaker.
Rubin has also called for expelling Republican members, who voted against certifying the 2020 election. She further declared that “we have to collectively, in essence, burn down the Republican Party. We have to level them because if there are survivors, if there are people who weather this storm, they will do it again.”
The Washington Post has repeatedly failed to take down or correct columns containing false claims by Rubin. Instead, it has run her calls to end impartiality and neutrality in journalism.
Now Rubin is suggesting that Hamas decided to launch this massive attack because there is an acting Speaker in the House until next week. It appears that Hamas was just waiting for the motion to vacate to pass.
Laurence Tribe immediately used the massacre to attack Netanyahu. Citing the Washington Post, Tribe wrote “Is Netanyahu wagging the dog of war to take attention away from his own war on the independent judiciary? Can anyone put that past him?”
The response was fast and furious. It was even too much for figures like Keith Olbermann who condemned Tribe stating, “Well this is a moronic and indefensible POV.”
What was striking is that the media finally called out Tribe, who has regularly posted bizarre legal theories and personal attacks against conservative figures, including attacking Bill Barr (erroneously) over his faith. On MSNBC and other outlets, Tribe regularly makes profane or personal attacks against those who hold opposing views of constitutional interpretation, including myself. These attacks include false assertions that had to be later corrected.
These controversies highlight the need to restore an element of maturity and civility to commentary. The “everything-goes” mentality has now taken hold of major media outlets, which regularly feature trash talking and sensational claims. If the target of these attacks is a conservative or Republican, there is a sense of license to remove the safeties in public engagements.
Once again, it is possible to restore a modicum of civility and accuracy in our public discourse. All it takes is for people of good faith to turn away from the rage and return reason in our commentary.

News report today:
Israeli soldiers shared details of unimaginable atrocities committed in a community where dozens of victims, including about 40 babies, were massacred by Hamas terrorists. Israel’s rescue service said 200 Israelis were found dead in Kfar Aza, i24 News reported. Reporters with i24 News toured the “scene of devastation” in the community of about 700, where soldiers worked to remove bodies of victims who were brutally murdered in their homes. Some soldiers said they found babies with their heads cut off, according to i24 News.
“The community’s cars, parked outside, were completely torched. And it was just a small part of the destruction, with no exact number yet of how many people were murdered, as bodies are still being collected and removed from the homes,” the report said. More than 70 terrorists invaded the community and butchered residents, leaving naught but a “smell of death” behind, i24 News reported. “It’s not a war, it’s not a battlefield. You see the babies, the mother, the father, in their bedrooms, in their protection rooms, and how the terrorists killed them,” IDF Major General Itai Veruv said. “It’s a massacre.”
More propaganda whining BS – EVERYONE KNOWS MILITARY CONSCRIPTION IS MANDATORY IN ISRAEL. ANOTHER BIG FAT CRYBABY LIE.
YOU’RE ALL SOLDIERS DUMMY.
Given the celebrations of Hamas/Palestinian barbarism at Harvard I have come to the opinion that employers should beware of recruiting there.
In my opinion:
Recruiting at Harvard is like fishing in a septic tank.
You won’t like what you catch on your dinner plate.
I saw that too. I grieve for the mental and spiritual destruction of my alma mater. Destroyed by the woke death cult.
Who is surprised, if you are any standard case, you no doubt helped drive them to it with your insane statements.
The whole world is gone if you don’t wipe out hamas and hezzbollah was one of your latest. oct 10 834 pm
Way to go genius.
Update: Harvard President Claudine Gay has finally issued a statement, at end of the third day after the terrorist massacres of Israelis, a bit late but better late than never. I think the first paragraph is pretty good, it’s not a moral-equivalence or mealy-mouthed thingy one might have expected. It doesn’t make an absurd call for a cease fire or bemoan “cycles of violence.”
A Statement from President Claudine Gay
October 10, 2023
As the events of recent days continue to reverberate, let there be no doubt that I condemn the terrorist atrocities perpetrated by Hamas. Such inhumanity is abhorrent, whatever one’s individual views of the origins of longstanding conflicts in the region.
Let me also state, on this matter as on others, that while our students have the right to speak for themselves, no student group — not even 30 student groups — speaks for Harvard University or its leadership.
We will all be well served in such a difficult moment by rhetoric that aims to illuminate and not inflame. And I appeal to all of us in this community of learning to keep this in mind as our conversations continue.
Claudine Gay
President, Harvard University
A Harvard Doctoral Student issued one as well….in the WSJ
Harvard Shrugs at Jew-Hatred
The university’s “Palestine Solidarity Groups,” a collection of some 30 student groups, issued a statement exculpating the terrorists for their acts of murder, rape, kidnapping and mayhem. “We, the undersigned student organizations,” it began, “hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence.” The signatories—groups such as the Harvard Islamic Society and Harvard Law School Justice for Palestine—made clear that they stand shoulder-to-shoulder with this “resistance,” fashionable doublespeak for those feverishly working to wipe Jews off the face of the earth. Harvard isn’t alone: Some 50 student organizations at the University of California, Berkeley declared their “unwavering support for the resistance in Gaza.”….
As a grandson of an Auschwitz survivor and a student of German-Jewish history, I was always incredulous that highly cultured Germans, the people of Goethe and Beethoven, could have displayed sympathy and even enthusiasm for the Nazi slaughter of the Jews. Now I believe it. I have seen it happen here.
Mr. Kimche is a doctoral student in Jewish history at Harvard

” “We, the undersigned student organizations,” it began, “hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence.” ”
Well, how about that, the mirror of what I encountered here, as the big talkers blamed it all, entirely, women children and dying babies in the gaza strip on, the gaza strip.
Two big liars, a reflection of each other, no adults in the mirror – emotional estrogen doused children.
@Estovir: Re: “I was always incredulous that highly cultured Germans, the people of Goethe and Beethoven, could have displayed sympathy and even enthusiasm for the Nazi slaughter of the Jews.” ….as was my father-in-law of blessed memory, as well a survivor of the Shoah. He made that observation often, during the events of the ISIS horror show. and during the many confrontations Israel had with his adversaries over the years. He passed two years ago at the age of 95. Were he with us today he would not have been surprised at the response your comment addresses.
Nice statement but it doesn’t alter what you will get if you fish in the septic tank.
Those atrocity-loving students may not speak for Harvard [maybe] but they certainly speak for a substantial number of Harvard students.
The damage is done.
It’s not just Harvard though. Apparently most or all student organizations have similarly succumbed to the insanity. My daughter just sent me a statement of the NYU student bar, and it is the same: blaming Israel for Israelis being butchered.
Time to take down your Black Lives Matter signs.

Oldman–
That wasn’t meant for you. I thought it would appear as a general remark at the top of the blog. Sorry if there is any misunderstanding.
ROFL – Strange how Freudian slips and happenstance fit perfectly together. It’s not like we don’t have a mirror image there, so the mistake was not a mistake.
“It doesn’t make an absurd call for a cease fire . . .”
Wait a few weeks. The “proportional response” cowards will crawl out from under their rocks.
None of those weasels are naming the head of the snake: Iran.
Sam
You forgot Qatar. They donate a lot in DC, so it’s no wonder you’re ignorant.
Funny how the first time you rubes say it when the homeland is on a rampage and they aren’t kissing your feet. The same has been going on for decades and now those nutters are in power.
Probably should have said it at the bar mitzvah
In terms of the number of Israelis killed on the first day, this was like eight or nine times the death toll of 9/11 as a proportion of Israel’s population. We lost about 3,000 that day, which was horrible.
Imagine if the death toll had been eight or nine times higher, plus thousands more – including women, children, and the elderly – removed to the captivity of terrorists to be tortured, raped, and executed at will.
Imagine if your population was one fourth Israel’s, and since 2008 you lost 24X the number the Israeli’s lost.
That brings the death toll per citizen to 96X the losses of Israel since 2008.
IMAGINE THAT, A CONTINUOUS 911 FOR A DECADE AND A HALF.
Thanks for playing games.

