We have previously discussed acts of heroism in the face of terrorism, including acts by Muslims who reject the violence and claims of morality by ISIS and others such as the Muslims who formed a human shield around tourists in Tunisia. We have another such case out of Kenya where Muslim passengers refused to identify non-Muslims when their bus was seized by the Islamic extremist group Al-Shabaab. The passengers reportedly told the terrorists that they would have to kill them all or let them all go.
The bus to Mandera was supposed to have a police escort near the border with Somalia and Ethiopia. However, the escort vehicle broke down. When the terrorists seized the bus, they set about to separate and kill all Christian passengers but the Muslim passengers, mainly women, refused to separate and identify the Christians. Last year, the group killed 28 people who could not recite the Quran.
Some of the Muslim women gave the Christian women their hijabs and others hid them behind bags. One witness said “They told them, ‘If you want to kill us, then kill us. There are no Christians here.” It is reminiscent of the Robbie Edmonds story that we discussed recently from World War II.
The terrorists shot a passenger and the bus driver but then left.
The whole purpose of terrorism is to turn a population against itself and against its values. It is meant to kill what humanity is left in people and get them to accept an ideology or religion out of fear. These Kenyans showed how humanity and true morality can prevail in the face of such evil in this world.

It is true that there were Muslims who protected Jews during WWII, just like there are Muslims today who fight extremism. Among the 2500 “Righteous Persons” are 70 Muslims honored for their bravery and courage in saving Jewish lives from the Nazis:

Although, unbeknownst to the Arabs, racist Hitler predicted that Arabs would perish in the harsh winter climate of Germany, and Islamized Germans would rule the world.
On the one side, there were anti-semitic extremists fighting to wipe out Jews from the Earth. On the other were good and kind people who knew right from wrong.
Not all Muslims believe Israel was behind 9/11, or caused their own Holocaust, or believe Israel is a terrorist nation. There are many Muslims living in America today quite peaceably with other faiths, enjoying the freedoms of the West and quite thankful they do not live under Sharia Law. Just like there are many Christians who would not like to live under Puritanical law.

Since I have been fighting hard for commentators here to differentiate between Arabs ( 20% of Muslims; some christians or Atheists) and Muslims (80% of whom are NOT Arabs, most Muslim simply by being born into a Muslim family) I must commend karen for at least showing she knows the difference between the two. Hopefully then from now on she will cease referring to muslims when she means arabs…

Aren’t you aware our federal government has 100% positive control over the whereabouts of every non-citizen in the country. Not only does this administration prevent anyone from entering our country without proper documentation and a thorough review of all available databases and social media websites, once they gain entry they cannot move throughout our country without authorization from the federal government and/or each and every state government. Open? Not even close.
Also, Obama is not authorized to bring in 2016 more than 10k refugees.Suggesting he’ll blow that number up completely ignores the fact the laws says he can’t and he did take an oath after all.

Between you, Bam Bam, and Karen you take the ribbon today. This is a brave act but you’re not convinced that Islam can be a religion of peace and fellowship. By the way, we don’t have the most open society in the world, not even close. And, somehow Obama’s lies are intertwined in, ?, WTF.
This is the actions of what we need to see by others Muslims. If we witness more of these brave acts of peaceful Muslims against radical Muslims, I’d feel less concern about bringing Muslim refugees over.
