Invasion! Montgomery County Police Cross State Line and Conduct Raid in Washington D.C.

180px-MD_-_Montgomery_County_PoliceThe Montgomery County police conducted a raid on a home roughly a quarter of a mile in the territory of Washington, D.C. It appears that the Montgomery County police rented themselves and their vehicles to a television production company for a show called “Prison Wives” and proceeded to conduct the raid without notifying the District of Columbia.

D.C. residents were terrified when officers with guns drawn and police cars blaring raided a home in Northwest D.C.

This was all done for a cable show for Investigation Discovery on women who fall in love and marry prisoners.

I am not sure what is more disturbing: the fact that police are now rented out like cheap extras or that a raid is conducted with county cars for a cheap cable show. They are not alone in this theater of the absurd, here.

  1. “WHEN DIDE I EVER SAY I WAS FRAMED YOU JUDGEMENTAL ARROGANT!

WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!”

“My lawyer told me to plead out real quick and get out of the way. I felt I could beat the case> but my lawyer along w/some of my other co-defendants had been down that road w/the feds. They knew, all things being equal, that we might very well be able to beat it. But nothing is equal w/the feds so I was advised to take the lesser course of valor. They told me that was what they were going to do. They explained to me that the feds knew the case was garbage so they’d be happy w/the symbolism of all of us taking our guilty plea’s to give the feds their notch on their belt and trophy to mount. So maybe we would have to do a little time when in a fair system we could beat them but the benefit was that we were saving ourselves from the wrath of the feds. letting them be happy w/their pound of flesh and allowing us to fight another day.”

Me, I’m just a guy who reads what you say, laughs, and then reads between the lines. You accept full responsibility, but of course, you could have beaten the rap but were pressured into your wrongful concession by the big bad feds. Big Boy, indeed. Sure, I’d love to see that pre-sentence report for all the crimes you could have beaten but didn’t. You’re a criminal and worthy only of the scorn most feel about you. That you have something to say is completely obliterated by your breaching the rules the rest of us live by and some of us uphold everyday. I, like many, distrust everything you say, have said, or are likely to say. You’ll get no quarter from me, and less respect. Tell your victims you’ve changed and are ready to make reparations. You can spare your breath on me. As for being one of the “Big Boys,” I don’t see any evidence of it in your post. I see a little man, loaded with big chips on his shoulders seeking respect from respectable society. It’s a futile quest, but like Don Quixote’s, usually attempted by a man relying on his ass to see him through.

  2. Sil1,

You should have stopped and inquired why mespo said that rather than Juggler attack. He is not a bad source of information. Even if you do not agree with his brand of law, he still may be able to teach you something.

The older I go the more I remember I don’t know. On the inside or out you learn or die. So, if I may suggest slow down on the direct attacks. This is a fairly literate site. I won’t say liberal, I will say though a site where a lot of folks get together and chop the tree down in words. So that the next time we come back, it will still be there for us, if not protection the shade. So, relax and do some apologizes here. If your up to it.

  3. MESAPO,

Certainly you would be star-struck by the feds.

That is their goal, to have lap-dogs like you in their midst believing all their hype.

Let me add naive to tyour list of lesser characterizations.

I could’ve beat the case as could’ve all of my co-defendants. Why do you think the feds gave us all the GLOBAL plea? B/c they knew the case was weak. So it was a business decision all the way around. And everyone won.

See, it’s little punks like you in the court room that mess it up. That’s why you don’t operate in the big leaugues defending the big boys. You already exposed the fact that you don’t so don’t try to back track now.

We ever saw a guy like you coming, we’d tell you to go back where you came before you hurt yourself.

  4. MESAPO,

WHEN DIDE I EVER SAY I WAS FRAMED YOU JUDGEMENTAL ARROGANT!

WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!

IN EVERY POST I TOOK FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY CRIMES AND LIFE!

WHY SHOULD I FEEL shame WHEN I WAS A MAN AMONGST MEN!

YOU SHOULD QUOTE ME CORRECTLY AND IN CONTEXT!

You are nothing but an igniorant, smug punk. You could never match the standards of those I have been around. Anyone who would associate themselves w/such a disrespectful, dishonest, outright lying person should themselves be shamed.

YOU WILL SEE I PROUDLY ACCEPTED RESPONSIBILITY FOR EVERYTHING I DID.

  5. Mespo,

If you read my post and were not a dishonest cherry-picker, you would know that I NEVER tried to diminish my involvement in my crimes. I proudly accepted the life I lived. And before my priorities changed I wore my “marked man” status as a badge of honor.