If Hamas would stop slaughtering Israelis, they wouldn’t get killed. All they have to do is not start a conflict. It’s that easy. But they’re so addicted to killing, raping, maiming, and terrorizing, that they can’t help themselves.
Their saying is “we love death more than the Jews love life.” They act accordingly. Their whole purpose in life is to kill Jews and die in the process so they can go enjoy the company of 72 virgins. They’ll be rudely surprised to see it’s not 72 virgins but 72 demons.
Just to let you know I don’t buy their propaganda and I don’t buy your propaganda.
You should know why, and probably do, though I don’t expect you to say it or even think about it.
LOL
One might look at the saying you claim is theirs and wonder why the crushed ghetto or “open air prison” as the other side so likes to call it, is filled with people that might prefer death over the miserable existence Israel (and other proxies) have kept them in.
I don’t have to wonder why that saying might be attributed to them.
Everyone loves the elite money soaked goods every life. Everyone hates the bitter despondent ghetto life. It’s not a big mystery nor does it say something bad about gazans. It also doesn’t mean what you tried to imply it does. Sadly, gung ho blindness and partisan viewpoint allows that. The other side also uses it – wow our people are so with us they’d prefer to die more than the enemy wants to live. So it’s a triple bladed sword.
I do see that people claim, even Israel claims, to control almost all access to the gaza strip, so it should be a brimming cornucopia of happiness and wealth, as we know the tender mercies of the life lovers. LOL
But it is not.
Israel has announced and you have applauded it will choke the life from the gaza strip with no water no food no electricity and it has already implemented.
LOL That’s a FACT.
Now, any more propaganda rebuttals ?
Cool heads should prevail and the chance of that is zero.
Obviously things enter the gaza strip Israel has no control over. I will look into that.
If generally food water and electricity are not major components of that then we have a sort of partial answer for why attacks occur don’t we.
24 to 1, the love of life.
LOL
You want to play games?
That chart says nothing about the casualties that identify them as civilians versus terrorists. It says nothing about the male:female ratio of the casualties.
It says nothing about how many of the casualties were males of fighting age. It says nothing about how many of the casualties were caused by Hamas rockets falling short and landing in Gaza. But you don’t want anyone to know this.
Eric – Shakdi is a low-IQ commenter. He reasons that whatever side sustains fewer casualties are the Nazis, no matter the two sides’ philosophies, tactics, methods or which side started the war. By his reasoning, as soon as Germany suffered one more casualty than an Ally nation, the Ally nation became the Nazis instead of the Germans. This is the stuff of juveniles, of make-believe, not to be taken seriously.
Hamas is very much like Nazi Germany. Equally anti-Semitic. Equally bent on annihilation of the Jews. Bent on the destruction of everything good, and putting in its place an evil ideology and a hell on Earth. Israel, by contrast, always just wants to live in peace without being attacked; it has no desire to eliminate any of its neighbors from the map, whereas it has to live in a neighborhood where its neighbors seek to eliminate it from existence. Israel fights every war as a war of survival.
Israel’s contributions to the world in fields of art, science, technology, music, agriculture, water usage, medicine, and many others, have been a blessing to all humankind. What has Hamas contributed? Death, destruction, rape, mutilation, torture, evil, evil, evil. But in Shakdi’s mind, the day the Palestinian casualty count exceeds the Israeli casualty count, – poof, magic, abra-cadabra – the Israelis are the Nazis and the Palestinians are the good guys. It’s really that childish. My advice to you: ignore him.
You’re just full of it and you know it. There isn’t a chance in hell hamas could eliminate israel from the map but the opposite could occur rather quickly. Yes, your heroes could wipe gaza from the map one could say almost overnight.
With those two positions, ADULTS understand what propaganda occurs afterwards.
The side that can’t lose whines they want us all gone. The side that will lose no matter what screams we will wipe them out.
Then the side that can’t lose wipes the crap out of the side that is and will, and says, they’re terrible people (implying they all need to die, of course), and then , like you said, along with your buds today, any of them that do die is their fault, it’s on them.
LOL
What really burned all of you is the 24x to 1 death ratio – now you’re all begging for sympathy still.
HAHAHAHAHHAH
I don’t have to make up things or lie about you, like you just did about me. 24 to 1 is NOT the same as JUST OVER 1 to 1
Now, you’re a liar.
I wonder if you are also brain dead. Here: ” Hamas is very much like Nazi Germany. Equally anti-Semitic. Equally bent on annihilation of the Jews. Bent on the destruction of everything good .. BLAH BLAH BLAH”
Okay, so we have a tiny strip surrounded by your tribe clan whining crybaby group you scream and wail about – you’ve murdered 24X of those you accuse of hating you, for decades, then , like a GENIUS, you claim they hate the murdering monsters slaughtering their people that surround them and just cut off the electric and food and water….
I mean you’re a total JOKE bub.
A TOTALLY BLIND IDIOT COULDN’T BUY YOUR STUPIDITY FOR HALF A PENCE.
Sorry charlie, the ‘ol anti semitism is so pathetic a joke but it’s all you goofballs have huh. SURROUNDED and slaughtered by their enemy, and you are DUMB enough to scream hitler and nazis.
Also, “Bent on the destruction of everything good …” is pure partisan BS. Of course one realizes you are stroking your own ego while screaming the enemy is the devil. Jews, israel, everything good, me good….
No, sorry, you’ve got half the watts I do if you’re lucky.
Here’s another one ” Israel fights every war as a war of survival. ”
ROFL
Oh boy the crybaby insane crap never ends. just the dumb as a rock lying demoncrats on high screaming it’s the end of democracy. Hey, at least you’re so smoked in the noggin you fit right in. No offense.
Let’s harken back to the NAZI ideology and the planned EUGENICS, and take a peek at what the NAZIS said:
oldmanfromkansas the jew “Israel’s contributions to the world in fields of art, science, technology, music, agriculture, water usage, medicine, and many others, have been a blessing to all humankind. What has Hamas contributed? Death, destruction”
“in Shakdi’s mind, the day the Palestinian casualty count exceeds the Israeli ” (since it’s 24x to 1, yes it actually does, in fact)
THERE WE HAVE IT THE EUGENICS OF THE FULL BLOWN NAZI.
your new name is NAZIJEWMAN, congratulations, nazi
Anyone who “LOL” repeatedly at their own comments is LOCO. IIRC Shakdi went on an anti-Semitic tirade months ago on this forum (while he LOL all the way through it) which showed readers he was and still is a low-life SOB. He lit into me for calling him an anti-Semite which didn’t even phase me. Since then I just ignore his idiocies.
As stated, I am not Jewish nor Israeli. Going on world history, Jews/Judaism (People of Judah) have occupied their land since at a minimum 1450 BC when the Torah was written (which includes the Book of Numbers). Islam was created ~ 700 AD. Additionally, Palestine was never an established people nor geographic region. It became a designation during the Ottoman Empire, ~ 1500 – 1900 AD.
Islam and Palestine are late to the Middle East. Judaism predates them both by a wide swath of time. They have no claim to anything that Jews or Christians touched beforehand.
Israel today IMO should take possession of Gaza and West Bank by the same methods Hamas uses: war. Let the stronger prevail. Every country in existence today used those same methods to establish their boundaries. Life and survival are like that. If Hamas loses in a war with Israel, which is most certain, they can slither to Egypt from whence they originally came: Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt or Iran or where ever terrorists are embraced. Democrats could likely add them to their BLM ANTIFA brown shirts list of hire-a-terrorist.
Israel should let the “Palestinians” know before they annihilate them: “leave now. we are taking Gaza and West Bank by force per historical boundaries set forth by the Book of Numbers Chapter 34.” The western boundary was designated to be the edge of the “Great Sea”, aka the Mediterranean Sea. It would be far more civilized of Israel to warn “Palestinians” than what they/Hamas have done to Jews. Besides, Jews were provided that land millennia before Muslims even existed
My dates regarding Judaism may be slightly off +/- century or two
The Historical and Legal Contexts of Israel’s Borders
https://jcpa.org/article/historical-legal-contexts-israels-borders1/
From 1511 to 1917, “Palestine” was part of the Ottoman Empire, although the term did not denote a defined people or area. What today is understood as Palestine was never geographically a single sovereign entity, state, or internationally recognized sovereign. In fact, geographically the area called Palestine was not administered in Ottoman times as a single unit. World War I resulted in the end of the Ottoman Empire and Turkish claims to far-flung Ottoman territories
Book of Numbers, Chapter 34
The LORD spoke to Moses:
Give the Israelites this order: When you enter the land of Canaan, this is the territory that shall fall to you as your heritage—the land of Canaan with its boundaries:
Your southern boundary will be at the wilderness of Zin along the border of Edom; on the east your southern boundary will begin at the end of the Salt Sea.
Then your boundary will turn south of the Akrabbim Pass and cross Zin. Terminating south of Kadesh-barnea, it extends to Hazar-addar and crosses to Azmon.
Then the boundary will turn from Azmon to the Wadi of Egypt and terminate at the Sea.
For your western boundary you will have the Great Sea with its coast; this will be your western boundary.
This will be your boundary on the north: from the Great Sea you will draw a line to Mount Hor,
and draw it from Mount Hor to Lebo-hamath, with the boundary terminating at Zedad.
Then the boundary extends to Ziphron and terminates at Hazar-enan. This will be your northern boundary.
For your eastern boundary you will draw a line from Hazar-enan to Shepham.
From Shepham the boundary will go down to Riblah, east of Ain, and descending further, the boundary will strike the ridge on the east side of the Sea of Chinnereth;
then the boundary will descend along the Jordan and terminate with the Salt Sea.
This will be your land, with the boundaries that surround it.

” He lit into me for calling him an anti-Semite which didn’t even phase me” LOL
Apparently you still remember and it hurt bad. HAHAHAHAHA
That’s all you morons have. Now whine some more and cry about LOL and HAHAHAHAAHAHA
“Israel today IMO should take possession of Gaza and West Bank by the same methods Hamas uses: war. ”
Yeah that’s fine I already addressed that. Who are the enemies once gaza is wiped off the face of the map – the VERY THING EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS IS THE DESIRE OF THE RAH RAH JEW JEW JEW JEW ISRAEL CROWD, to wipe them off the map. (you anti semite)
I tell you again who they are – they are NATION STATES. THEN THE ATTACK COMES DIRECTLY FROM THEM.
So you idiots are the ones that need my help. Never forget that. A lot more hammering through your thick estrogen doused skulls will be required.
Good point Estovir – the continual LOLs, the HAHAHAHAHAs, and the all-caps sentences are so childish that, when combined, they’re beyond the pale of rational discourse. As I said elsewhere, he now joins Dennis, FishWings, Gigi, and Enigmainblack on the no-to-be-taken-seriously list, a/k/a, the not-worth-the-time-to-read list. I’m going to be ignoring him from here on out and I recommend the same for you.
Pretty pathetic when you’re utterly beaten to bail out and scream come with me. you don’t believe you own lies, and I can stop capping and laughing anytime I want. I also notice NONE of you ignore those you named, for YEARS.
If you do now, that is new. Maybe you’re losing it.
I’m not playing games. I put in my two cents, used facts and analysis, and had my say.
Like I said below and you probably saw after some stupidity pushed my way – with a 24 to 1 murder lead, the male female man child baby women thing is OBVIOUS, and so sorry, it’s not in your favor.
Also claiming I don’t want to know something is just low level BS. But good luck making up 24X to 1, it’s not going to come close to even happening. We can shave a 0.5 out of 24, max. If that math is too hard for you call me dumb again. LOL
Shakdi:
And why are there any losses of Arabs? Have Israelis just been casually busting down doors and slaughtering everyone? No. That’s what Hamas does.
Hamas’ entire raison d’être is to kill Jews. That’s it. It’s not about redrawing boundary lines, establishing one part of teeny tiny Israel as another country. It’s just to kill Jews. They use knives, vans, bombs, anything at hand, funded by Iran, to kill as many Jews as they can, at every opportunity.
Israel does more than any nation that has ever existed on Planet Earth to minimize civilian casualties. They drop leaflets and use loudspeakers, proclaiming they will bomb a site, and what time, urging civilians to flee. It even developed a precursor bomb that just shakes the building before it’s actually bombed, again in the attempt to make civilians leave. Hamas leadership generally flees, but tells civilians to remain behind, because dead Palestinians means more fundraising. That’s why they build military bases under hospitals and orphanages. Hamas really does “love death more than Jews love life.” Hamas has received billions in funding, yet instead of caring for its people and improving infrastructure of the Gaza Strip, which it has had total control over since 2006, it uses the money to kill as many Jews as possible. It then blames poor living conditions, due to a total lack of funding, on the Jews. So it can kill more Jews. It will never recognize Israel’s right to exist. It will never recognize the religious holy land of the Jews, the native people of Judea, birthplace of Judaism. This is nothing more than homicidal antisemitism.
When terrorists bomb Israel, IDF engages in targeting bombing back, or it takes out terrorists. Fellow travelers then bemoan dead terrorists, and claim false equivalence with the murdered babies and children those terrorists deliberately killed, like it’s the same thing.
Hamas invaded Israel to rape, torture, kill, and kidnap as many Jews as they could. They slaughtered 40 babies, beheading many of them, just in one village. Hamas uploaded videos of their crimes. I watched a video where they had hunted down an unarmed Thai worker, mutilating him, before finally beheading him with a blunt shovel. They raped and sodomized a woman until the seat of her pants ran with blood, before dragging her by her hair to toss among more rapists. I saw the body of a raped German tatooo artist, stripped to her underwear, and beaten so badly that her hips looked dislocated, her legs bent the wrong way, and there were extra joints. These weren’t the acts of a single soldier turned rogue. This wasn’t a military operation. It was a mob of homicidal serial killers. The mob spit on the body of that woman, and beat her remains.
Anyone who rapes, tortures, or kills civilians, is an evil person who deserves a ticket to Hell as quickly as possible. Anyone who beheads babies, or burns families alive in their homes, deserves to be put down. Anyone who admires this, or says the raped women and murdered babies were asking for it, do the work of ultimate evil, and are morally bankrupt.
Jahannam awaits these demons. May they get there quickly.
Jahannam awaits these demons. May they get there quickly.
They think they’re being dispatched to enjoy the company of 72 virgins. They’ll have a rude awakening in the midst of 72 demons who will have no mercy on them, and that state of affairs will last all eternity.
Or, there is no afterlife, and they’ll simply be dead.
“Hamas has received billions in funding, yet instead of caring for its people and improving infrastructure of the Gaza Strip, which it has had total control over since 2006, it uses the money to kill as many Jews as possible”
So, first of all total control is an outright lie. Saying they are “the elected government” was accurate in 2006.
I’m certain your opposition would say building anything for the IDF bulldozers to raze did not prove fruitful, but beyond that denying a people and a government MONEY FOR MILITARY DEFENSE IS A LYING CRYING JOKING SHAME BUT YOU JUST DID IT LIKE BREATHING. (propaganda)
Your first two paragraphs were obvious total propaganda, claiming things no one can possibly know, but characterized to produce hatred and a dead brain. Keep squealing and screaming the devil is loose – whatever. Don’t ask what I’m talking about: “…to kill as many Jews as they can, at every opportunity.”
Yeah yeah, sure thang bubba.
Apparently that opportunity is far less than the 24X higher opportunity israel and the jews have taken to slaughter palestinains with every means at their disposal at every opportunity !! THAT’S WHAT THEY DID ! FOR DECADES !
(as I said, your sick juvenile quacking is far below me)
The 40 babies village lady has already back stepped – she never saw any of it. One surely remembers babies and incubators.
Oh look at the Ghost of Kiev just flew over my house.
In any case, 40×24 is NINE HUNDRED AND SIXTY so we can leave that massacre at the feet of whom it belongs to – Israel and the jews murdered a thousand babies plus – once we multiply years and numbers who knows how many thousands… a portion of 120 thousand.
So you just blew a bunch of propaganda my way. Still, good to know one set of murdering thugs is holy and the other set is the devil.
HAHAHAHHAAHAA LOLOLOL ( oh gosh I devolved to multi LOL’s)
(At some point maybe a brain cell will work, maybe, it’s unlikely though.)
This is the general Israel needs. And can we borrow him when he is finished there? Our military, like other institutions, has become disgusting.

