Zimbabwe is demanding Palmer’s extradition. Now a second American doctor, Jan Casimir Seski of Murrysville, Pennsylvania, has been accused of an illegal lion hunt with a bow and arrow at the very same park, Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park.

Like Palmer, Seski has a longing for animal trophies and poses with dead animals in triumphant pictures. Seski, 68, is accused of killing a lion illegally in April and his guides have been arrested in the African Country.

The question is now whether Seski will also be sought for extradition or whether the Obama Administration will protect the two American doctors out of animosity toward the corrupt Mugabe regime.

Dr. Seski is listed as being Director of Gynecologic Oncology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He boasted on a Alaska Bow Hunting Website that he has shot six African elephants.

  1. So, I looked at the picture of the Trump boys and thought, “Wow, what bad hair.” And then I laughed. It’s truly genetic.

And the ancient Roman government used to feed the poor. Two millennia ago. Just a comment.

  2. Johna,

Why do you think that the only way to feed a child is through tax money? Parents, as well as churches and other organizations have done this for millennia. Using government for this purpose condemns many of these children to lifetimes of dependency and lack of autonomy.

Why are Planned Parenthood supporters too cheap to fully fund it through their own voluntary contributions?

  3. “I do not believe that just because you’re opposed to abortion, that that makes you pro-life. In fact, I think in many cases, your morality is deeply lacking if all you want is a child born but not a child fed, not a child educated, not a child housed. And why would I think that you don’t? Because you don’t want any tax money to go there. That’s not pro-life. That’s pro-birth. We need a much broader conversation on what the morality of pro-life is.” Sister Joan Chittister

Help our sisters across the nation continue to get safe women’s health cares services from Planned Parenthood. Remember safe abortions are less than 3% of the services provided. Please show your support at this urgent moment. Love and peace, Johna

    1. Johna Grim – can you explain why PP got money from the State Department? Millions? Do they offer free abortions to Bill’s Bimbos?

I included women. However, it seems to be mainly men. Read more carefully.

Who am I to decide who is on the evolutionary scale? I don’t decide. We are all on it, even you. I simply observe at which place on the curve certain actions and activities present themselves.

There is a self indulgence found in these killers, that’s hard to argue. From the photos there is an obvious self gratification. The question remains, after the mechanics of the institution have been laid out, why does killing a magnificent animal get those rocks off. It’s one thing to do it for food, for money, for protection; that’s somewhat natural. What drives these killers is something somewhat unnatural, for me, at my spot on the curve.

    1. Chief Consort – more time has been spent on Cecil than the abortion videos.

  5. Paul

There is this thing called evolution, unless of course you are one of those poor saps that believes the world was created in six days, etc., etc.,… We used to have slavery, used to bar Blacks from voting, women from voting, etc., etc….. Killing for sport serves a purpose unique to males; I realize there are women who kill for pleasure, however, it is mainly a male thrill. It serves to make the male feel dominant and perhaps addresses latent conditions of masculinity problems. It is, more or less, like jerking off. A real male would go toe to toe with the overpopulated world of terrorists nut cases.

So, the dentist who spends his day looking down the gullet of people who are too lazy to brush and floss and making money proportionate to their negligence feels that he needs to ‘be a man’. So, he kills something, the more important the animal the better he feels.

It is all part of nature. However, nature can be perverse and that is where societal evolution come in. These recreational killers are connected to the act of killing a human but don’t have the balls. One has to wonder if they got the chance would they take the next step.

There may be conditions where animals need to be culled and offering to allow these macho machismo Hemingway wannabes a chance of releasing their load into an Elephant or Lion for enough money to assist in maintaining a species is a good thing. The park gets money to pay for the game wardens and the jerk off gets to jerk off. However, he is still wanting in the evolution department.

    1. issac – it is clear you have not been keeping up on women. They are now as many women sexual predators as male. BTW, who are you to decide who is who on the evolutionary scale?

    1. thesciencegeek – I am appalled by your claim that scientists falsified data. They wouldn’t do that.

  6. This is another example of Individual Rights to hunt and kill animals vs the Collective Rights to stop this activity.

There is a great difference of an African Tribesman going out and killing an animal for the pot and what these doctors allegedly did.

Big game are used to people and are hardly wild in the strictest sense. Their fear of humans is modified. The hunter with the bow and arrow has a support team armed to the teeth in case he misses. In real “sport” for want of a better word it would be 1 man against 1 beast with a reasonable chance the (wo)man would be killed. There isn’t much skill in this just like there wasn’t much skill in shooting millions of North American Bison 150 years ago.

Anyone who kills an animal for pleasure deserves what is coming to them. And the greater the punishment the better.

I hope the defence lawyers costs are sky-high and that there us sufficient “freedom” in America to allow the extradition to Zimbabwe if evidence is sufficient to support allegation tgat a crime has been committed. These doctors are innocent until proven guilty, unlike the animals they allegedly killed.

The global outrage is significant. The tide is turning and individuals are now being made personally responsible for their arrogance and stupidity.

For with personal freedom comes personal responsibility. And punishment for lack of resonsibility is dished out by the freedom of the population to regulate the individual. This is how the world works…… you can’t hide from this if a prosecution doesn’t take place, home-grown public opinion will seek its retribution in line with the rights of each individual to object. And what does this create?

    Public consensus…..

    Paul C. Shulte take note….

    1. ninny – ever see a buffalo run? The Indians of the West would stampeded the bison of cliffs, killings thousands at a time. They only needed 5.

The killing of the buffalo was done on purpose. It was designed to stop the food sources off the reservation for the Indians. A lot of Brits came to the US to hunt buffalo (bison).

  7. Communist fellow traveler Ernest Hemingway was a celebrated hunter of African big game in the last century.

    1. Inga – every been charged by an elephant? If not, stay out of the discussion.

  8. http://www.motherjones.com/mixed-media/2015/07/donald-trumps-kids-are-also-big-game-hunters

Donald Trump’s two sons are also big game hunters.

Amid the outrage, photos quickly resurfaced of Donald Trump’s sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, posing with the dead bodies of several exotic animals, including an African elephant and leopard, they had previously hunted for sport.

When the photos initially emerged online back in 2012, the Trump brothers staunchly defended themselves, taking to Twitter to “make no apologies.”

Update, August 2, 2015: Donald Trump defended his sons with the following statement: “My sons love to hunt. They are members of the NRA, very proudly. I am a big believer in the second amendment. My sons are hunters. Eric is a hunter. He puts it on a par with golf – ahead of golf. And my other son is a hunter. They are great marksmen, great shots. I like to play golf.”

    1. Inga – progressives kill babies and that does not get your panties in a twist. They and their supporters have not put out new talking points since the first video dropped. And you are upset over the legal culling of big game herds?

  9. I am not a conspiracy theorist. I am your early warning system….

  10. I was never a trophy hunter, but I do give credit to those willing to hunt with a bow. You have to get a lot closer with a bow and you have to be a better shot.

  11. As recently noted in a tweet from Seth MacFarlane: ‘When a child kills an animal for fun, we fear mental illness. When an adult with the capacity to reason does it, we call it “sport.” ‘

    I couldn’t agree me.