I took w/pride that I lived my life in defiance and had already accepted the responsibility of my actions. I did my time standing on my head b/c nobody was ever going to make me back down from what I represented.

At least I could say I lived as a man. I had honor and respect in the game. There was no where in the feds I couldn’t go w/out getting love. On the streets my reputation as a stand up guy and one who’s word counted enabled me to go ANYWHERE in the world. People were PROUD to have ME drop THERE NAMES.

How many of those corrpt feds can say that. B/c if they can still put their heads down at night knowing they gave a day of excess time to some kid selling bags of dope in the ghetto to put food on the table then I pray for their souls. B/c to me all those that deserve their time isn’t worth giving a MILLI-SECOND of undeserved time to an innocent or someone who had minimal exposure in their case.

It’s propagandists like you who make those lazy do nothing feds seem as if they’re involved in a noble cause. Nothing could be further from the truth and these stupid cop shows don’t help.

And the next time you try to quote me to attack me put it in context, you ignorant.

I have more credibility b/c I admitted my guilt and accepted it . MY concern is for those who fall through the cracks and never get a second chance b/c of the corrupt, unsympathetic cops and prosecutors who run the system.

QUOTE THAT! YOU IGNORANT, ARROGANT, PSUEDO INTELLECTUAL.

  6. AY,

Once again, thank you for the compliment.

The only reason why I jumped ugly the way I did was b/c I was attacked b/c everyone thought I was anti-“progressive” (That’s what I call them, though they may not believe they are)

I was trying to expose the hypocricy. As I was trying to explain to everyone, I believe in having an individual opinion. Just b/c I have one conservative view, does not make me a “neo-con”. Just b/c I have a liberal view does not make me a “progressive.

Why can’t we have some “neo-con”views, some “progressive”, some “libertarian” , some “conservative”, others “liberal”? Why does every position have to be straight along party-lines? Why do we have to vote the straight ticket? Why are we conditioned to believe it has to be that way? Why do we have to manipulate our own thoughts and actions to fit the view that the masters tell us? Why does it have to be either/or? And why can we only choose a Dem or Repub?

What about someone who believes in a strong defense, is unsure about climate change, believes abortion is a personal choice, supports school vouchers, believes in the effectiveness in medicinal marajuana, has strong feelings about human rights, doesn’t see anything wrong w/the pledge of alligience, believes in the rights of the accused, is soft on crime, believes in states rights, is not politically correct?

That’s all over the place and in the either/or, win or lose system that’s forced down our throats we have no other choice. So what do we do? We prioritize. We sell ourselves out in one respect to protect our other interests.

My point was to prove the biases and hypocricies.

I thank you for your engagement.

  7. “I can attest for certain that these cops/feds are the laziest, gluttonous, selfish, corrupt, ego-maniacl, smug people on the face of the planet. They don’t move a muscle for anyone and only as a last resort. They’re bully’s and punks hiding behind a badge to steal a paycheck and only to indulge in all the fringe benefits the job has to offer.”

    ***********

Imagine this pearl of wisdom coming from anyone other than a felon caught in his own misdoing. I bet the officers who arrested him had bad breath and poor haircuts. Funny how the Judge had no trepidation sending our little rascal to his well-earned reward, and like everyone else there, “he was framed.” He felt he could beat the case. LOL. If his judgment was no better than what is on display here, I thing his lawyer was Daniel Webster to get this punk to take his punishment like a man instead of wasting all of our time watching him get all of his time. I find the feds professional, and while not perfect, infinitely better than their lesser trained and lesser paid local brethren, but then again I ‘ve never had to accompany them frog-walking into the lock-up in those snazzy blaze-orange scrubs.

  8. AY,

Didn’t have a bad lawyer. It cost me a fortune but he did me good. There’s not much you can do when the feds come calling. Pick up a fed beef and you know you better pack your toothbrush b/c you’re doing time guaranteed.

The feds deny nearly EVERYONE bail. No matter you’re exposure, the feds are gonna manipulate somethimng that keeps you locked up. And you might as well b/c practically NO one beats a fed beef. So you might as well hunker down and get that time served under your belt. Lawyers don’t even like wasting their time bringing a motion for bail b/c they know it’s almost a guaranteed denial.

The feds are dirty and they don’t lose. They’ll tell you, plead out and will tell the judge to go easy; take it to trial and lose and we’ll ask for the max. When the difference between the 2 offers are decades; what do you think people do? And tell me how that’s not another brand of extortion.