This by me.
He outshines Gen Mark Milley by 1000x. I imagine he doesn’t waste valuable time thinking about how to make the IDF woke and betray his PM to Israel’s enemies.
Agreed.
I also noticed he didn’t bother to tell us what his pronouns are.
He didn’t need to, but I still wonder what Gen Mark Milley’s pronouns are.
Wonder no more; his pronounce are despicable/a/hole.
Young,
“… what Gen Mark Milley’s pronouns are.”
Disgrace and traitor.
I would not follow him to make a sitting head call after eating a box of prunes.
Yes, I am mixing military services but you get the idea.
Upstate “but you get the idea.”
I do and I agree.
If the gaza strip and whatever government (hamas + others or the former PLO) represents it ever gives up it’s war, all the funding will stop and there will be no economy. So Israel gains support and the gaza strip survives on the threats remaining above a penniless ghetto.
Nearby nations refocus their abused populations on the war.
Sound familiar ? It should.
All the wannabes and MICs and politicians puff their chests and declare their fealty and the destruction and monies flow, forever.
And who is crossing our southern border? The “Joe Biden” administration, by opening up the southern border, is setting the US up for a similar terror event here in the homeland, but even worse. That is what “Joe Biden” thinks homeland security means – homeland insecurity. 1,500,000 gotaways, bigger than the pop of Dallas have snuck across the border. The blood from the terrorism deaths of Americans will be on Biden’s and Mayorkas’s hands.
As Michael Oren spoke to Bari Weiss on her podcast regarding Hamas crossing the Israeli borders, it crossed my mind how Mayorkas is similar to Hamas in allowing terrorists to cross the U.S. Border. Biden has opened the US Border to enemies to sabotage our nation just like Hamas and Israel. Texas has erected barriers at the US Border only to have Biden’s Administration literally remove those barriers

Estovir,
I listened to that one.
Here is another one by Bari: When People Tell You Who They Are, Believe Them
https://www.thefp.com/p/when-people-tell-you-who-they-are
There is nothing remotely Israeli nor Jewish about me. but when I listened to Michael Oren articulate intelligently, methodically and persuasively how the Hamas existence historically has been about wiping out Israel, the conclusion is clear. Hamas / Palestine are anti-Semites as are their apologists e.g. CNN, NYT, BBC, Left-leaning Democrats, et al
The pipsqueak always screams they will remove their tormentor forever.
Biden shrieked the same thing about Russia on TV. The plans are removal of Putin and breaking up the territory once and for all.
When you’re a giant behemoth in comparison you never need to wipe out the pipsqueak in order to have a chance at survival.
When our vile regime can’t get over their USSR cold war mindset, literally, till the day they die they will scream it, not noticing the same thing at other places is preferred blindness.
When your weapons are sticks compared to arrows, other means are used to show force, which is labelled as terrorism, of course.
This excuses nor condemns either side, but someone needs to turn big actors behind the scene in the proper direction, and that’s what Trump was accomplishing.
Expecting the gaza strip to surrender is like expecting Ukraine to have made the peace agreement Boris interrupted and struck down with biden’s command.
The pipsqueak is expected to surrender and be a good little boy, but that obviously is not how the big world works.
We run a proxy war with our gaza strip, it’s called Ukraine. We took over their government and sent the terrorists weapons to them.
We can fluff our superior positions and freedoms( very questionable at this point ), but when it comes down to it’s terror and murder all the same.
Estovir,
Nor I, but we have close friends and family that are.
I am still looking for second and third order effects that may ripple across the Mid-East.
Are we looking at the beginning of WWIII in very different parts of the world?
Whom else may take advantage of this chaos we are seeing?
Again, who do our enemies want to see win the presidential election in 2024?
Upstate and Estovir – as a Jew who has studied in Israel and whose eldest son has spent time there working for a water tech company, I appreciate all you do. This conflict is about as stark a battle between good and evil as will ever emerge in this world. People like you who support Israel are really supporting everything good and godly. Why? Because you see clearly what is happening and are naturally drawn to good and repulsed by evil. Many left-leaning Jews also can see what’s happening, support Israel, and condemn Hamas’s butchery. But there is so much fog and confusion on the left that most of the media outlets and politicians sympathizing with the evil of Hamas are left-leaning or left-wing. It’s sad they can’t put their prejudices aside to see clearly what’s going on in front of their very eyes.
OldManFromKS,
Well, I cannot speak to the godly part, but as someone who has deployed to a war zone and seen first hand what that looks like, I would like to think cooler heads would make the right decisions and come to peace.
Unfortunately, this is a war that has raged on since humans were making fire with two rocks.
I fear this will in fact spill over into WWIII. We will all be affected either directly or indirectly, see that second and third order effects thing. Other things I fear is a escalation into not only WWIII but nuclear Armageddon. I like her for the most part, but Nikki Halley’s comments about supporting the Ukraine are cause for concern. Another fear I have is the tension here in America between various groups be it race, religion, political party, culture may become a real shooting war here on American soil. I will come to the support and defense of my Jewish friends and family, even if I do not like him. He is kinda a pompous arse.
Same goes for my sane Democrat sister.
Then again, a lot of some of the stupid of our society will go away when bullets are flying, food is in shortage. First world problems. It is amazing how humble one becomes when the grid is down, Netflix is off line, Wal-Mart is burned down, Grub Hub is not delivering and the sound of shots in anger are within ear shot.
Then things get interesting.
oldmanks…I did not know you are Jewish. Jewish Cardiologists trained me at Mt Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, and one in particular told me Catholic Nuns at St Francis Hospital in Miami Beach taught him how to approach patients. I know evil all too well being Cuban and seeing Communism in action. Hamas needs to be destroyed. I hope Netanyahu does that without flinching
Estovir, I hope so too. This attack was like 9/11 times 8 for the population of Israel. 10/7 has been called the worst day in Israel’s history. I believe Bibi when he says this war will fundamentally change the Middle East.
The first step in that change is crushing and pulverizing Hamas and Hezbollah – which will probably soon join the war – until there is literally nothing left of them. Blow their dust to the four corners of the Earth. For human life to continue on this planet they must be completely and totally eradicated.
LMAO – You’re totally gone you freak.
“For human life to continue on this planet they must be completely and totally eradicated.”
Now it isn’t just not the USA but Israel you scream is going bye bye, you’ve upgraded your brain to include the entire world ! Good for you, take another estrogen pill and squeal out some more overblown propaganda !
Let’s face it, your homeland is the reason, along with all the other skum you can’t get along with, that the entire world is threatened. That doesn’t leave you and yours out of the equation dumb dumb.
Between babbling idiots like you and biden and his endless jews in the cabinet fomenting war after war after war, you’ve got ZERO ROOM to talk.
Why don’t you get your butt over to the homeland so you can save the entire world. LMAO YOU FOOL.
“‘Anyone who wants to thwart the establishment of a Palestinian state has to support bolstering Hamas and transferring money to Hamas,’ Netanyahu told his Likud party’s Knesset members in March 2019. ‘This is part of our strategy'”

