If Boris Pasternak is right that “no bad man can be a good poet,” it does not say much for the work of Stephen Redic. The 70-year-old poet was caught on videotape verbally abusing a young Turning Point member in New Hampshire at a polling area and then slapping him. The victim did nothing to provoke Redic, who became unhinged by Rainer Vesey who was engaging bystanders with a chance to debate issues in this election. The videotape is another example of the rising rage where some irate voters believe that they have a license to engage in political violence.
Charlie Kirk recognized that Bernie Bros are clueless debaters. That’s why Kirk was so eager to debate them.
The Bros didn’t know how to argue. So they just stood there and let Charlie Kirk take over. But instead of educating the Bros, Kirk misinformed them with bogus talking points.
More BS from Anon. Get a job ANON!
ANON=clueless
Turning Point is cult that, like most cults, encourages their members to seek confrontation with the general public and use comfort of them after the rejection by the general public as proof of how much the cult loves them and is there to protect them. The Turning Point cult members are being groomed, as every cult does, to serve the cult leadership.
“Change my mind” is a lie. The cult members have no intention of accepting changing their minds. To do so would require them to quit Turning Point and the positions they have as part of their existence; cult members rarely quit from outside influence. The point of these missions is to cement that dependency on the cult for emotional support.
Typical cults are operated by charismatic charlatans who have the chance to commit suicide and murder their followers, seeing an end to them. Turning Point is operated by millionaires and billionaires as a tool to disrupt higher education and form a group that is likely to storm the U.S. Capitol building and infiltrate the courts. They need to keep the cult members alive and well until the oligarchs who operate Turning Point need them for some mission.
There is a reason that nothing of the “debate” offered by the child is shown. Certainly the child was never educated to respect his elders. No doubt the child was coached in how to maximize the chances of an assault which is why that is not part of the video. Goading others to violence is a teachable skill; it mainly requires a gullible mark. Identifying a mark is also a teachable skill. It worked for Trump on the infamous Jan 6th; no reason the same would not be used elsewhere.
More BS from ANON!
Look up pithy in the dictionary. Now use it in a sentence.
You used a lot of words to insult people.
anna1leal, who was insulted?
Are you in a cult? It can be disorienting and painful to get information from outside the bubble.
Still, we are out here, ready to welcome you back into society.

Anon= Dumb F**K
No turning point is deprogrammers trying to get you left wing nuts OU of a cult.
No they do not use confrontation – nor do they deal with the general public, and if you think they cause discomfort – you need not get near them.
They go to colleges and set up booths or tables where they take questions from anyone and then they address those questions.
It is left wing nuts that CONFRONT them – often violently – not the other way arround.
You need not go near them, they stay inside designated free speech zones on colleges that have those – though I really thought free speech was supposed to be anywhere on college – so long as it is not disrupting a class or other scheduled event.
Turning point members are grooming themselves – or more accurately they are learning by practice – and we would hope that the students were too.
Open debate sharpens minds – it sharpens those of TP members and if students engage honestly it sharpens theirs. This is a means of education that is many millenia old.
Regardless if it is not to your taste – stay away from their table.
“”Change my mind” is a lie. The cult members have no intention of accepting changing their minds.”
Of course they do – Charlie Kirk before you murdered him changed his mind on a number of issues.
He did not suddenly become a left wing nut – but on very rare occasions students did point out weaknesses in some of his positions and he revised them. I would note this is not new. Milton freedman did exactly this on colleges, in seminars even on the Donahue show.
he allowed the audience to ask him questions and provided responses base on the laws of economics and the facts, Again on rare occassion people raised a point that caused him to revise an argument – that not commonly – Freidman was a nobel prize winning economist and one of the 4 top economists of the past century. As I noted – it was uncommon for Friedman to revise a position or change his mind – but that was first because he was already one of the most brilliant and knowledgeable economists in the world. And next because The more we debate with others the more we learn and the more we revise our own arguments – making them better until it is very rare for someone to point out an error or find an inconsistancy – because you have fielded 100’s of thousands of questions.
I would strongly suggest that those of you on the left should try this. Engage in debate with people who disagree without, Do so specifically because you are looking to test your own positions. When you find error or inconsistancies – think about them and work them out.
While much of my life the interlocutor that has challenged me – has been me, I have always sought out others to bounce my ideas off of and to be challenged by theirs. Quite often my positions have changed or shifted – because I identified inconsistancies or flaws in my own arguments or because debating with others exposed in consistancies. Real change occurs most often in domains that I have positions – but not really engaged in challenged thought.
BTW this is how the smartest people in the world learn – by debating ideas with others.
If you wish to be trapped in your own cult – DO NOT discuss what you beleive outside that cult.
“To do so would require them to quit Turning Point”
absolutely – and that is the point. We – pretty much all intelligent people engage in debate because when inconsistancies in our positions are exposed we MUST revise our positions to eliminate those inconsisancies and correct errors.
