We have been discussing the alarming and baffling migration of Muslim men and women from the West to join the blood-soaked Islamic State or ISIS forces as they behead and murder their way through captured territories. While the vast majority of Muslims are disgusted by ISIS, the chilling reality is that there is a large portion of people who do not just support but long to behead and torture other people. Oklahoma is facing precisely that reality in two cases involving Muslim men who appear to identify with ISIS and relish the concept of beheading people in the name of Islam. It is a fatal attraction that may explain the thousands flocking from the West to the ranks of the Islamic State.
In Oklahoma City, Jacob Mugambi Muriithi (left above), 30, is being held on a charge of a terrorism charge after he allegedly threatened to behead a co-worker. He was located less than 20 miles from where Alton Alexander Nolen (right above) who is accused of beheading a co-worker just the day before the threats were allegedly made.
Nolen had only recently converted to Islam in prison but immediately took to the aspects of the religion that he viewed as justifying murder and decapitations. Writing under the name “Jah’Keem Yisrael” on his Facebook page, he wrote various incendiary and bizarre messages:
“A Future Prophecy Revelation 18:8 She (The statue Of Liberty) is going into flames. She and anybody who’s with her.”
“AMERICA SO CALL HELPS IRAQ (WHICH NOT)- WELL WHY CANT U HELP THE GAZA CITIZENS AGAINST ISRAEL…AMERICA AND ISRAEL ARE WICKED. WAKE UP MUSLIMS!!!”
“I JST WANT TO SAY AS AN MUSLIM WE DNT CELEBRATE AMERIKAS HOLIDAYS.”
“KAFIR KAFIRS MEANS SOMEONES WHO DISAGREES WITH ISLAM. JST CAUSE YOU AS-SALAAMU ALAKIUN EVERY MORNING DNT MEANS YOUR AN MUSLIM THANK YOU THO.”
“Ima Tell You Off Top Im Not Your Friend My Friends Are At The Mosque All Around The World.”
“Im an Muslim from the Tribe of Judah who Was Pretty Much Raised In Killeen Texas. My Ancestors Who Are The True Jews Here In America Today Are Originally From Israel. They Were Bombed Outta Israel By The Roman Catholic Army So They Fled To Egypt And The Afrikans Sold Us To The White Man As Slaves Along With Any Other Black Person Here In Amerika Today Aka The True Jews From Israel. “You know what gets me about Christians is that they blaspheme saying that Jesus (pbus Ameen) is God. If Jesus (pbuh Ameen) was God why when you claim he was on a cross he quoted Quote’ Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing? With this said he can’t be the Savior. All Praise To Allah,”
In one message, he declared “Islam Will Dominate the World. Freedom Can Go To Hell.”
He had been trying to convert people at his work and was telling co-workers about how women should be stoned for committing certain offenses. After he was fired, he returned and beheaded a female co-worker and stabbed another woman. After beheading Colleen Hufford, 54, and stabbing Traci Johnson’, 43, in the attack at Vaughan Foods store, he was shot and wounded by off-duty sheriff’s deputy and company CEO Mark Vaughan.
Nolen has a long previous criminal record including assault and battery on an officer, possession of a controlled substance, and escaping from detention.
Muriithi is identified as a native of Kenya who worked at Bellevue Nursing Home in northwest Oklahoma City. He also was trying to convert people and praised Islamic State for beheading Christians. He is quoted as saying that it “is just what we do.” He allegedly told the victim that he was going to cut her head off with “a blade” and said that, after cutting off her head, he would post it on Facebook. Islamic State fighters have been using social media to parade the heads of murdered captives.
Both Muriithi and Nolen are disturbing examples of the resource of disaffected, marginal, and unhinged individuals who swell the ranks of the Islamic State. For them, religion is an excuse to vent their anger and to kill in the name of faith. It is precisely the dehumanizing elements of the ISIS beliefs that attract them — to be able to treat women and other humans as undeserving of mercy or sympathy. Religion is the not the cause but the vehicle for their violent expression.

Whenever you read any statement about ISIS, replace the name ISIS with the name Israel and you will be amazed at how well the rest of the context fits.

Furthermore, why can’t we just call these guys in question thugs with funny hats and put the hammer to them as the law calls for? Maybe people will start to see crime as crime without excuses again in this country.

It seems to me that if a trial lawyer can win an eight figure judgment against a major religion because of behavior & malfeasances & use members donations for recompense then why not do the same for the malfeasances done by all religious associations that espouses or puts up with unlawfulness
Oxa, Terroristic threats are codified in the Federal criminal code, as well as state laws.
Since when is threatening someone “terrorism”, as opposed to assault or criminal threatening? We need to put the concept of terrorism back in the box from which it escaped.
Many anti religious people have come to adore Pope Francis. He is speaking forcefully about he need to stop ISIS by any means necessary and for the alleged moderate Muslims to speak out.
I refute. I stand behind my argument that humans will use any opportunity, even the best ideals of humanity, to do the worst things. Just another case in point. There are a few Muslims who reject the radical belief of Islam, but it’s time for more of these good peaceful Muslims to stand up and speak out against these terrorists who are bringing a bad name to their religion..
I am seeing a profile pattern of those being initiated into hostile Islam. They are ill educated, many are prisoners and past prisoners (Malcom X comes to memory), many have lived rebellious lives, some have lived volatile lives, most want revenge on the world because they feel neglected, rejected, and cheated.
It has nothing to do with a religious belief and all to do with recognition and power over others–women and children are always the first to experience the revenge of these men.

Ok, I’m gonna say it….it’s a fundamental adherence to religious beliefs that seem to cause so many of the problems. A more literal take on the nutty stuff in religious texts might be a better fit for today’s world.

If Islam teaches violence one must have to give peaceful Muslims a lot of credit for ignoring those passages in the Koran. Same goes for eye plucking, daughter selling and the like from the Bible and peaceful Christians and Jews. Seems like old religious texts dwell on some unsavory stuff.
Neither the Bill of Rights nor the Constitution is a suicide pact. Individuals who advocate the beheading of women or “infidels” in the name of their god should be politely asked to leave. This is what comes of not insisting that immigrants assimilate with regard to religious or cultural norms that threaten the freedom and lives of others. When religion skips its bounds and threatens the rights and lives of others it can no longer claim any kind of protection, not matter what god it claims to worship. Religious privilege or exemption from laws is decidedly unconstitutional. For too long we have turned a blind eye to it.
I think what the NSA needs to do is look for bad spellers. It is a clear indicator of terrorism.

I’m an atheist but I can get behind the Jesus stuff — feed the poor, turn the other cheek, etc.
People need to start reading the Quran and Hadith and commentary and understand the realities of Islam. It is not simply a different flavor of god belief. This article is instructive on the violence commanded by Islam.