Wow what a big surprise, similar to us arming Ukraine ( and it’s NAZIS which the demoncrats totally support).
Yeah, it’s all a big sick joke, every bit, every where.
I consider your comments a big sick joke.
Blackrock and Vanguard are pleased with you. The Polish farmers are not.
Good for you, stay stupid.
Reading these comments is like walking down a street in San Francisco. One must avoid the human excrement. ^^^^
A Second Amendment in Israel could have saved many innocent lives. Innocent people should be able to defend themselves against murderous terrorists and criminals. The government shouldn’t get in the way of such self-defense.
https://12ft.io/proxy?q=https%3A%2F%2Fthefederalist.com%2F2023%2F10%2F09%2Fisrael-loosens-strict-gun-control-laws-to-arm-as-many-citizens-as-possible%2F
LOL
It’s a joke when you start reading through, so little way too late. It doesn’t even apply to the populace. If you’re one of the government’s hired guns, then you might get one gun. Redundant.
“You are eligible to apply only if you live or work in the settlement areas or are employed in professions that use guns — like security guards, police officers, or firefighters. Active duty military, military veterans of a certain rank, and special forces can also apply.”
So we can safely say Israel murdered and bunch of it’s own people with it’s libturd tyranny gun policy. It’s all on them. The blood flows from their dictator policy. I’m sure you’ll join me in condemning them, the good American that you no doubt are, well versed in human rights and the second amendment and reasons for it. One more set of notches in the belt for the terrorist government of israel aligned with the left garbage of the USA.
So let’s hear it big guy.
Nazi comparisons are facile, but in this case Hamas = Nazis is accurate.
https://twitter.com/HenMazzig/status/1711732906412884432
Just like the real nazi’s biden and co support in Ukraine since before 2014.
It’s getting real old hearing about nazis.
Does that make the authorities in Maui nazis since they sent children home from school or kept them home then turned the people back into the fires ?
BTW yesterday someone provided a link to the chart of deaths on each side in that gaza israel conflict over years and it appears to be 100 to 1, and we both know which side dies 100X more than the other.
100X slaughtering means israel are nazis, right ?
See how that nazi thing works…
^^ this is the kind of lunacy the good people of the world have to deal with ^^
That’s a great rebuttal. Ad hominen 100%.
Pointing out immense hypocrisy is not lunacy, dummy.
Simple facts are not hatred. Just accept defeat. I cut through the total propaganda crap like a knife through butter. I understand you have already accepted you lost. That’s why screaming lock him up is your reply. Just like the turds of the biden regime do.
Did you renew your NPC sheep ID lately ? It appears so.
You are a low-IQ, childish commenter. I expanded on this above in case you’re interested. I won’t be reading your juvenile comments any more. You join Dennis, Gigi, FishWings, and Enigmainblack on the not-to-be-taken-seriously . . . so have a good life.
Sure. You won’t be able to ignore my points. Right now they are driving deep within your skull and changing you.
So here’s the stats
https://www.statista.com/chart/16516/israeli-palestinian-casualties-by-in-gaza-and-the-west-bank/
A quick add comes to 120 thousand gazans dead vs 5 thousand israeli dead 2008 to 2020.
So we’re at 24 to 1, not 100 to 1.
Is 24 to 1 a nazi response ? I think most would say it is, the vast majority probably would ABOVE 90%.
Does anyone think peace comes when you kill 24 of the enemy for every one of yours ?
Does anyone think those 24 are less likely to be innocent civilians than the 1 ?
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAAA
What do you think a 24x kill ratio produces from controlled ghettos whose masters are slaughtering away ?
We both know the answer to that.
^^ this is the kind of deranged lunacy the good people of the world have to put up with ^^
LOL – that’s all you have loser, a big fat egg on your face.
You literally have no ability to perform simple arithmetic. 120,000 Gazan’s dead? Sure, buddy.
Golly, another dumb dumb. I even provided the link. I got straight A’s without even trying bub.
A river in Egypt is calling you, or rather you’re drowning in it.
In this house, we never say, “the math is hard”.
“Innocents” in War
In an attempt to neuter Israel’s moral right to defend itself, the Left appeals to pity: “Casualties in Gaza continue to climb.” In other words, how dare Israel harm “innocent” civilians in Gaza.
Any harm to those civilians is the responsibility of the barbarians who invaded Israel — the Gaza *government*, Hamas. And that *government’s* supporter, Iran.
As for any actual “innocents” who might live in Gaza, a little history would help.
During WWII, the actual innocents in Europe (e.g., Italy) cheered in the streets, as allied bombs exploded around them. Why? Because they yearned for freedom. And those bombs meant rescue from their tyrants.
“Innocents” in War
That was from Sam. For some reason, my email/name sign-in is not working.
You rewrote the geneva conventions all on your own huh ?
“Any harm to those civilians is the responsibility of the barbarians who invaded Israel”
LOL – you have virtue signaled properly. Let’s face it, the horrors the Ukrainians have been doing to captured Russians (and their fellow citizens who speak Russian) won’t see any punishment any more than Israel when it wipes strips away from Gaza and starves the entire populace in darkness, the latter which it has already announced and implemented. The Russians unlike the gazans have treated the captured enemy with kid gloves, since their goal is rump ukraine neutrality and many more surrenders which are occurring en masse.
The virtue signaling I’m sure is very self assertive, but it isn’t moral or legal.
The lack of horrors in war just means other ends desired or current goals at odds.

This morning, in questions to @SecBlinken, @abcnews and @NBCNews stated/implied that the Hamas attack on Israel was a U.S. intelligence failure. Let me be clear: This was NOT a US intel failure. The equivalent would be saying that 9/11 was an Israeli or UK intel failure.
DC_Draino
@DC_Draino
Biden paid Iran $6 billion on 9/11
Weeks later, Iran funded Hamas’ terrorist attack against Israel on the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War
These are not coincidences
This destabilization of the Middle East was planned by evil people on all sides that want war and death.
I watched one Isreali defense forces woman (about 40 yrs old or so) who was there claim the entire lot of forces along the security perimeter that was breached were MISSING the at time of the attack. She was dumbfounded as to how that could occur, and her conclusion was a “conspiracy theory” that often turn out to be the truth. Perhaps I can find the video.
Words matter. Inaction speaks volumes. Biden’s Handlers are inept and have put the entire globe on full alert like never before. The internet is bringing the brutality of Hamas into our homes and it is horrific. All of this happened because of Biden Administration pursuit of Leftist Talking Points instead of courageous, inspiring, powerful, global leadership. Obama was a coward globally. Biden is worse.
Eight days before Hamas savagely terrorized Israel, Biden’s National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said at “The Atlantic Festival” that the Middle East was “quieter” than at any time since 9/11.
“The war in Yemen is in its 19th month of truce, for now, the Iranian attacks against U.S. forces have stopped, our presence in Iraq is stable — I emphasize for now, because all of that can change. And the middle east region is quieter today than it has been in two decades,”

Joint Statement on Israel
Today, the leaders of France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States of America released the following joint statement following their call:
Today, we — President Macron of France, Chancellor Scholz of Germany, Prime Minister Meloni of Italy, Prime Minister Sunak of the United Kingdom, and President Biden of the United States — express our steadfast and united support to the State of Israel, and our unequivocal condemnation of Hamas and its appalling acts of terrorism.
We make clear that the terrorist actions of Hamas have no justification, no legitimacy, and must be universally condemned. There is never any justification for terrorism. In recent days, the world has watched in horror as Hamas terrorists massacred families in their homes, slaughtered over 200 young people enjoying a music festival, and kidnapped elderly women, children, and entire families, who are now being held as hostages.
Our countries will support Israel in its efforts to defend itself and its people against such atrocities. We further emphasize that this is not a moment for any party hostile to Israel to exploit these attacks to seek advantage.
All of us recognize the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people, and support equal measures of justice and freedom for Israelis and Palestinians alike. But make no mistake: Hamas does not represent those aspirations, and it offers nothing for the Palestinian people other than more terror and bloodshed.
Over the coming days, we will remain united and coordinated, together as allies, and as common friends of Israel, to ensure Israel is able to defend itself, and to ultimately set the conditions for a peaceful and integrated Middle East region.
For unknown reasons, the spam filter snagged this comment above. Restored.
Thank you!

“Our countries will support Israel in its efforts to defend itself “
The Western nations will provide that support, but from experience, it is short-term, and moral support needs to exist until Hamas ceases to exist. In the past, with time, the moral support waned to permit that terrorist organization to grow, which was to the disadvantage of those living in Gaza and Israel. Not killing the beast earlier guaranteed a lot more deaths and destruction.
People should understand that Israel controlled Gaza. Without payment of any kind, Israel ceded that land to the people of Gaza while forcing Israelis living there and owning land to leave. What did that give the state of Israel? Another enemy front with rockets fired at Israel for no reason.

When the Israelis left they also handed over a high tech greenhouse operation that was very productive as a gift to the Palestinian people. The Palestinians destroyed it. They support Hamas. They support terror. They support atrocities. They celebrate the murder of women and children and the elderly even celebrating in New York and London. Now they want to murder hostages on television unless they get their way.
There is no room for discussion or negotiations. Kill them. Clean out Gaza completely. Then start taking out these savages in Iran and wherever else in the world Israel can find them.
The Palestinians destroyed it.
Not all Muslims in Gaza are against math and science, but the ideology that drives Hamas and Isis (which are the same) is opposed to such learning. Math itself is antithetical to its theology. It is fundamentally nihilistic.

I agree with you, Young, but this war might be expanding. There was a small raid from Lebanon, but as the analyst from MEF says, it would not have occurred without Hezbollah’s OK, and Hezbollah is a creation of Iran. Hezbollah has many more high-tech missiles that can reach Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Ben Gurion airport along with the rest of Israel’s heartland.
This war can drastically expand.
Americans should stop and think. How many terrorists entered the Israeli borders? There are reports that there are 300 known terrorists that crossed our borders and remain within. The known is generally the tip of the iceberg. Did Biden permit the entrance of a future 9/11, only much bigger?
I don’t think the below posted.

Does it look as if anyone in our government can think? The US is a runaway train.
Yes, the war can expand. Maybe it is inevitable given the savages Israel is facing. But Iran knows that Israel’s Dolphin subs are very good and may get close enough to deliver a nuclear package to downtown Iran. If not, their planes probably can. This is the peril that Clinton, Obama and Biden have dragged us and the world to. The risk was clear. Only Trump gave us a brief pullback from the edge.
Iran likely sees the risk of having gone too far. Already Hamas is screaming that Iran had nothing to do with the attack. I don’t believe them. One of their people also claimed they only attacked military people. I didn’t know all those girls dancing at the rave for peace were really soldiers. Believe nothing the terrorists say. Believe nothing our demented, lying government says.
I am thinking about the ultimate object. Iran’s power if it has a nuclear weapon ready to be delivered. If war breaks out with Hezbollah, will Israel attack Iran’s nuclear facilities? I am not suggesting one or the other answer, only posing the question.
S Meyer:
“war breaks out with Hezbollah, will Israel attack Iran’s nuclear facilities?”