This is essentially the scientific method.
Cult members do not quit because of outside influences because they are deliberately isolated from them.
“The point of these missions is to cement that dependency on the cult for emotional support.”
This is an absurd argument that only someone who as never engaged in a challenging debate would make.
All debate comes with the risk that YOU might find your own views do not hold up.
“Typical cults are operated by charismatic charlatans who have the chance to commit suicide and murder their followers, seeing an end to them. “
Yet it is the left that murdered Charlie Kirk and that is constantly engaged in violence to TP USA members.
“Turning Point is operated by millionaires and billionaires as a tool to disrupt higher education and form a group that is likely to storm the U.S. Capitol building and infiltrate the courts. “
Because you say so ? TPUSA was not at Jan 6. They have specific tasks they perform. They do a wide variety of on campus debates.
The engage in GOTV efforts, and they act as poll watchers to prevent election fraud.
Generally TPUSA members move on to interns for politicians – local, state and federal,
“There is a reason that nothing of the “debate” offered by the child is shown.”
TPUSA records these events for many reasons – one of them is to prosecute those that assault them which happens frequently.
But another is for the educational value of the debate – videos are available on their web site.
But they also allow and encourage people to record exchanges themselves and most do.
With absolute certainty the verbal exchange with the poet was recorded by many many people – as well as the violence that followed.
“Certainly the child was never educated to respect his elders.”
TPUSA members are not children – they are adults, and in the unlikely event they have not be taught to respect the people they debate with TPUSA will teach them that. If you are part of TPUSA and you are unable to engage in respectful and peaceful debate you will be out.
” No doubt the child was coached in how to maximize the chances of an assault which is why that is not part of the video.”
No the opposite.
Most assaults of TPUSA members on college campuses are not prosecuted and do not result in discipline by the college.
Nor are TPUSA members unaware of the possibility that they could be assassinated like Charlie Kirk – Left wing nuts are ALWAYS dangerous – no one tries to provoke them to violence.
Regardless that is a stupid argument. If you respond to words with violence YOU are the criminal. If you are “goaded” into violence – that is YOUR problem. You are not entitled to protection from words that you do not like. You are ALWAYS free to walk away.
This is one of the most insanely stupid posts I have ever seen here.
You clearly have not thought about anything you have said.
Free speech is a right – but each and everyone of us has the right to avoid speech we do not like by WALKING AWAY.
TPUSA does not chase people – doing so is often illegal. They stay in one place and if you wish to hear them or speak to them you must come to them, and you are free to leave at anytime.
This is true not just of TPUSA events – but of speach almost everywhere almost any time.
In public you are not required to listen to speech that you do not like – you ALWAYS have the right to walk away.
In your home you are free to require those whose speech you do not like to leave your home.
These rights are ancient.
The old Bernie wannabe is a violent leftist. All leftists are violent. It is obvious they want us all dead.
This is precisely why ANON is full of SH*T.
So now just wanting to debate is “Goading others to violence?” You are excusing violence as “goading.” The vast majority of riots come from the left. There have been thousands of protests and a lot with violence since 2017. All but your favorite, Jan. 6th were coming from the left. All you seem to want is YOUR “cult” to refuse to debate and silence those with opposing views.
More liberal tolerance …
Demoncrap’s favorite debate technique: slapping.
He should be hung by the neck until dead:
Just kidding.
But he should be 5150’d. (72 hour hold)
Last week Donald Trump kept making comments about the butts of certain men and how manly those butts looked to him.
Trump’s comments dont necessarily mean Trump is really gay. But they could easily represent early signs of dementia.
That’s how dementia often looks: ‘Weird comments, out of left field, that are totally out of character for the senior in question’.
And that could easily be the case with the old man featured here. He might be someone who was normally gentle and low key. But lately he’s been saying things totally out of character.
“Last Week …”
And for the past 60 years.
Donald Trump has an infinitely long history af making comments that are a distraction from whatever issue he is talking about.
No the remark is not out of character – those of you on the left have commenting on Trump remarks exactly like this since 2015.
That is absolutely nothing new. There is no indication Trump is getting dementia.
There is no indication he is not in excellent health – I doubt you could have managed the 30 day straight campaign swing he did – even if it did not work.
Actual demensia usually emerged much earlier – Contra left wing nuts Biden was showing clear signs of impairment in 2015.
If Trump was developing Dementia it should have shown signs a decade ago.
Trump is 80 While the odds heavily favor his living to 2028 without any impairment, With certainty his health is NOT going to improve over time, and he COULD die tomorow. He is far more likely to die by 2028 than Vance or Rubio.
I do expect that over the next 2 years we will see more of Vance and less of Trump.
Further there were SLIGHT differences in Vances response to this election and Trumps.
Vance said more about Where Republicans need to go in the future.
Trump took responsibility, attributed the results to the war, and stated that he had no choice.
