Dr. Carol Christine Fair, an associate professor in the Security Studies Program at Georgetown, has created a firestorm of controversy after she called for the castration and “miserable death” of Republican senators.ย This is not her first such controversy in profanely attacking Republicans.

Fair is clearly upset with the ongoing Kavanaugh hearings but took the event to a bizarre extreme.ย She posted:

The comments however were made on her private accounts.ย As I noted earlier, despite my criticism of Fair for these postings, I still believe that this is an exercise of free speech and there is no indication that Fair is unfair to conservative students.ย As such, Fair is rightfully the subject of condemnation but not termination.ย These comments go to core political beliefs, though expressed in the crudest possible way.

Just because Fair can exercise her First Amendment Right to issue death threats does not mean she will be free of the consequences. Eventually her threats are going to reach the wrong ears and she will suffer real-world consequences. Fair in a simple statement tells us where the left is from.