Don’t know, but somebody should. Kill their scientists and let it be known that anybody who works on that program can be killed anywhere in the world. These people have shown themselves to be monsters. They should not get their hands on weapons of mass destruction.
I heard the same thing during clinton’s years when North Korea was first assembling it nukes – the minute they get one the launch will occur – that’s what was said. They screamed Kim is a lunatic insane psyhoX who cares only about himself.
I hear the same lies years over years, and no one ever seems to learn.
I admit at some point the lie could move to the exception.
I also admit our current government have proven themselves to be monsters.
The hostages present a difficult problem. The savaged are saying the hostages will be killed on television if Israel doesn’t stop its bombing.
Try to rescue them if possible but if not they cannot interfere with a military decision. Keep bombing, even if hostages are shields. Do what has to be done to save the nation and mourn later.
Israel is a small nation, so the decision becomes more difficult. However, they cannot yield to that type of pressure, and they know it. To complicate the issue further, Israelis believe in life, and most have difficulty killing civilians, impeding their battle with the terrorists.
Are you familiar with Biblical history?
A short story:
During the Exodus, the first people to attack the Jews were the Ameleks, who did so for no reason. The Jews won the battle but the Ameleks remained threatening them again. When Saul came upon the Ameleks, through the Prophet Samuel, God told Saul to kill every Amelek. He spared the Amelek King, displeasing God, but because Saul didn’t follow the words of God, Saul’s Kingship was lost, and Saul died.
Samuel killed the Amelek King but did not know the King had already provided a child, which kept the Amelek people alive. The Amelek prominently reappeared as Hamen (Purim) half a millennia later.
God had called for the total destruction of the Amelek, and maybe those words coming from the Torah are words that Israel should heed when dealing with Hamas, today’s modern Amelek.
It has been ages since I read the Bible and didn’t recall the episode with the Ameleks but Hamas and the rest certainly qualify for being present day Ameleks. I favor God’s total destruction for them at the moment. I doubt anything else will work.
I recall an instance of a young woman in Gaza who was badly burnt in a kitchen fire. She went to Israel for treatment and was given careful and expert care. I thought what wonderful people and what wonderful doctors. On one of her last trips to the clinic she was stopped and found to be wearing explosives to kill her doctors, nurses and other staff. I thought I couldn’t comprehend such despicable and completely black evil. Ameleks indeed. Israel will kill out of necessity and to save lives. Hamas will kill because they like it and because they love death.
Yup, their saying is “we love death more than the Jews love life.” That’s satanic right there.
I am listening to the families on TV while typing. Young and old without hatred suddenly face death, captivity, and torture. Only animals can cause this, and they brought the same to their people as the bombs burst in their midst.
I do not wish to see massive death, and I know the Israeli army will attempt to protect life as best as possible. They have always done so, for they represent the culture of life, fighting the culture of death.
When the allies bombed Hitler’s war machine – meaning his munitions factories and the dams that provided electricity to them – there were civilian casualties. Those casualties were the fault of the Third Reich, not the allies, who did not ask for the war in the first place, and who had to defeat Germany for civilization to survive. There is a direct analogy to what is happening between Israel and Hamas.
Oldmanfrom–
I agree. When we bombed Nagasaki we knew American prisoners were being held there. But it had to be done. When Vichy France refused to sail its fine navy to ports where Hitler could not get them Churchill ordered the Royal Navy to sink them. RN officers had tears when they opened fire. Their allies and friends were being killed. But it had to be done. When bombs were placed on a Norwegian ferry to sink a cargo of heavy water bound for Hitler’s atomic bomb program one of the saboteurs watched with horror as a beautiful and innocent family also got on board. He knew they would die but too much was at stake to warn them. That, too, was the right decision. When you fight Satan you have to fight with everything you have. Destroy Gaza, all of it.
There are always civilian casualties or at least harm, as good people pay for the foolishness of their leaders. In the case of Hamas, the leaders aren’t just foolish and greedy (Arafat died a billionaire), but they are barbaric. We can see it in the Hamas videos and the glee they get from killing young children. The anti-Semites and radical leftists get a high off of things like this.
Bari Weiss said it right. The Nazis tried to hide what they did. Hamas puts it in our faces.
“But it had to be done.”
Young, what you say is the only answer for the barbarism we sometimes face. Is it sinful to kill?
During WW2, the OSS kept Neils Bohr under constant surveillance. The agents were to remove him to the West if the Germans came to get him, and if they couldn’t do it, their orders were to kill Neils Bohr. He was an innocent, but it ‘had to be done.’
“Those casualties were the fault of the Third Reich, not the allies, who did not ask for the war in the first place..”
That’s an astounding statement – keep punching someone in the face when they’re down and see if you don’t get a war. What a JOKE you spoke.
It’s never explicable it’s never your fault, and all the murdering you did is on them. LOL
You’re amazing.
How many times do you have to tell yourselves lies before you believe them ?
Or is it just some sort of current chest puffing, immoral excuses, historical rewriting, and bloviating so that the current huge problems can we warmed over and cuddled with no guilt ?
Yes, I have your number, and there’s no way I’m buying it.
” To complicate the issue further, Israelis believe in life, and most have difficulty killing civilians, impeding their battle with the terrorists.”
LOL
Is a 24 to1 kill ratio “impeded” since 2008 ?
https://www.statista.com/chart/16516/israeli-palestinian-casualties-by-in-gaza-and-the-west-bank/
The propaganda is pathetic. Literally pathetic. It’s the exact opposite of the truth and the facts.
TELL THE TRUTH FOR ONCE.
Let’s characterize it correctly, with the FACTS, using your measuring stick.
THE ISRAELIS ARE SUCH BLOODTHIRSTY HATE FILLED MONSTERS THEY MURDER 24 GAZAN POOR PEOPLE FOR EVERY ISRAELI DOWNED IN THE WAR.
That’s terrorists, that’s NAZIS. 24 to 1- an amazing love of life of the enemy, no doubt !
HAHAHAHAHA MY GOD !
“Is a 24 to1 kill ratio “impeded” since 2008 ?”
Shokdhi, try to think a little deeper. What was the ratio at the Kibbutz and the party? 100-200 to zero, or infinity? Hamas were the attackers killing unarmed babies, women, and old defenseless people. Hamas acted cowardly.
Now that Hamas started a war by killing defenseless women and children, Israel will fight, and you will complain. Learn the difference between people who act like men, not animals, and Hamas. Regrettably, many civilians will die because Hamas places its missiles and military offices in hospitals and schools. Cowardice! The ratio will favor Israeli defenders rather than the cowardly attackers who killed unarmed women and children while acting like animals.
Reversing the tables, Hamas would have a 1000 or 5000 to one kill ratio because Hamas fails to protect life.
You lack understanding of how the despots in your area act. Let me explain using the now-dead strongman from Syria, Hafiz al Assad. I forget the city name, but they rebelled against Assad, whose response was to quell the rebellion by sending in troops and tanks, killing many. When the city surrendered, his general asked what he should do. Assad said not to let any people leave and ordered the entire population killed, and the city leveled like a parking lot with parts of the dead flattened on the ground.
He then took some discontented mayors to the city and told them to look around.
Maybe Assad was your type of guy. I cannot say because I do not know you, but listening to you makes one wonder.
Yeah yeah sure thing, whatever, you’re deluded and monster too. ( I don’t believe that about any of you but the war propaganda excuses are pathetic)
I leveled a whole city meyers, all by myself. You people are quacks. A pathetic run into the the sewer below the gutter.
Swim around with your fellow travelers you all stink. By the way, when I take out your city, yep, you guessed it, bunker busters, so suck up that sewage while you can.
“Reversing the tables, Hamas would have a 1000 or 5000 to one kill ratio ”
Here we have pure speculation, and obvious propaganda.
Let’s do another thought experiment. Jews live in the palestinian ghettos that are used as proxies by other nations and surrounded by a far superior enemy while outnumbered greatly.
Oops, that’s where we have to stop. Otherwise it’s anti-semitic… right ? It probably already was, can I get a take on that from you experts ? Nevermind, I know your stupid answer already.
BTW I don’t have despots in my area, your brain farted out another attack ( i know you can’t help yourself), unwarranted and untrue, but thanks for the sick fantasy. Hey, you can go to the homeland and live it out ! Lucky you.
Um, so Assad fairy tale, therefore start cheering for war mongering jerkoffs, but only the proper set of them ?
Tell me about the gassing incident next, then how Putin blew up his own pipeline before Ukrainian elite forces did, and how the snake island ( bussed boys) heroes told that nasty evil enemy to FO before they were annihilated. ( then bussed home with video)
You see ? There’s all sorts of stories, more commonly known as lies. I did take out that whole city myself though, that one is true, and I don’t understand how you knew that about me. Good for you, such a bright judge of character.
“I leveled a whole city meyers, all by myself.”
Put your toys away.
When Hamas attacked unarmed civilians, Hamas got to kill a lot of babies and old women. When they snuck up on a lesser force, a 24 y/o woman led the defense with others killing the terrorists.
The city I mentioned was Hama, and the killing is known as the Hama massacre. News to the outside world was limited, causing reports to vary, but no one denies it being the worst, or one of the worst massacres of a leader’s own people. The city was mostly destroyed and the estimates though ranging widely were horrific, 10,000 -40,000 dead, maybe more. Hamas was then used as an example to others.
You should look it up and do a bit of research. To date, your discussions with me lack facts and clarity. That is your fault. Stop blaming others.

Shadakh, did you ever consider the lifestyle of the leaders of Fatah, PLO, and Hamas? Probably not. Arafat died very rich, probably a billionaire. Where do you think these not-so-brave leaders of Hamas live? Gaza? No.
Here is an excerpt from a reasonably reliable observer.
“The political leadership of Hamas does not live in Gaza, nor do they live in Tehran. They live in Qatar, one of the richest countries in the world, where they are protecting by the jihadist-allied regime in Doha.”

S Meyer, when you wonder to yourself why I’m not rah rah ree with you wackos….
What actually happened and what you babbling liars spew is night and day, isn’t it ?
“From 1976 to 1982, Islamists, including the Muslim Brotherhood, fought the Ba’ath Party-controlled government of Syria in what has been called a “long campaign of terror”.[1] In July 1980, the ratification of Law No. 49 made membership in the Muslim Brotherhood a capital offense.
A CAPITAL OFFENSE BY LAW.
“The 1981 Hama massacre occurred after a failed attack around 21–22 April 1981 by armed Islamist guerrillas (reports identify a security checkpoint or a spring festival) near an Alawite village near Hama.[5][6][7] As a revenge action, government units deployed into Hama and launched house-to-house searches, sealing off neighborhoods as street fighting erupted.[5] A curfew was imposed and Syrian Army troops entered the city. Between Thursday 23 April 1981 and Sunday 26 April 1981, security forces killed scores to hundreds of residents – between 150 and “several hundred”, according to The Washington Post,[6] or at least 350, plus 600 injured, according to authors Olivier Carré and Gérard Michaud[5] chosen randomly among the male population over the age of 14.[8] The killings were carried out by the government’s “Protection Brigades” (a palace guard commanded by the president’s brother Rifaat al-Assad, and Syrian Special Forces commanded by General Ali Haidar, an Alawite and Assad aide, according to the Post,[6] while Human Rights Watch identified Syrian Special Forces and the Syrian Arab Army’s 47th Brigade.[7]”
150, males over the age 14. up to several hundred.
Okay, the TERRORISTS needed to be put down …. those attacking their own country… the very same you now or your buds have claimed need to be wiped out 100%.
Now let’s quickly go to what you just told me about Hama…. after you tried to claim I haven’t personally wiped out a city and won’t use the bunker busters on the sewer works…
QUOTE, YOU, S MEYERS, 911 PM, “straightening me out” ! :
“The city I mentioned was Hama, and the killing is known as the Hama massacre. ”
LMAO ROFLMAO LMMFAO
Okay. It wasn’t 40,000 slaughtered…. it wasn’t peacenick lib hippies sucking down their bagels and arugula – IT WAS THE TERRORISTS…. and it was 150 or more..
Gee, thanks for making me “put away my toys”.

