According to an Iraqi based aid worker, who identified himself only as Yousif, approximately two girls a day commit suicide in the aftermath of being raped by ISIS Terrorists. The news and other corroboration of reports of inhumanity directed toward women in girls are unimaginable. Compounding the horror experienced from gang rapes in open streets, being sold into sexual slavery, or subjected to other outrages is both the stigma and shame forced onto women and girls–a furtherance of ISIS’ crimes against humanity. It also shows a macabre window into a policy of ethnic cleansing by ISIS at several levels.
“There are different methods they use inside there, whether they hang themselves, cut themselves, different ways they do it,” Yousif said. “They don’t have hope that their people will accept them, at the same time they don’t want their babies.
Social and personal pressure, according to Yousif, encourages pregnant victims to have either abortions or abandon their baby at orphanages.
Concerning a pre-teen girl who allegedly became pregnant after being sexually abused by ten men, Yousif said: “ISIS was the father, she had been raped by more than nine or 10 men. She is very tiny. If she delivers naturally or by caesarean, she will die.”
Reports are many in the media of groups such as Christians and other religions suffering forced conversion to ISIS’ perverse religious doctrines under threat of death or harm to family members. Additionally those perceived to be racially impure, in this case the Yazidi who descend from Aryan ancestry and often have traits including blue eyes, lighter skin, and in some cases blonde hair, suffer rapes with the goal of passing genetics to offspring who resemble the girls’ attackers and ISIS’ version of a model people. That is, if ISIS does not kill them outright. ISIS regards the Yazidi as a devil people and initially called for all to be exterminated.
Ziyad Shammo Khalaf, of the NGO Yazda that offers assistance and first aid to the persecuted Yazidis, told IBTimes UK: “The girls were dragged away from their mothers. If the mothers pleaded them not to give away their daughters, they were beaten and tortured.”
It is not ISIS alone that engages in such savagery. The terror group Boko Haram recently pledged its allegiance to ISIS in March, 2015 and is using rape as a weapon of war against women in Nigeria.
A notable example is found in the Chibok school girls kidnapping involving reportedly over two hundred, seventy five girls. Public displays of the girls sent by Boko Haram show forced religious conversion and forced marriages involving the sale of the girls for a US$12.50 bride price. Escapees reported walking for days and in some case weeks to elude recapture and stated the girls remaining collectively suffered daily rapes at the hands of their captors.
Another faction in Africa is the Christian Terrorist Organization the Lord’s Resistance Army.
Since beginning its military insurgency in the mid 1990’s a common tactic is to kidnap children and press them into military service. Estimates are that at least ten thousand child soldiers of both genders have fought in the LRA. Children suffer high amounts of casualty in combat which in turn LRA raids civilian areas to acquire more children; often killing parents, teachers, and others in the process. And a sad reality is their intent to create a second generation of child fighters through the raping of now teenage soldiers.
Returning to the ISIS ethnic cleansing campaign the use of genetics to force the elimination of a culture is not limited to the present. It does have a history.
The same type of perversion was a central aspect of the racial purity ideal of Nazi Germany’s leadership through its eugenics program to promote “racial hygiene”. While differing in such direct application such as rapes, the program however also encouraged the promotion of fertility with those perceived by the Nazis to be of sound purity, while at the same time criminalizing miscegenation and fostering eventually genocidal acts levied against others.
Now, it seems the world has not learned its lesson as it pledged when the rightful goal of never forgetting never allowing genocides and crimes against humanity faded along with the acute memory of the Second World War. We face this again with several terrorist, non-state actors.
But aside from the comforts we in the West provide ourselves in being remote to the sufferings of “other people” the Yazidis and too many others have not the luxury of such indifference. It is a world of isolation and exile for Yazidi women victims who fear rejection, humiliation, and guilt even if liberated from captivity. For a few the trauma leads to death at their own hands–a terrible conclusion to a rape of a people.
Of the children born from such events let us hope at least they will not be held accountable for the sins of their fathers or be outcasts among the society they may be born into.

Didn’t the world say “Never Again” after the Holocaust? And yet, here we are, watching it happen again.
Karen – no we are not watching it again because everyone is too gutless to declare it genocide. Obama kicked the can on the Armenian genocide, last week.
This story brought me to tears. A girl 12 or younger raped by 10 men? If she gave birth she’d likely end up with a fistula.
Rape is traumatic enough that it’s difficult for women to overcome. To be sold into a forced marriage or slavery, where it would be a daily occurrence is unbelievable suffering. And in cultures where women are the external measure of a family’s honor, such suicides are common.
So very tragic.
We grow so weary of war, but the region keeps boiling over. The UN is futile as it stands. (I loved the movie Hotel Rwanda based on a true story.) What can we do?

I also hear that ISIS has been going into Yazidi nurseries and stealing the incubators. The infants are simply left to die….. Oh, wait, no. That wasn’t ISIS; that was Sadaam Hussein before the first war on Iraq… and it wasn’t true. At all.