When the feds w/all their pomp-and-circumstance and all the power and majesty the bring, when they indict you

THE UNITED STATES vs. YOUR NAME

How do you think that plays to the jury. These average citizens are in AWE and think you must be the baddest person alive to committ a crime against the UNITED STATES. It’s frieghtening. And even more so when you realize that the feds just look art you noyt as a living breathing human being w/people that love you but as just a piece of meat that guarantees there job to feed the system of all the other feds dependent on your existence and incarceration for thier livlihood.

I make no apologies for myself> I was a committed criminal, proud of what I represented and ready to face my oppressors. But believe me, I did time w/guys who weren’t nearly the caliber of myself or my friends who had there lives thrown away forever b/c they got caught up in the feds #’s game.

Contrary to what people think, there is NO parole in the feds anymore. The only guys still under the parole system are Washington D.C. guys and guys w/old fed beefs (pre ’87) I believe. Nowadays if you pick up a fed beef, you’re doing 87% of the sentence. That’s a measly 54 good days a year, whether you’re doing 5, 10, 15 or 20 years.

So there’s kids that get tied into some loose conspiracy that the feds “scotched taped” together, b/c they LOVE big cases; so the more defendants they can link into a conspiracy no matter how flimsy the evidence, the better. These kids get slammed.

In my cvase the only connection some of us had was the vowel at the end of our name. My lawyer told me to plead out real quick and get out of the way. So maybe we would have to do a little time when in a fair system we could beat them but the benefit was that we were saving ourselves from the wrath of the feds. letting them be happy w/their pound of flesh and allowing us to fight another day.

That’s how it works in the feds. But not everyone has a lawyer who knows or even one who cares. Most are just scared to death sell-outs, feeding and feeding off the sytem.

Oh ya, thanks for the compliment

  9. Sil1,

I could not disagree with thing that you have said. It is well thought out and your thoughts. So why were you tactically offensive to everyone, when clearly you have an Opinion and counts here.

  10. puzzling,

Federal law enforcements knows NO borders as it already exisits. All these inter-agency task forces are funded by the feds. The locals and staties get star-struck and wet in the loins just w/the idea of being part of a task force attached to the feds. They do all the leg work building cases then the feds swoop in and cherry-pick all the high profile cases to get all the glory and accolades.

These feds sit around like the pompous punks they’re trained to be sp[reading their money and badges to bully everyone around.

The only thing local being done is mundane police work and ticket writing. Any significant cases are all funded by the feds. And like I said, they just attach a fed or two to the task force. Then in addition to the cherry picking of state and local cases that these heavy-fisted feds engage in, if there’s some significant players in the case the feds may chop off just those key players, flip them and make a nice big fed case.

Unbeknownst to many, every single county jail is getting BIG TIME money from the feds just to house pre-trial feds. Over half the county jail population in many spots are fed guys awaiting trial and sentencing. The feds pick up so many cases that they could never build exclusive fed holding facilities. So it’s easier to just pay the county to hold the pre-trial inmates untill they get sentenced and are resdy for the air lift.

These counties are making money hand over fist with fed inmates. They get a set price per head and the feds pick up the tab for all the inmates meds and every other extra. It’s a boondoggle. These counties fight over making space to house feds. They couldn’t survive w/out the feds.

Whether it’s official or not, ALL policing is ALREADY federalized. The feds are taking cases from states they legally have no jourisdiction taking. And they keep writing statutes to broaden their powers.

Back when Giuliani was running NYC, he declared a certain day in the week “federal day”. Anybody busted that day picked themselves up a fed beef. All these poor inner city nobodies that sold a bag of dope on a certain day were looking at a fed beef but if you got busted on another day you might only be looking at county time.

Now we could argue all day about how deserving or undeserving a criminal is of their punishment. And my attitude was always that if you were gonna do the crime and live that life you better assume the responsibility for the time you may face if caught.

BUT we’re talking a larger issue here, STATES are suppossed to have soveriegnty. STATES are suppossed to be able to police their citizens. If you don’t like the laws enacted by the reps of one state you should be able to move to another. But when the feds step in w/their power and start throwing around their money and intimidating people then everybody gets corrupted and compromised. Power gets centralized and we all become subjects following the dictates of the feds.

This “hero” worship of corrupt, lazy, dishonest law enforcement officer’s who do NOT care about “to-protect-and-serve” BUT only care about “self glorification-praise-graft-and-cronyism” only enslaves us to an authoritarian master. Believe me when I tell you, that “Norman Rockwell” picture of the cop helping the runaway is dead. And it’s these glossy, action-packed cop shows that are part of the problem. B/c there’s no sense to a cop being a cop anymore unless they living a true life version of “Bad Boys”.