Good luck bucko.
“Okay. It wasn’t 40,000 slaughtered…. it wasn’t peacenick lib hippies sucking down their bagels and arugula – IT WAS THE TERRORISTS…. and it was 150 or more..”
You do poor research, which brings you to the wrong site. Wikipedia informed you of that at the top of the article.
From the correct site:
“Subsequent estimates vary, with the lower estimates reporting at least 10,000 deaths,[14] while others put the number at 20,000 (Robert Fisk)[9] or 40,000 (Syrian Human Rights Committee and SNHR).[5][6][7] The massacre remains the “single deadliest act” of violence perpetrated by an Arab state upon its own population, in the history of Modern Middle East.[15][16]”
…”vast majority of the victims were civilians.[19]”
…”The attack has been described as a “genocidal massacre”
…”The indiscriminate bombardment by government forces razed much of city’s districts, streets, heritage sites, mosques and churches.”

“This war can drastically expand.
Americans should stop and think.”
Oh Ffffffffffffff that ! The animals need to die !
( yes we are very happy with the warland, the never ending {war, not existence, of course, which is always ready to be wiped from the face of the earth, before global warming, after nuclear holocaust, and prior to every bow toward mecca} )
Yeah golly, thinking … Mayorkas, jew, check, Garland, jew check, Nuland jew check … Oh gee I just stopped thinking. I must have blinked…. ahh ! Blinken , jew, check …
Umm… Things are definitely fuzzy and unclear….
“Yeah golly, thinking … Mayorkas, jew, check, Garland, jew check, Nuland jew check … ”
Shakdi (It’s spelled Shakti), you sound like the typical anti-Semite. Jews in every area are proportionately in greater numbers than expected based on their population. Like all people, there will be good, bad, and even some who are stupid.
Think of music and look at the famous musicians, Barbara Streisand, Simon and Garfunkle, Billy Joel, Bette Midler, Gene Simons, Bob Dylan, Neil Diamond, etc. There are so many more, and so out of proportion to the number of Jews that only fools don’t recognize that some Jews may enter positions not as likable.
Wow you hit it out the park there, can’t stand any of those musicians – most of them dead already or hiding.
Thanks, another notch in my belt, you’re turning me anti semitic, please tell me more BS.
Shakdi, no one has to turn you into an anti-semite, you are proving that to be the case.
I see more deflection coming from you, but if you wish to discuss music and the arts, go ahead. The point is Jews are very educated and prominent in many fields. That is why you see their numbers out of proportion.
“Clean out Gaza completely. Then start taking out these savages in Iran and wherever else in the world Israel can find them.”
That is spot on!
When you appease evil, as the West has been doing with Iran for decades, you get more barbarism and destruction.
That is right. The whole lot of them. They are even here among us, enjoying our liberties and celebrating the deaths of innocent people. Its not just hamas.
” They celebrate the murder of women and children and the elderly even celebrating in New York and London”
Israel has slaughtered 24 of them for every 1 israeli since 2008.
Who actually supports the murder of babies children women and the elderly ?
Stop murdering so many gazans then you won’t have to whine they celebrate when they have one tiny victory where 24X of them haven’t been wiped out yet.
I’ve heard 700 and 900 dead israelis now, so we can expect 25,000 dead gazans soon. Then you can celebrate and pretend no women children babies or elderly died.
Shakdi: ” Israel has slaughtered 24 of them for every 1 israeli since 2008.”
+++
That bad? We need about 10,000+ of the fanatics killed for no Israeli deaths.
Gee, you’re a bloodthirsty terrorist.
Shakdi: “we can expect 25,000 dead gazans soon. Then you can celebrate and pretend no women children babies or elderly died.”
+++
Not enough. And I won’t pretend. I’ve already said that given the endless disgusting atrocities coming from there I wouldn’t shed a year if one morning Israel carpet bombed all of Gaza. Leave not one stone upon another. On the compassionate side I might give them a week in advance to flee to Iran, but not here; we don’t want or need more fanatic killers.
Macron and Biden would whine but would forget about it in a week.
I was thinking we could move Harvard there but I wouldn’t want the new city to get off on a bad start.
Well we wouldn’t have to hear about the endless never finished BS then, huh, with fat mouthed fools demanding I suck down lies..
You could be part of the new official genocide crew, proud as can be.
Then all the wackos here, away from the homeland, could embrace you.
We could hear more stories about the extinct animals, and the new stories about those ready to murder you all and wipe you off the face of the earth. The new war too. They come quick you know.
Gee, sounds like great times.
Shakdi,
You have to see that the Palestinians must be remarkably stupid to attack the country that [formerly] supplied them with water and electricity and advanced medical care.
As to that last point we could probably kill a lot of them by sending them to England’s NHS for treatment. Cheaper and less messy and quieter than bombs.
Is that whom is attacking, or is it Iran, and Qatar, which yes, no one talks about because they have a hefty money filled lobbying arm in DC.
Is it the Ukrainians attacking, or more specifically NATO and the USA ? How dumb did they have to be, or did you have to be to think they had a chance ?
How about another thought. When you beat down the slave often enough, yep, even though the food and drink comes from the master’s table, they will attack sometimes. Might be particularly vicious given the years of abuse and frustration, not to mention all the encouragement and help they are getting from the north to do so. Yeah, they don’t want to be cut off so they do as they are told, and as their rage at the unfair master moves them.
So, of course the answer is quite clear. Have they restrained themselves more or less than their master or their paramours ? I doubt it.
If all you have is a 1000X less than the enemy – how do you attack – how do you make headway, how do you reverse the morale – you use soft targets and video and horror. Probably not a real chance, but also likely the only one. If you can inflict enough pain, you might get treated fairly or at least fairer, or so the story goes.
So. It’s not their stupidity. It’s a meat grinder like the Ukranians are in. Are they all dumb as rock too ?
Shakdi “If all you have is a 1000X less than the enemy – how do you attack – how do you make headway”
++
Easy. Decide they aren’t enemies and make every effort to live peacefully and abundantly together. That has been on the table many times and always been rejected by the Gazans.
One good thing, besides many innocent families and women and children these savages have also, finally, killed the Two State Solution. It was always a death pact and now it can be seen for what it is.
Young, Shadki’s responses demonstrate ignorance, not intellect. He needs to realize that Gaza is not under Israeli control. As long as the Gazans don’t attack Israel, Israel has been helpful to Gaza.
I wonder what he reads.
“Hamas does not represent those aspirations . . .”
I guess they did not feel like mentioning the fact that Hamas is the Gaza *government*.
Sam
Hamas is the Gaza *government*
Sometimes the government doesn’t represent the majority of the people, but in this case, Hamas was elected by the people when it had the same annihilate-Israel agenda as today. In the 2006 elections in Gaza, Hamas, Fatah, and PFLP together got 90% of the vote, and Hamas got half of those votes. The Gazans voted for this type of government, a fact conveniently left out of the joint statement (for political reasons of course).
And you conveniently leave out that that vote was 17 years ago.
“. . . that vote was 17 years ago.”
And you conveniently evade the fact that Hamas is still the Gaza government — only more so. And with hundreds of millions in support from Iran.
Sam
I didn’t “conveniently leave it out,” liar. I said the election was in 2006. So what’s your point? The Palestinians of 2006 were bad but today they’re wonderful peace-loving saints? That is detached from reality, and the footage from the ground in Gaza today disproves it.
My mistake.
And my point is that Hamas of 17 years ago is not the same as Hamas today, so Palestinians did not vote for the Hamas of today.
When WWII ended we were surprised to discover that nobody in Germany had ever been pro-Nazi.
How are the Hamas of 17 years ago and today any different? I don’t see any difference.
And do you really think the Gazans of today wouldn’t elect the Hamas of today? I don’t see it. On what do you base to these conclusions?
What major military campaign did Hamas carry out against Israel as of 2006?
I don’t claim to know how Gazans would vote today. You believe they’d elect Hamas, but you don’t know either. Regardless, the fact is: Hamas has not allowed them to vote since 2006.
What major military campaign did Hamas carry out against Israel as of 2006.
There have been several conflicts between Hamas and Israel since 2006, all started by Hamas.
You believe they’d elect Hamas, but you don’t know either.
You’re right I haven’t traveled to Gaza in the last three days and personally polled the residents there, but I’ve seen quite a lot of footage of what they’re doing. This is footage that they proudly put on social media and make available to the world. So, what are they doing? They’re killing, maiming, spitting on Jewish corpses, dragging Israeli women by the hair, executing Jewish grandmothers and children, putting little Jewish kids (approx. 6 years old) among large groups of slightly older Palestinian kids to be bullied mercilessly, incessantly shouting “Allahu Akbar” (God is great) as they slaughter innocents, roaming the streets celebrating Jewish deaths, and all this in great numbers. So . . . that’s some significant anecdotal evidence of where their sympathies lie, the probative value of which should not be underestimated.
OldManFromKS,
Here is an article you might find of interest: Hamas’s War on Israel: Everything You Need to Know
https://www.thefp.com/p/hamas-war-on-israel-everything-you-need-to-know
There are a few other articles on The Free Press of interest too.
Thanks Upstate, reading it now.
I didn’t ask about “since 2006.” I clearly said “as of 2006,” when the vote occurred. Of course there have been things since then, as they transformed from who they were in 2006 to who they are now.
I’ll ask again: What major military campaign did Hamas carry out against Israel as of 2006, when the vote took place?
You claimed “I don’t see any difference [between the Hamas of 17 years ago and today].” So show that they were doing in or before 2006 what they’re doing today.
Their minds are gone in bloviating propaganda. They have zero ability to not be raging partisan whack jobs in this matter. It’s all BS up and down the line. They’ll get that 24 to 1 murder ratio up higher, by God !
I do find it interesting and likely (no not just likely OBVIOUSLY) a strategy to keep the 2 million prisoners corralled in the ghetto and then deal with the skirmishes from there, because without it the attacks to and fro are with large nations.
So we just have to put up with this total BS and the constant whining and crying and lying and positioning and keeping any facts obscure and never spoken about because that means people wake up to the massive jerk fraud.
We’re saints and the enemy is the devil. Rinse and repeat, endlessly. Forget any facts or truth, just push the outrageous propaganda but never outline the 24 to 1 death ratio the little devils have been suffering under, in poverty, for decades. LOL
Ya gotta laugh at this crap. We have war mongering monsters all over the place and none of them are innocent or better or worse than the others.
We could go with the hitlery veni vidi vici quote right now and it would fit right in.
“Joint Statement on Israel”
Empty words. But worse — lip service in the service of evil.
In the face of a barbaric attack, the *only* thing that counts is action. Eradicate the killers. Eradicate their supporters. Anything less only invites more mass destruction.
Sam
For 23 months, Professor Turley has repeatedly failed to acknowledge the Washington Post repeatedly asked President Trump’s attorney, Giuliani, and Trump campaign strategist, Stephen K. Bannon, for a copy of the laptop data they gave to the New York Post so they could review & verify the contents before the 2020 election, but the requests were rebuffed or ignored.
Instead Turley relentlessly insists there was no political motivation for President Trump’s attorney, Giuliani, to claim his client’s political opponent was guilty of massive influence peddling 3 weeks before the 2020 election. Giuliani recently lost a defamation lawsuit for repeatedly making false claims about 2 Georgia election workers & also faces a billion dollar defamation lawsuit for knowingly spreading false claims about Dominion voting machines riggng the 2020 election for Biden.
Tim Scott immediately used the massacre in Israel to attack Biden: “Biden weakness invited this attack. Biden admin wants Israel to stand down. At this point, Biden is complicit.” Professor Turley has yet to comment on Senator Scott’s Blame American First agenda.
Ignorance!
What Giuliani did or didn’t do has nothing to do with Biden’s corruption and stupidity.
The Washington Post’s requests have nothing to do with the truth the laptop provides.
Whether another was wrong or right about Dominion has nothing to do with the Biden Family crimes.
Tim Scott didn’t blame America. He correctly blamed Joe Biden.
Thank you for once again demonstrating you are terminally stupid.
Europe is blaming Joseph Biden’s White House for Hamas. Brutal.
Biden’s America has failed Israel
Days before Hamas attacked, America released $6 billion to Iran in return for it releasing a handful of hostages. Hamas now holds a dozen or so US citizens seized on Saturday. Who taught them that kidnapping paid dividends? Let’s be frank. Joe Biden’s policy has been worse than appeasement in the late 1930s. …
Biden’s Administration has given time and money to Iran and its local fronts, Hamas and Hizbollah……
For all of Donald Trump’s many flaws, his mercurial personality made him a calming factor on the foreign policy front. With the exception of his surgical strike on General Soleimani of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Trump was restrained in his use of force, but, unlike Biden, his counterparts from Iran to North Korea and including Russia and China were shy of provoking him. They didn’t want to find out if his bark would turn to bite……
Many in the Middle East sense that the “Big Man”, as Joe’s son Hunter calls him, is too old and vague to handle a crisis. But his key men, Blinken and Sullivan, are the architects of America’s wobbly security structure in the Middle East… With the region spinning out of control, the rest of the world is wondering who in Washington is capable of taking charge? The track record of the Biden team is more than worrying for America’s friends and provoking her enemies to dangerous action.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/10/09/bidens-america-has-failed-israel/
This article is brutal but the following comment is lethal, like a spear to the jugular:
Joe Biden’s policy has been worse than appeasement in the late 1930s.
That this came from the UK Telegraph, a very respected news outlet in Europe, is devastating to Biden’s reputation in Europe. This will spread like wild fire.
Joseph Biden’s fragile memory and cognitive issues can not sustain nor process these types of summary judgements.
Look for Biden to deteriorate rapidly.
the author of an op-ed blaming Biden =/= Europe blaming Biden
In fact, Biden just released a joint statement with multiple European leaders.
Obviously foreign governments are not going to blame Biden in public.
It’s comical that Leftists now miraculously defend the government and worship their statements. Hysterical
They chose to make a joint statement with him. They would not do that if they privately blamed him.
VoteVets:
Here are the five things Republicans should do:
• Convene the House. Elect a Speaker.
• Pass aid to Israel and Ukraine.
• Confirm the US Ambassador to Israel.
• End the hold on US military officers.
• Stop playing politics with national security.
“Here are the five things Republicans should do:”
Here are the two things the Biden administration should do, since it controls foreign policy and the military:
1) Raze Gaza to the ground.
2) Then warn Iran: See what we just did to Gaza? You have 24 hours to surrender unconditionally. If you don’t, Tehran is next.
Sam
Nice to know that you believe in mass murder.
“. . . mass murder.”
Sure.
Just like the allies “murdered” Japanese, Italians, Germans in WWII.
The wicked irony is that the Left’s appeasement of Hamas/Iran causes the mass murder of innocent Israelis. And the Left’s moral equivalence charade disarms the victim, Israel.
You’re the one who said “Raze Gaza to the ground,” including the half of the population who are innocent children. Don’t deny the meaning of what you’re calling for.
“You’re the one who said ‘Raze Gaza to the ground,’ . . .”
Yes. Just like the Allies did to Dresden in WWII. Any “innocents” who die are the responsibility of the terrorists who started this war and their dictatorial supporters in Tehran.
Just as the Hamas terrorists hide behind “innocent children,” so does the Left — to defang Israel’s right to defend itself.
Sam

