Russia is now unleashing its massive military assault on Ukraine and shattering every international norm in the process. Putin himself has shocked the world with his authoritarian actions and rhetoric. We are watching the blind rage of megalomania played out on a world stage. The only voice that seems to resonate in this madness is that of Putin himself. There has, however, been one voice that seemed to embody the best of our international and law values. It is the voice of Kenyan U.N. Ambassador Martin Kimani. While many of you have likely heard parts of his incredible address, I thought that this would be an important time to hear his remarks, which include criticism of all of the world powers.
Here are his remarks on the violent thrashing of “dead empires.”
Notably, Kimani has a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire (1996). He also a master’s degree (2003) and a PhD (2013) from King’s College and the University of London.
So here are the lines in the scene. Putin says to Biden; “Okay Biden here’s what you do. You lower the production of oil. This will cause a rise in the price of oil and because I have lots of oil I will have more money and then I can carry out my plan.” Biden responds to Putin; “What are we going to do today Putin?” Putin responds; “The same thing we do every day Biden, TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!” My apologies to Pinky and the Brain.
Let me see if I get this straight. You lower the production of oil in the U.S. by 1.7 million barrels per day in 2021 and the price of oil jumps up from $50 per barrel to $97 per barrel. Because Russia is the second largest producer of oil in the world you put $85,000,000,000 more dollars In Putin’s hand. Maybe your environment got greener but you put the color of blood and the stench of cordite on your more clean earth. So if Biden and his green friends, through their war on fossil fuels, have put more money in the Russian coffers who is the real Russian stooge.
Think: Well said.
Biden cannot credibly claim to be against Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, while he finances that invasion. Still waiting for Biden to be serious by issuing a total ban on Russian oil and gas. Until then his outrage is hollow.
Thanks Sam, the real sadness is in the irony.
That, and this:
In early 2021, the Biden administration began destroying America’s energy production. Quite predictably, as you pointed out, that wealth was shifted to Putin.
What did the intelligence geniuses in DC think Putin was going to do with that money? You don’t need a Ph.D. in criminology to know that financing criminals is a bad idea.
If French isolationists did not want to see French soldiers fighting in the American colonies, then America might not be the free country that it is today. We should all be brothers in freedom, all over the world.
Why not the same zeal in protecting firefighters from fire? It’s an occupational hazard they accept themselves. Have you ever considered that maybe soldiers WANT to go to Ukraine to do what is right? Their desire to go there should outweigh your desire not to have them sent there.
Why not the same zeal in protecting firefighters from fire? It’s an occupational hazard they accept themselves.
What if a majority of people vote to send troops to Ukraine? That would be a good reason. “The people have spoken”, and all that.
Why don’t we have a military to protect the military? Then the soldiers will be super-protected from war.
Two quotes from the link below. It seems the “adults in the room” are, after all, nothing more than self-obsessed adolescents whose grasp of history and international relations are no better than those of most high school freshmen. Time to pay attention to serious scholars like Mearsheimer and ignore those who promote fashionable academic speculation and ‘narratives’ rather than analysis because war and international relations are serious pursuits, and indulging in fantasies and cosplay will end badly.
“A complete dilution of international relations schools and studies with nonsensical theoretical frameworks in the last forty years resulted in this fake expertise and the “experts” who led to this.”
“In an incredibly dangerous era, great power cannot afford hyper-emotional juveniles. Bad theories, the university to NGO pipeline, Critical Race Theory and toxic social programs in the military, that led to such fake expertise, must be reversed in an era of great power competition.”
https://nationalinterest.org/feature/ukraine-demands-transatlantic-course-correction-200818
“fake expertise”….Yes, it is. And the dangerous thing is these ‘woketards’ believe their own bullsh*t. They actually shared our intel with China and China went and shared it with Putin! What did they think China would do? This is how these morons ‘think’.
But, come on, man….Tony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, and Biden’s entire team of woke idiots are ‘Building Back Better,’ baby.
These are the some of the same people who perpetrated years of Russia hoax nonsense under Trump. These are not serious people. They are woke morons.