The feds are doing this everyday in the lives of Americans. Little by little usurping more of our liberties right under our noses.

  11. Town, county, and state lines won’t matter when policing is federalized.

I think the feds, states and police unions all would accept such a proposition. The states could push all law enforcement costs onto the federal government, a huge economic relief. The police get even better benefits, more secure pay, and broader powers. The feds get to direct that power and take yet one more step in the quest to control all aspects of our lives and governance.

Only our Constitution and ideals lose, but that’s nothing new.

  12. Sil1,

Guess you were a victim of a bad attorney. So why the crapola spouted when you clearly have the ability to be reasonable. These folks here (most of them) can be quite reasonable and informative.

If you insult the intelligence and or ideals of the person that you are addressing. Some of them here will give you a dressing down. I would apologize to the ones that you have insulted and start over.

  13. Already gave several lessons on validity. If you do not have a basic understanding then, all I can say is that your ignorance knows no bounds.

As I advised Mike S, keep your day job b/c your attempts at humor are lame at best

But, most warrants are invalid b/c the corrupt officers lie to the judges to get them. They used fabricated info from fabricated informants.

But we live in such a pro-police stste these warrants are rarely ever challenged by the scared to death, deal making attorney’s who ,even if the get a pair, do not even want to waste their time b/c they know the judges are going to deny them anyway.

  14. So would this be an exception to a Valid Warrant requirement? Honest mistake, you know they can be confusing.

  15. So after they staged this raid were these “hero’s” going to portay the “raid” as if it was real life?

Where they going to stand around congratulating each other and slaooing-backs for a job well done?

Would we then get the obligatory scene as the commanding officer calls his stressed put wife (who probably is being as hoodwinked as us)to tell her he’s going to be home for dinner?

    ETC.

    ETC.

    ETC.

As they go back to production to orchestrate the next episode to out do the competing cop shows.

  16. This is just an example of cops living their super cop fantasies so they can play the “hero” in there own minds and to play “hero” to their own family/friends/acquaintences and strangers and whoever else they need to excuse themselves to for their brutish and generally inhumane behavior.

I have had many dealings w/cops and especially feds. And I can guarantee irrefutably that all these “cop” shows are nothing but fantasy.

They are scripted to the same degree as a Hollywood movie.

I can attest for certain that these cops/feds are the laziest, gluttonous, selfish, corrupt, ego-maniacl, smug people on the face of the planet. They don’t move a muscle for anyone and only as a last resort. They’re bully’s and punks hiding behind a badge to steal a paycheck and only to indulge in all the fringe benefits the job has to offer.
They couldn’t solve a case or find a clue unless they have corroporators giving them every piece of info and only then if they are led by the hand.

This show “cops” and every other one like it are a detriment to the American public. Whenever a cop “interacts” with a “civilian” the theme song from “cops” is playing in there head as they imagine themselves a “star” on the screen. So you’re sitting there woundering why this “storm trooper” pulled you over as you’re handing him his liscence while this brainwashed maniac is waiting for you to give him the “excuse” he’s been dying for to be the “hero” like all them other yahoo’s on these “cop” shows.

They oughtta take all these shows off the air so people can stop getting hurt by these LAWLESS maniacs!!!!

  17. Meanwhile, back in Hollywood . . .

“See here, JR, it has all the spectacle of the Roman Coliseum and it’s as cheap to shoot as “The Hills”. We hire the Illinois State Police and National Guard to invade Iowa. We’ll call it “Capturing the Corn: The War on Vegans”! No, no, we’ll loose the hippie crowd with that . . . how about we have them attack Indiana instead and call it “Mean Green: The War for the Rustbelt”. Yeah, that’s now, that’s today, all the kids love the green. It’ll be a ratings bonanza! I can smell those ad revenues now . . . “

  18. “This was all done for a cable show for Investigation Discovery on women who fall in love and marry prisoners.”

    WOW!

  19. What is most disturbing, in a totally disturbing story is how far the encroachment of entertainment has crossed the line into
our criminal justice system. From the production and distribution end these a very cheap shows to produce and thus even generating moderate profits are good money makers. From the law enforcement perspective, however, these police reality shows demean the system and dishonor the participants. However,
we live in an age where most anyone will do anything to get themselves on TV. For the very few who find this a lucrative career choice, Elizabeth Hasselback comes to mind, there are th overwhelming many who merely look ridiculous. For the police officers they are disgracing their oaths and their uniforms.