Turley doesn’t mention that REPUBLICANS are trying to blame BIDEN for the Hamas attack. From US News:
‘Sleeping On the Job’: GOP Primary Candidates Blame Biden for Hamas Attacks on Israel
Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis and other White House hopefuls criticized the current administration’s moves and response to this weekend’s violence.

(AP Photo/Manuel Balce Ceneta)
Republican presidential hopefuls sounded off on President Joe Biden over the weekend, casting blame on his administration for creating conditions that allowed the terrorist group Hamas to launch a devastating surprise attack on Israel that killed more than 700 people.
“Joe Biden’s ineptitude, weakness, and incompetence has led to this horrible attack on Israel, and it will only get worse,” GOP primary front-runner former President Donald Trump said, adding that the assault never would have happened if he was president. “Zero chance.”
“Just four years ago we had the signing of the historic Abraham Accords, and today we have an attack on Israel,” he said. “What a difference a President makes!”
The Abraham Accords are bilateral agreements on Arab-Israeli relations, which were signed between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain in 2020. The agreements were mediated by the U.S. and signed at the White House during the Trump administration. As part of the agreement, both the UAE and Bahrain recognized Israel’s sovereignty, which marked the first instance of Israel establishing diplomatic relations with an Arab country since 1994.
Trump attempted to cast blame directly on Biden for funding the attack with taxpayer money, claiming that a recent deal that secured the release of five Americans detained in Iran helped to finance the assault. As part of that deal, the U.S. moved $6 billion in Iranian funds previously held in a restricted bank account in South Korea to a restricted bank account in Qatar to allow Iran to draw from the account for a narrow category of humanitarian needs, including food, medicine and medical devices.
Iran has long supported Hamas. Senior members of Hamas said that Iranian security officials helped them plan the attack and gave it their blessing last week. According to the State Department, Iran provides roughly $100 million a year to Palestinian militia groups like Hamas.
The White House National Security Council moved quickly to quash the false claim that the money involved in the release of detained Americans in Iran funded the attack, a connection drawn by other GOP primary candidates, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who said on the campaign trail in Iowa that the Biden administration is “funding Hamas and Hezbollah in big ways.”
“Not a single cent from these funds has been spent, and when it is spent, it can only be spent on things like food and medicine for the Iranian people,” a spokeswoman for the council said in a statement on Saturday. “These funds have absolutely nothing to do with the horrific attacks today and this is not the time to spread disinformation.”
DeSantis, whose fledgling campaign has run into money problems that threaten to tank his bid for president, said that beyond the funding involved in the detainee release that the Biden administration hasn’t done a good enough job monitoring Iran.
“Joe Biden’s policies that have gone easy on Iran has helped to fill their coffers,” DeSantis said, offering no details as to which policies. “Israel is now paying the price for those policies.”
He also blasted Biden for “sleeping on the job.”
“I saw the president’s comments with respect to the attacks on Israel. He said that he was up at 7:30 in the morning, but, you know, this was happening late, late last night into the early morning,” DeSantis said, referring to Biden’s televised address to Americans about the attack on Saturday.
“The president needs to be there answering the call when our top ally in the Middle East is under the gun,” he said. “You can’t be sleeping on the job. You’ve got to get there, you’ve got to do it, and you’ve got to engage.”
Notably, DeSantis led a trade delegation to Israel during his first year as governor in 2019. He visited again in April of this year and met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to celebrate a sprawling trade mission between Florida and Israel.
“I think that we need to see leadership here,” he said. “We need a very clear voice, we need strong support for the state of Israel.”
Nikki Haley, the former ambassador to the United Nations and former governor of South Carolina, who is enjoying a bit of a bump in the polls in the wake of the most recent GOP debate, said the U.S. should support Israel as it seeks to defend itself and go on the offensive.
AS USUAL, TURLEY’S COMMENTS ARE TOTALLY ONE-SIDED AND POLITICALLY-MOTIVATED.
Do tell, where IS the so-called president today, hmm? Still in hibernation?
He’s recovering from having over-eaten at the festive BBQ party he held at the White House the night of the day Israel was brutally attacked.
You can sit down and shut it, missy.
Do tell, where does the buck stop in this Biden presidency?
Does anyone know?
So, we have in this country a dysfunctional House of Representatives with a Republican majority, run by loonies like Marjorie Taylor-Greene, hell-bent on trying to get revenge on behalf of Trump, instead of governing, and who cannot even choose a leader, much less come to any agreements with Democrats over keeping our government open or providing aid to Ukraine and/or Israel (which I don’t think we should until or unless they pull Israeli settlements out of Palestinian territory). We have Republican candidates who are attacking our honestly-elected President, blaming him for Hamas attacking Israel, which makes the United States look weak and dysfunctional. We have a disgraced, twice -impeached and quadruple-indicted former President, who cheated his way into office, blustering and boasting about his ability to solve Middle Eastern turmoil, when he and Republicans made anti-Semitic remarks. Excerpted from a piece published in Wa Po in 2019:
Speaking at a presidential forum hosted by the Republican Jewish Coalition, [Trump] told members of the lobbying group, which describes itself as the “unique bridge between the Jewish community and Republican decision-makers,” that he wasn’t seeking their money because he didn’t want to be beholden to them.
“You’re not going to support me because I don’t want your money,” he said bluntly. Drawing a contrast to former Florida governor Jeb Bush, who raked in vast sums of money, Trump said, “That’s why you don’t want to give me money, okay? But that’s okay. You want to control your own politician.” He said he understood their perspective because he, too, was once a donor, a point suggesting that he didn’t view quid pro quo as an expectation unique to Jewish groups.
Still, the remarks drew criticism from some observers for perpetuating stereotypes about Jews, not just as political puppet masters but also as ruthless negotiators. “Is there anybody that doesn’t renegotiate deals in this room?” Trump asked earlier in the speech, adding, “Perhaps more than any room I’ve ever spoken to, maybe more. It’s okay. I’ve been called on that a couple of times, too.” The aside drew laughs and applause in the room.
Ari Fleischer, White House press secretary under George W. Bush and an RJC board member, was less enthused about Trump’s pitch.
But the candidate’s comment didn’t land him in hot water with his own party, which instead made him its nominee. The Jewish group’s spokesman, Mark McNulty, told CNN at the time that the comments reflected only Trump’s awareness “of the composition of our board and our audience — one that includes many successful businessmen and women as well as dealmakers like him.”
The Anti-Defamation League, which censured Omar on Monday, defended the GOP front-runner after the 2015 appearance.
“We do not believe he intended his comments regarding negotiations and money to relate specifically to their Jewishness, but we understand that they could be interpreted that way,” Jonathan A. Greenblatt, the group’s chief executive, who has spoken out against Trump on other occasions, said in a statement later that day. “We encourage him to clarify that this was not his intention, and that he rejects the traditional stereotypes about Jews and money.”
Trump appears never to have publicly clarified his intent. Instead, he went on as president to make statements that seemed to find little fault with anti-Semitic bigotry and, at times, to use language that actually upheld it.
After a deadly white nationalist rally in Charlottesville in the summer of 2017, the president said that there were “very fine people” marching among the neo-Nazis shouting “Jews will not replace us.” He has deployed the pejorative term “globalist,” used as an anti-Jewish slur in far-right circles, to describe those who dissent from his nationalist worldview. He specifically applied it to one of his most prominent Jewish advisers, former National Economic Council director Gary Cohn. And his participation in the vilification of George Soros, a liberal financier and 88-year-old Holocaust survivor, signals how decisively the conspiracy theory, which smacks of anti-Jewish fearmongering given archetypical expression by “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” has moved from the far-right fringes to the mainstream of the GOP. Sen. Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa) is a believer in the Soros claims. So is Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin (R).
In a since-deleted tweet that was posted before the November midterm election, Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), then-House majority leader, accused Soros, who had just been targeted by a homemade explosive, of seeking to “BUY this election!” Also in on the plot, he wrote, were former New York mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and Tom Steyer, a California billionaire. The two men are Jewish and of Jewish heritage, respectively.
It was McCarthy who called on Democratic leaders last week to sanction Omar and her Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), who is also Muslim, for conduct he described as “unacceptable in this country,” especially given “what this country went through in World War II.” Without explaining why, he judged their remarks to be worse than racist statements made by Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa). Both women have been critical of the Israeli government and have periodically apologized for their use of language that some found prejudicial against Jews.