The Yazidis were first cast as a type of Christian on this site and others, but that misinformation has waned. It’s not as if the propagandists have lost hope in casting this as a religious war, but it’s always helpful to play on sympathy and, of course, racial superiority.
Let’s start with the sympathy. Sixty girls a month are killing themselves after being raped by ISIS? That’s horrible if it’s true. At least as horrible as the incubator babies. But is it true? What is the source of this claim?
Mr. Smith’s source is the EKurd Daily a Kurdish propaganda site. That alone is enough to make someone highly suspicious, but it’s worse when you check EKurd Daily’s source for this suicide epidemic. What is that source?
Huh? A rape and suicide epidemic is killing 60 girls a month and the only person who can confirm this is “an Iraq-based aid worker only known as Yousif”? What about Human Rights Watch? They’re there. Isn’t that what they do?
Not only does Human Rights watch have credibility that a person known only as Yousif can never have, HRW also actually has the capacity to investigate and catalog 60 monthly suicides in a war zone. One aid worker, known only as Yousif, simply doesn’t have that capability.
Yousif also relates this horrible story:
Nine years old and pregnant after a gang rape. It is, surprisingly, possible. Wikipedia lists almost than 40 girls who gave birth at 9 or younger in records going back to 1759. But why did she “allegedly” become pregnant? That should be as easy to confirm as Yousif’s last name. EKurd Daily did neither.
But sympathy and religion baiting aren’t always enough. Enter the Aryans. The Daily Mail headline:
Will no one save the blond Aryan bloodline? Where is our Aryan Brotherhood? Look at this little girl! She has light colored eyes and blondish hair! Brown skinned people want to impregnate her and ruin the purity of the Aryan race! Aryans everywhere, it is time to take a stand! We must protect our racial purity!
Yeah. It’s 2014. The Aryans are back.

To the victor, go the spoils which are often women. The women are seen as objects to be raped, impregnated, bought, sold and killed. But there are women even ISIS is afraid of. The women Yazidi fighters.

ISIS makes US street gangs, motorcycle gangs, and organized crime families look like cream puffs.
The longer this stuff goes on the worse Islam looks. It doesn’t matter if the Muslim families down the street are peace loving and smile a lot. The wife has to wear a bed sheet. The kids learn the stuff whether they like it or not. Their life is threaded with a morality that is often times conflicted with the social norms of the Western World. And, they don’t much talk about the thuggery going on in the name of their religion.
It seems to me that the first move to express the ‘normalcy’ of their religion would be an unrelenting tirade against the thugs who interpret the ‘social stations’ of women as OK to rape them, the religious convictions of others as a duty to chop off their heads, and a never ending list of other perversities.
It is not right to point the finger at peaceful Muslims who have integrated well into Western society. However, there is a silence that is simply not right. From media tirades to their supposedly more sane brother country’s armies mopping up their messes, there is too much of nothing going on to stop these animals by those who worship the same stories.
If a ‘good’ Muslim is unafraid to die and go to heaven with all the fruits that come from living an honorable life, then why isn’t there a hundred thousand man army, right now, mopping up these murderers and perverts. This ranks up there with the real crimes.

When a nation state, like the United States, attempts to intervene, to do good, bad things can happen in the long run. In 1980 this dog was a human in a prior life in Egypt and drinking at the Hilton Hotel Bar at el Tahir Square. I was with three Swedish girls who attracted a lot of attention. Some spies from the U.S. (CIA) and Britain were in there and they heard we were going to Luxor and they kindly gave us some coupons for five nights at a hipster guest house there. We got there and the guest house was run by some Egyptian college grads who could not get jobs in their engineering professions and were disaffected. One of the Swedish girls got stomach disorder and The Doctor showed up from nearby and treated her. She got better. While The Doctor was there one of the spies from MI6 showed up and entreated The Doctor to join a dissident group that was sending fighters to Afghanistan to fight the Soviets. Some of the other guest house guests and the guys running it signed up. We went back to Cairo and did not think much of it. A year or so later Anwar Sadat was assassinated and we saw the guys they arrested were shown on TV here in America. The Doctor was one of them who was arrested and convicted. His name was al Zawari and he can now be seen leading al Qaeda against America from his roost in Afghanistan.
The best thing America can do is stay clear of these Pirate Territories. Fly Over and Flush. Woof.

I’m calling BS. 1) The C.I.A. and MI6 do NOT let everyone know who they are. 2) It is possible the doctor was al Zawiri but he had been an active rebel since he was 14. However he specialized as a surgeon. 3) 1500 people were arrested after the assassination, not sure how you would pick him out of the crowd. 4) According to him under torture he gave up one of the important players. 5) He doesn’t start playing with al Queda until 1985 6) He doesn’t meet bin Laden until 1986.

Wasn’t Obama saving these young women because one of his daughters asked him to?
US has done a lot to set loose these savages. The 2003 Iraq War created chaos in which radical Jihadists thrived-there would be no ISIL today if not for that war. Then US, Israel and France decided it was a good idea to support Jihadists fighting to overthrow secular nationalist Assad. CIA started helping them in 2011 or 2012. If Russia hadn’t stepped forward, 2000 years of Christianity in Syria would have been brought to an end and its history eradicated.
We have been tolerant for far to long of religions that view women as property to be used by men as they see fit. The ME is a morass of hate and that hate is now firmly planted in Africa.
I am deeply saddened at the atrocities we are seeing. When will those who make excuses for ISIS wake up. The NYT today published a report about an Muslim Arab doctor trained in Denmark who now believes he should support ISIS. The story is frightening and instructive. And people wonder why Europe doesn’t want more immigrants from the ME.