Right, John Say, Trump has a long history of getting distracted and veering off the rabbit hole. But Trump has never talked about mens butts before.
What’s more, dementia is very common for seniors at 80. Furthermore, it’s odd Republicans voted for Trump after making so much out of Biden’s old age. It’s like Republicans said, “Oh yeah? ‘We’ can elect a senile old man too”.
SENILE ANON!!!
Kirk is ESTOVIR, of course; the blog’s puppeteer.
F OFF PSYCHO MORON ANON! DF PSYCHO THINKS EVERYONE IS ESTOVIR OR DUSTOFF!!
Loony bin would be a great fit for PSYCHO MORON ANON!!
“Right, John Say, Trump has a long history of getting distracted and veering off the rabbit hole. But Trump has never talked about mens butts before.”
I doubt he has talked about Chinese checkers before – but doing so tomorrow is not evidence of dimension.
As a rule Demensia takes new memory first.
“What’s more, dementia is very common for seniors at 80.”
Is 13% “very common” ?
I do not think so.
“Furthermore, it’s odd Republicans voted for Trump after making so much out of Biden’s old age.”
Few made Bidens physical age a problem – it was his physical and mental decline.
Biden went through the pretty normal steady decline of Alzheimers – progressing slowly over more than a decade.
“It’s like Republicans said, “Oh yeah? ‘We’ can elect a senile old man too”.”
But they have not. Trump’s moca score is 30 – anything from 28-30 is absolutely no cognitive impairment.
You can take a moca test yourself – they are available online. They test various forms of cognitive impairment.
For people without impairment the test is very easy. But any of a variety of different impairments will make one part or another of the test impossible.
My father was an architect – his ability to draw was excellent. He developed vascular dementia – which has a must faster rate of decline,
And could no longer draw a clock that anyone could recognize. He reached a MOCA of 16 in 3 years.
Biden does not likely have vascular dementia – but I would be shocked if his MOCA score was much about 20 when he left office.
One sign of dementia is spelling errors and strange punctuation. John Say should have a checkup.
Another sign of dementia is frequent cognition tests.
A further sign is repetition. Trump manages to put “like never seen before” and “like never before” and “nobody as seen before” in most every discussion. It’s a verbal tic that he places frequently due to the inability to complete a thought.
What is most likely happening is that Trump’s filters are breaking down and he is letting his inner homosexual personality leak out. His love of the “YMCA” song, for example and now, muscular men’s butts.
Homosexual Anon!
Verbosity doesn’t mean you are right. It doesn’t make you sound intelligent.
“One sign of dementia is spelling errors and strange punctuation.”
Nope. It is a sign that no one is paying me and I do not give a damn about spelling errors and punctuation.
It is also a sign that I frequently use a wireless keyboard that sometimes can not keep up with my typing.
” John Say should have a checkup.”
Because you say so ? Regardless – the MOCA is available here – https://mocacognition.com/
You can give it to yourself.
“Another sign of dementia is frequent cognition tests.”
Never actually had one – but I have given them to others
“A further sign is repetition. “
Nope. in fact not being able to repeat things is a sign of cognative decline.
“Trump manages to put “like never seen before” and “like never before” and “nobody as seen before” in most every discussion.”
And he has all the time.
“It’s a verbal tic” no it is actually likely to be a deliberate aspect of his speaking style. Certain forms of exageration are very effective at improving communications and persuasion – even when we know that they are exagerations.
“that he places frequently due to the inability to complete a thought.”
Has nothing to do with thought.
“What is most likely happening is that Trump’s filters are breaking down”
That is possible but it is independent of cognative decline – most peoples filters diminish slowly with age – as well as their ability to tolerate fools.
“he is letting his inner homosexual personality leak out. His love of the “YMCA” song, for example and now, muscular men’s butts.”
While I think you are wrong – SO WHAT ?
I thought those of you on the left were pro homosexuality ?
Regardless – I strongly suspect sexual preference distributes on a bell curve – must human attributes do.
The majority of us are primarily heterosexual but have a small attraction to the same sex. That favors the survival of the species as well as diminishing conflict in same sex situations.
Regardless outside of left wing nuts – most people know that Trump does not have problems with homosexuality. There have been many openly gay people work for him.
Weird comments, out of left field fits ANON 100%!!! What a BOZO ANON is!!
ANON SURE IS AN ASS!
He uses a lot of words to insult people.
And when he’s not insulting, he’s incoherent and hateful.
Trump has been saying weird things in his speeches since 2013, when he believed he had been named “Michigan’s Man of the Year.” He had merely been invited by the Oakland County (MI) Republicans to speak at their Lincoln Day Dinner.
A member reported he rambled over “every topic under the sun.”
I first hear Trump at my brothers college Graduation from Lehigh in 1984 I beleive – he was ALOT younger, he spoke much as he does today.
The left has no sense of humor.
