Ibn Hunter, 25, is one person that Atlantic City could do without. Hunter was arrested after he starred in a vicious video posted on YouTube where he taunts and then knocks out a 45-year-old homeless woman. The videotape below is disgusting and all the more disturbing by the utter lack of reaction of people around them.
Hunter is shown standing in front of the victim and asking her: “I ain’t gonna do what? I ain’t gonna grab you? I ain’t gonna do what?”
A person off camera joins the taunting and says: “She said you ain’t gonna smack her, dog.”
Hunter then stares into the camera and decks the woman as the cameraman yells “Bing! and “It’s over.”
The role of the cameraman should result in his arrest as well since he is actively participating in the creation of a videotape (which appears the strong motivation of Hunter). They appear joined in a common purpose to assault the woman while filming the crime.
The woman suffered severe head trauma. She was eventually upgraded to serious but stable condition.
Hunter was arrested on a warrant for aggravated assault. Not surprisingly he has a long criminal history with prior convictions for drugs and theft, including five adult convictions for burglary, robbery and drug possession. He racked up his first cocaine conviction at the age of 16.
It is not clear if an individual identified as Bdsp BroadDay was the man who filmed the crime, but police are trying to find him. BroadDay said on the web that the woman had tried to spit on Hunter.
The joy shown by Hunter in the taunting and assault of this woman should weigh heavily in my view on sentencing. I consider this type of criminal to be the most dangerous to society — someone who enjoys causing and watching the pain of defenseless individuals. It is conduct that should push a sentence to the very top of the discretionary scale for a court in my view.
KCF, I didn’t have any problems. I was just surprised @ the density of the population. What I find disturbing about Somalis is that they cover little girls, 2-3 year old, head to toe. Most Muslim cultures allow little girls a pass until they’re older.

Because the idea was an obvious joke, farce, not serious….however, some people seem to lack the ability to discern jokes or sarcasm. In that case you have no option but to continue with the joke and make it even more crazy and farcical to see just how far you can push the joke onto the completely oblivious. The more oblivious and outraged the person is at the stupid and obvious joke the funnier it is.

I have to agree that arming the homeless is an absurd idea. Really people, we can do better than this argument when defending gun ownership and the 2nd Amendment.

I see (as did Rick, I believe) that the narrative of this incident is being diverted to a narrative that all women need to be armed while in public. You cannot use this homeless woman to prove that all unarmed women in public are all as vulnerable as she is. This POS picked on her because she was very obviously vulnerable.
He was taunting prior to striking. Guns stop taunting INSTANTLY! Some folks have no book smarts, people smarts, or street smarts, They are 0 for 3 in the different intelligence dept. The cocking of a gun stops ALL negative behavior. Or, Darwinism takes over if it doesn’t.
How does a homeless woman, who is the victim in THIS story keep from being victimized? She can’t. That is why it’s up to society to keep her safe, by outreach, by social safety nets that some of you conservatives hate, but not by giving her a gun.

Totally disagree with you Annie. He could not have given better warning than he did. At 0.05, if she was carrying, she could have pulled out her pistol from her purse and pointed at the perp. He would have been running or he would be shot dead. That was clearly 15 seconds before he punched her. She saw the threat at that point as evidenced by her raising her arm up in self defense.
If I were a bystander, 0.05 is exactly when I would have stepped in between this guy and the woman and told him to back off and stop picking on little old ladies. I would have warned him that he was starting to look like a bully and if he wanted respect in this hood, then he needed to avoid looking like a bully of defenseless old ladies.

Ignorant liberals, equating being homeless w/ being “mentally ill.” There are exponentially more mentally ill living in their own apartments, a danger to family and all around them, than there are mentally ill living on the streets. Liberals always show their true colors.
