Texas Will Not Revoke License of Bigot Gun Instructor Who Agrees To Train “The Enemy”

The Texas Dept. of Public Safety will not revoke or suspend the license of Crockett Keller, a handgun instructor who ran a radio ad telling Muslims and non-Christian Arabs that he would not teach them how to handle a firearm. Keller has agreed that he will train Muslims while adding that he views them as “the enemy.”

The DPS statement said Crockett Keller agreed that he would not refuse handgun instruction “to anyone based on national origin, race or religion.” Note that did not include political associations so liberal Muslims might have to shop around.

Keller insists that “I’m not a mean individual,” but wanted the world to know that liberals and Muslims are not welcomed. His commercial stated that “If you are a socialist liberal and/or voted for the current campaigner-in-chief, please do not take this class . . . Also, if you are a non-Christian Arab or Muslim, I will not teach you this class. Once again, with no shame, I am Crockett Keller.”

As long as Muslims do not mind being called “enemies” of the nation, they can enjoy Keller’s classes. Of course, all of those “enemies” serving in our military in Iraq and Afghanistan will not need the training since they are already defending Keller’s right to denounce people on the basis of their faith.

  1. curious

first, you don’t have to have cattle to wear the hat, sometimes if you just have a lot of brush it’s allowed.

  2. I am in agreement that anyone can wear anything they want…lol….I do not have to look at it…especially when the Canadians’ Holiday in the Gulf area…wearing nothing but a spedo…I do not have to look….

  3. @Yepp, So sorry Swarthmore Mom’s husband erred in wearing an inappropriate T-Shirt. Perhaps Texas would be kind enough to publish regulations of apparel suitable for wearing in Texas. If they lack expertise in developing such a list, they can contact the Taliban. They’ll be able to provide them with proper guidance.

  4. Ron Paul is laying out a load of propaganda. Elizabeth Warren is a right of center Democrat who supports going to war with Iran. What an ass to say such a thing!

  5. As a friend of mine used to say… “How’d you like to call him ‘honey’?”

  6. So, in other words, the fat loudmouth Texas jackass caved in like a scared child.

  7. “Would the shirt be any less offensive if someone wore a shirt with a picture of an aborted fetus?”

If someone want to wear that shirt, then that is their protected right too. Protected free speech is protected free speech whether you like it or not. The only thing offensive here is some halfwit who thinks they have the right to dictate the terms of free speech. However, you don’t see people trying silence your blatantly unconstitutional bullshit, now do you? Ridicule it, sure. Make fun of you for being a repressive twit, most certainly. But you are allowed to have your opinion and to express it no matter how anyone with even a basic understanding of how the Constitution operates might find it offensive.

If you don’t like the Obama shirt?

You don’t have to wear it.

If others want to wear the shirt?

That’s simply none of your business.

  8. Then Gene H.,

Then one takes a chance in wearing something like this in public. Would the shirt be any less offensive if someone wore a shirt with a picture of an aborted fetus?

  9. I don’t think this guy in Texas is being manipulated. He is saying and doing exactly what he wants. Some people are easily manipulated but not this guy.

  10. This is interesting. Our rights as citizens are being stripped away by those we label right wing fascists and those we label liberals, such as Obama. This shows that both the right wing and left wing are being manipulated into working against their own interests and are helping to destroy our Constitution.

If you were to ask either left or right wing people if they want their rights stripped away, most would say no. Yet too many from each group of people support individuals who are doing just that. It is both the US govt. (clearly anti Constitutional while trying to pass itself off as pro Constitution) and right wing groups (clearly anti Constitutional who try to pass themselves off as pro Constitution), who are abridging the rights of the people.

It is necessary to break through this manipulation and oppose anyone, no matter who that person is, who would abridge the rights of the people.

That is the type of dude who leaves town to avoid accidents upon hearing statistics that most accidents happen near one’s residence.

  12. OS,
I like your class packing idea.
    Mr./Ms. Yepp,
The First Amendment is just as important or even more important that the 2nd amendment. You get to keep your guns and we get to wear irritating shirts in Texas.
