Cézanne Was A Wimp . . . This Is True Water Colors

I just saw this video of a man painting on water that is so amazing that I had to share it.

I am not sure how someone came up with this idea but the process itself is pretty mesmerizing.

    I’ve painted a bit (mostly acrylics and watercolors) and I’ll have to say that is one of the strangest techniques I’ve ever seen. The most impressive part to me was the deft touch required in transferring the image from the water to paper. Everything could go horribly wrong at that very moment. Very interesting.

    The technique has been known in Asia since 986 CE; in Europe since the 17th C. It’s how paper is marbled.