Earlier this month, McCarthy had promised to take action against the Democratic lawmakers if their party’s leadership did not. That vow is what first elicited Omar’s pronouncement about the financial interests fortifying the hard line in support of Israel.”
Oh Gigi, where to even begin….
Let’s start, shall we?
“House of Representatives…..hell-bent on trying to get revenge….instead of governing”
Oh you mean like Pelosi, Schumer, and the rest of the lying psychopaths in the Democrat Party, and their Fake News Lying Propaganda Media did after their girl LOST the 2016 election and ALL they did was FABRICATE LIES about Trump and use MILLIONS of taxpayer dollars to fund a years-long PHONY Russia Collusion investigation and launch phony impeachments, and instigate Pelosi’s J6 inside-job Fedsurrection frameup — all meant to cripple Trump’s presidency and jail his supporters? instead of PROSECUTING the ACTUAL criminals and lawbreakers within the Obama government? Within the DOJ? Within the FBI? Or the BLM rioters and frauds? Or Antifa thugs? On and on and on the corruption of the psychopaths of the Democrat Party goes…..it never ends.
You can sit down and shut it, missy.
Speaking of ADL’s Greenblatt….he shamed MSNBC for their biased, disgraceful, Fake News Lying Propaganda coverage of the Hammas massacre. “Who is writing your scripts? Hammas?”
LMAO – Time for the retards to support the enemy of 10 seconds ago.
Gigi says: “We have Republican candidates who are attacking our honestly-elected President, blaming him for Hamas attacking Israel, which makes the United States look weak and dysfunctional.”
“honestly elected”??! LOL, no. Basement Biden was installed.
“blaming him for Hama attack on Israel” H*ll yes he and his policies are to blame.
“makes the US look weak and dysfunctional” Biden and his foreign policy team exude utter weakness and imbecility on the world stage.
Even if Israel could, somehow, completely eliminate Hamas, another Hamas-like organization would arise to take its place. There won’t be peace in the region until or unless Israel does right by the Palestinians who live there–allowing them to have the freedom and dignity to which they are entitled–plus stopping Israeli incursions in their territory. The Palestinian people also have rights–something Israel does not respect, and THAT is the root cause of the conflict that gives rise to an organization like Hamas. I am not excusing what Hamas did by any means or saying that Israel brought this on itself, but explaining WHY there is all of the fury and WHY other Muslim-majority nations support Palestine and are upset with the US and other countries that don’t acknowledge the rights of Palestinians or speak out against Israel when it violates these rights. There is also this–not all Palestinians support Hamas, either, but when Israel takes revenge, they’ll get injured and killed along with members of Hamas, and that’s not right. And, lastly, cutting off utilities, food and medicine to Gaza will hurt innocent Palestinians who don’t support Hamas, but also hostages who are being held there, some of whom might be missing Americans. There are hospitals in Gaza that have to have electricity, water, food and medicine to care for injured people. There are something like 2 million people living there, most of whom are NOT Hamas. This attack, hints of which were somehow missed, makes Netanyahu look bad, and this intellligence failure, along with his pending criminal problems, will likely cause him to order Israeli troops to be especially brutal and vengeful as a diversion, all of which will cause the entire confict to escalate. This is how wars get started.
“There won’t be peace in the region until or unless Israel does right by the Palestinians who live there . . .”
Is the Left just ignorant about the Hamas/Iran ideology? Or does it consciously wish to eradicate Israel?
Hamas/Iran do not want a “Two-State Solution.” The want the “Final Solution.”
Sam
Sure thang, blabber it a million more times maybe someone (an idiot) will believe you.
Gigi,
Forget about electing a new speaker of the House, this country needs to know if we even have a functioning real president. (we do not.)
Hamas is threatening to execute civilian hostages, including Americans, on live TV.
President Biden called a lid today. Too tired after he and the Dr. hosted a BBQ party….because why not??
Where is the American president?
What is Joe Biden doing about this?
NOTHING.
America has never been less safe.
The world has never been less safe.
Joe Biden is a disgrace.
Which alt-right media outlet came up with the “Joe Biden is missing” lie that several of you MAGA-ites keep repeating? Biden has been all over the place–speaking an coordinating with our allies on a response, speaking with Israeli officials and ordering Navy vessels to the area (even though, thanks to Tommy Tuberville, the Navy doesn’t have a commander because he’s too hell-bent on saving those unborn babies conceived by service women).
Not trying to blame, ARE blaming. I suppose it’s Trump’s fault, right??
Gigi the LIAR
It’s almost like the PRESIDENT is not responsible for jack sh*t in HIS OWN ADMINISTRATION!
For Democrats and their lying propaganda fake news media it is still Trump’s fault.
Unreal. The Democrat party are full-on lying psychopaths.
Where is Biden?
Where does the buck stop in the Biden admin?
Who is in charge in the Biden admin?
And again, where IS Biden?
WHERE IS THE ALLEGED PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES?
At the beach? Again? Still?
Jeezus we are in trouble as a country.
NEWSFLASH Democrats: BIDEN is the so-called PRESIDENT, for 3 years now.
The buck stops with Biden.
EVERYTHING that happens on his watch is HIS responsibility, his fault.
Kapiche?
You know what REALLY makes America look weak? Donald Trump, and international joke. The rest of the civilized world sees him for the bloated, lying narcissist he is and can’t believe he’s still walking around, free, lying his massive axx off, insulting our chosen President, and attacking law enforcement because they dare to hold him accountable for his conduct–actions which he does not deny. He STOLE classified documents, some of which involve our strategies, resources and capabilities in a conflict with Iran–did these papers or their contents get into the wrong hands? He disclosed the capabilities of our nuclear submarines and how close they could come to Russian ships before being detected. Why–other than to show off? Anyone else who stole such papers would have been jailed a long time ago. He goes around mouthing off about the conflicts in Ukraine and Israel not possibly happening if he was stinking up wthe White House–because everything is and always will be, all about him. He lacks a basic understanding of how the world works and the underlying causes of the conflicts. BUT, if the fat narcissist was still in power, somehow Hamas and Russia would fear him and not dare to start a war. Do you MAGAites realize just how stupid and arrogant his bluster and bloviating sounds to the rest of the world?
From the Inquisitr:
“Donald Trump’s actions from when he was president are now coming under censure after the attack on Israel by the militant group Hamas.
In 2017, less than four months into his term, former president Trump reportedly boasted to Sergey Lavrov and Sergei Kislyak, the foreign minister and ambassador of Russia, about the caliber of the briefings he was receiving and provided information to the Russian ambassadors about a covert Israeli intelligence operation into Syria as evidence, HuffPost reported.
According to the Israeli press at the time, Israeli intelligence officers were outraged when they learned of the leak because, given Russia’s close ties to Iran and Syria, they had to presume that their local source for the information had been compromised and possibly killed. “If indeed Trump, out of innocence or ignorance, leaked information to the Russians, then there is a real danger to sources that it took years to acquire, and to our working methods,” an Israeli intelligence source said, per the New York Times.
“If tomorrow I were asked to pass information to the CIA, I would do everything I could to not pass it to them. Or I would first protect myself and only then give it, and what I’d give would be totally neutered,” Shabtai Shavit, an ex-Mossad officer told the Times of Israel at the time.”
NOW, WHY did he do this–other than to show off what a big shot he is, and/or to pay back Putin for his help in getting into the White House?
Because Intel wanted him to, so they could trace the networks out.
Did you read the story or just focus on your TDS ?
Israeli force on a helicopter zooming into syria – purportedly to stop some Isis cell “getting information on how to make a laptop bomb pass airport security”.
Well, how stupid is that ? Information then and today is passed in milliseconds, so any design by their named suspect is transferred to any Isis cell in those same milliseconds.
Next, they implemented no laptops through their airports, before they didn’t with the vague excuse the USA increased security.
No part of any story claims anyone was taken out because of TDS.
It’s all BS smoke and mirrors.
If any enemy designer has the goods, the only counter is upgrading detection. If you’re spying on the enemy designer then he is sending his designs to whomever he wants – connected is connected. Everyone’s connected.
A big fat stupid nothingburger. The world deosn’t work the way the libturd brain assumes, and this one should be obvious.
If you paid attention to the source I cited, you would see that it came from an ISRAELI news outlet and the context of Trump’s misconduct was from a Mossad officer, who said that what Trump did was wrong. WHERE did your information come from? Do you think anyone believes that Israel WANTED their sources and methods disclosed to Russia, an ally of Syria and Iran? This was just another example of Trump’s stupidity and putting his ego first–he was bragging and showing off to the Russians–symptoms of his narcissism.
Ummm, this is a political debate. Why would he not be motivated to speak his view? Also, Capitals are for adults.