Now Biden has poked the bear. we’ve got war in Ukraine, an unstable world, paying $5 a gallon for gas at home b/c of Biden’s policy decisions!!…..and Biden tell us, “defending American values has a cost.”
They are full of it. Every word out of their mouths. It’s all utter bullsh*t.
Total failure. Biden is a disaster. And it’s going to get worse.
There is nothing ‘better’ under Biden’s disastrous presidency. Everything is worse.
America under Biden is: Weak, Woke, and Broke.
Total fail. Impeach Biden.
Biden’s job approval hits new low: poll
https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/595881-bidens-job-approval-hits-new-low-poll
President Biden’s approval rating has hit a new low of 38 percent, according to a new Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey released exclusively to The Hill on Friday.
Carteresque. Hope those soccer moms in Volvos are happy.
It appears to have leaned to voter fraud in many areas not necessary soccer moms, but regardless, maybe now the soccer moms with boys about to be or in the military they’ll now be more tolerant of potty mouth construction workers & sailors as opposed to become Biden’s Dims, Rinos’ Gold Star Soccer Moms.
Let’s ask them about all the Wars Trump started.
I would love to sit down with 38% of those polled and find out what they think Biden is doing right.
He had such a difficult time reading the teleprompter during his latest remarks on Ukraine, that it was painful to watch.
**** Biden Can’t Stop Laughing During Tense Ukraine Briefing ****
This was a critical moment for the Biden administration, and the words that come to mind are unbelievable, shocking, and disgusting. On Tuesday, Biden gave remarks on the ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine and announced new sanctions. Yet, when taking questions from journalists on the invasion of Ukraine, Mr. Biden appeared to smile and laugh on two occasions.
Piers Morgan, 56, reacted with a scathing tweet earlier today lashing out at Joe Biden as he made his announcement about the current Russia-Ukraine conflict. Morgan claimed to have seen Biden laugh “several times” during the televised White House address.
He wrote: “Biden just laughed several times during his Ukraine press conference.
What the f*** is he finding so funny?
Does he not realize the gravity of this situation? Does he not care that so many innocent people are being murdered? What a horribly inappropriate and shameful moment.”

There is ZERO respect either here or abroad for the demented, corrupt, cadaver now illegitimately occupying the White House and intentionally destroying our country. Joe Biden, take a bow. You’ve brought America nothing but ridicule and contempt. We hate you back. F*ck Joe Biden. and take the ‘Dr’ with you on your way to h – e – double – toothpicks.
IMPEACH Joe Biden. It cannot happen soon enough.
Let the American people hold a referendum on whether military action should be taken in Ukraine. It’s in their interest not to have their hearts broken.
Russia should have some of its territory taken, so that it knows what it is like.
Letting Russia and China vote in the United Nations is like letting devils cast votes in Heaven (not that the United Nations is heaven, but that the devils
would throw monkey wrenches into the works of the angels at every opportunity, as Russia will do with their veto on the security council.) These devils are all about posturing for power and dominance, and having the upper-hand at every twist and turn. Freedom-loving people don’t try to have you under their thumbs at all times. It makes no sense that such tyrannical behavior can happen in a body that has a declaration of human rights.
Just because you are not obligated to do something does not mean you cannot do it voluntarily, just because you want to, and you believe it is the right thing to do. If someone is trapped in a house fire, I am not obligated to save them, but I could still rush in there and do it anyway because I believe it is the right thing to do. Nothing prohibits me from doing so.
If Americans are America, and Americans have friends and family in Ukraine, then it is in America’s interest to help the Ukrainians.
Congrats. The dumbest argument so far advanced to justify killing American military for no purpose in particular.
Pentagon: “Russian plans to decapitate Ukraine government.”
Me: “Great! Thanks for letting me know this! Now, what do you intend to do about it?”
Crickets.
Why are they keeping tabs on activitiy that they are not stopping?
Because they’re not security guards, but security monitors.

The United States can act on its own, independent of NATO, to enforce the Budapest Memorandum, which it promised to enforce. The justification to act is there, now we just need the political will to do so.
Just because somene can attack you for a view that you express does not mean it is wrong, invalid, and without merit.
Oops Joe. We no longer have to imagine what 1 year can bring in Ukraine under the wrong U.S. President.
