A French prosecutor has issued a statement that the co-pilot of Germanwings 9525, Andreas Lubitz, 28, locked out the pilot of the plane and then intentionally crashed the plane in the French Alps. The conclusion adds a new horrific detail to an already horrific crash. It was not an accident according to a review of the record from the black box found at the crash site.
The cockpit voice recorder revealed the pilot politely knocking to be allowed back into the cockpit and then frantically banging on the door as Lubitz directed the plane into the ground. Marseille prosecutor Brice Robin said that Lubitz “wanted to destroy this plane.” He killed 150 passengers and crew, who can be heard in the background screaming in terror. New reports indicate that there may have been issues in the past with regard to depression.
Germanwings, a low-budget carrier operated by Lufthansa, will likely face litigation over the crash and this adds a new issue. Companies will often offer a “rogue employee” defense of an employee acting outside the scope of their employment or clearly against the rules and wishes of the employer. This would clearly appear to fit since this is a senseless criminal act. However, there will remain the question of whether the airline had any indication or should have uncovered the type of mental imbalance that would lead to such an suicidal and murderous act.

That guy who threatened to commit suicide over deleted comments on a blog was seriously messed up. I was so shocked when I read it, I actually asked the blog owners to back off of the poor guy.
What happened to Yo Mama? He disappeared when he needed to link to articles saying the co pilot was Muslim. Poof! He’s gone!
Nah Wade, count me out. Anyone want to tackle the spew at 11:26?
Again, borderline personality disorder is marked by failed relationships. Divorce, suicide attempts of all sorts by lovers/husbands, etc. But, this was a homicide 1-150, and suicide 151. To make this about oneself in light of this tragedy is, well…
Anybody willing to tackle the post @ 11:18?
Prison guard to hotel dick to private eye.
That’s quite a CV.

It’s wrong to disrespect Spinelli.
He goes to exotic and exciting places for vacation. Catalina! I can hardly wait for the exciting details! I wonder if he will strike up any interesting friendships with the indigenous peoples he meets in their rustic native huts.

“Secondly, having a minor in behavioral psychology is like having a major in cosmetology: they’re all about external conditioning.”
“Problem is, there will be another plane in the future of we don’t use thought and actually try to solve the problem rather than using a cage or gun for everything.”
“just because you were there gives only your perspective, not necessarily the truth at that.”

Beautiful!
Wallace, I guess if just seems so selfish to leave those who love you. I do understand that the illness can overpower their love for their families. It’s awful that they are punished by employers for their mental status, however innocent people could be the victims of someone who wants to commit suicide and take others with him. Maybe we need laws that protect the person suffering from depression, that when they seek reinstatement, they aren’t discriminated against.
Leave it to the well respected Darren smith to drop a barbaric dime (sort of usual). Depression and personality order are deep seeded an serious issues. Go ahead and discount and stigmatize people that deal with these issues by criminalizing anything and everything that you can. Problem is, there will be another plane in the future of we don’t use thought and actually try to solve the problem rather than using a cage or gun for everything.

Leave it to you to say something that is racist about this blog. I am tired of it can you please cease and desist. You have Darren so wrong it’s ridiculous. He defends people that are like you but because he used to be a Cop you have issues. Get over it.
No matter what this guy did, it was an attempted Hi-Jack so I don’t care how you cut or slice it. They can say whatever they want. We don’t know what all of the pieces of the puzzle are. There could have been something on the plane that the co – pilot had an issue with and was waiting to get revenge on. We don’t know yet. But he locked the pilot in and Hi-Jacked the freaking plane okay so leave Darren out of it.
Please 😉

“Ken – I do not believe in ‘pop psychologist.’ I have a minor in behavioral psychology and personally believe that you are out of your field.”
Paul, you’re the only person I’ve ever known who could write those two sentences with a straight face. As they like to say in the US South on such occasions, “God bless your heart.” 🙂
First off, if you truly don’t believe in “pop psychologist,” then don’t give him any money, I don’t care how expensive his suit looks.
Secondly, having a minor in behavioral psychology is like having a major in cosmetology: they’re all about external conditioning.
Just as there’s no letter “I” in TEAM, there’s no spiritual “I” required in classical or operant conditioning, which is solely concerned with manipulating the old bio-machinery to see what observable effects may obtain.
So, yes, when I apply precepts from schools of psychology that actually recognize interiority, I am definitely out of your field, though not necessarily out of mine.
As you noted in an earlier post, Oscar Wilde knew whereof he spoke when he observed that “Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing that is worth knowing can be taught.”
Ken Rogers – So, yes, when I apply precepts from schools of psychology that actually recognize interiority, I am definitely out of your field, though not necessarily out of mine. You are out of your field, since you have entered ‘pop psychology.’ You can delve into the deepest recesses of your soul and suss out your little secrets, using whatever interiority you are currently using, it probably won’t cure you, but it will make your therapist richer,
Interiorty. that’s a cool new word. Can I use it? I’m gonna use it. 😉 😉

Paul Always Wrong said Cair had an office right in the WH.
Even Paul Always Wrong sources say he is always wrong.

People that have no sufficient intellectual white matter will fall to the lower subconscious and emote emote emote. They don’t know any better
Forgot to add that even the Daily caller and Breitbart are NOT saying that CAIR has an office in the white house.
IF they would’ve succeeded that is.

Maybe Paul Always Wrong thinks “Newyorkustan” is the “New Yorker”.

Maybe!
He is going around quite far in order to hide the fact that the sources for that claim are solely the Daily caller and Breitbart, both incredibly reliable sources.
I take it back, Paul, forget I ever asked for a source. This is too sad to watch. Thanks for trying though.

I took care of a guy who tried to hang himself, he ended up severly brain injured. I also took care of another guy who shot his face off, Ina suicide attempt, but missed his brain, so he was fully cognizant of what he did to himself. I took care of another guy who during group therapy ran down the hallway and leaped through a plate glass window several floors up. He was also significantly brain injured. Very combative too. All so tragic. But at least they didn’t take anyone with them to their death.

Paul, Jon Stewart said a lot of things, a lot of things…about Republicans. Quite selective you are friend in what of him you hear.
Also, if being a Democrat means voting for the democratic partiy, I have not been a democrat for a bit.
I would have asked Karen why she hates liberalism, but she rarely answers questions. And when she does, she answers one of her choosing, not the one asked.
Then she attacks you for what you haven’t said.
po – I thought Jon Stewart was like the Koran, we got to pick what we like.
Max,
“Well I’m close… medical issues. Depression.”
