In an early glimpse of what to expect from coverage of this election, MSNBC and CNN hosts went into full rage mode with the Iowa caucus results. MSNBC host Joy Reid led this effort by declaring that “White Christians” are racists who want minorities to “bow down” to them.
Reid asked about this manifest racism of white Christians in a conversation with Robert “Robbie” Jones, the president and founder of Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) and author of “The Hidden Roots of White Supremacy.”
Reid explained to anyone who was confused about their white Christian neighbors:
“All the things that we think about, about electability, about what are people gaming out, but none of that matters when you believe that God has given you this country, that it is yours, and that everyone who is not a White, conservative Christian is a fraudulent American, is a less real American. Then you don’t care about electability. You care about what God has given you.”
She later added
“It is religion And I think what we have to actually confront – and this is what the Democrats are going to face – is this is now what White evangelicalism is. It is Christian nationalism. That’s the name of it, right?” It is all part of “White evangelical Christians of a certain mindset … that they own this country, that immigrants, that Brown people, that Hindus like Vivek Ramaswamy and his wife are illegitimate Americans. They are less legitimate Americans than they are…They’re not trying to convince people and win people over through politics. What they’re saying is, ‘We own this country, and everyone will bow down to us.’”
As we look at the rising anger in this country, this is a good part of it. In our echo chambered coverage, viewers hear of the effort to suppress all minorities (including apparently minority GOP presidential candidates) and how this “may be our last election.” Yet, these same hosts will denounce others for their reckless language as they fuel racist and rage rhetoric.
Reid’s colleague MSNBC Host Rachel Maddow censored Trump’s victory speech and said that the network would not allow viewers to hear him because he said “untrue things.” MSNBC would allow viewers to hear the victory speeches of anyone it deems as speaking truthfully about political issues.
Much like our politics, our media often seems captured by the most extreme elements of our society. It explains why the media is now at an all-time low in terms of trust. However, the most concerning aspect is that this is just the beginning of January. We have to make it to November.
I think that we saw something like this ominous moment 15 years ago to the day…
Now imagine a TV “personality” discussing Muslims in such a fashion. Now imagine a discussion about gays having a certain mindset. Now Hispanics. Now Blacks. Now Jews. Now trans people.
Finally,Joy Reid gets some right….our Founding Fathers had a genuine faith in God.
As today, even back then there were some that were less religious than others.
For years, Church services were held in the Capitol building.
Most importantly, they created a system of government that was meant too protect the People from the tyranny of government.
They believed our individual freedoms came from God….and not Man.
They got it right.
That each of those that signed the Declaration of Independence were White is reflective of those times.
The participation and emancipation of people including Women happened over time and brings us to where we are today with the blessings of freedom being applied to each of us.
Other great Men such as Martin Luther King, Thomas Sowell, Frederick Douglass, George Washington Carver, Thurgood Marshall Clarence Thomas, have followed in their belief as well.
Today’s Leftist are a Godless lot who hate with irrational vigor anyone or anything that does not fit with their own self righteous and self serving beliefs.
I have said the very best way of jabbing a sharp stick into the virtual eye of those kinds of people is by seeing Donald Trump elected to the Presidency for a second term.
Just consider the reaction to the results of one State’s primary in the wake of Iowa’s Return last night.
There is your evidence that proves me right and how wrong the radical Democrat Agenda is and has become.
That evil Agenda must be destroyed once and forever and this Nation be returned to some rational approach to government.
Process and procedure along with policy are important.
The Rule of Law, equality under the Law, and seeing the value of others and showing mutual respect is how this Nation become the Beacon of Freedom to the World.
We cannot and must not allow th eDemocrat Party extinguish that light in its quest for power and dominance over every aspect of our Lives.
This and “Democracy is on the ballot!” and other like cries are all we are going to hear between now and November. And probably after November.
It would be laughable if they were not so deranged.

Iowa caucuses put Biden on the electoral map. Iowa elected Obama twice. Iowa had an extensive role in the underground railroad. So either Reid is like most leftist, and wipes their mind of all history when they awake in the morning, or she just reads a script handed to her.

A CBS poll has Trump at 50% nationwide. While he only has a 2pt lead over Biden and that is within the margin of error.
This is till very significant. It means that Biden is NOT beating Trump among undecided voters.
Trump won by 51%, and the largest margin of Victory in Iowa Ever. The first win by over 20pts EVER. Trump won by NEARLY 30 pts,

Trump got 97% in 2020, so it’s a huge drop for him.
As for his current 51%, plenty of others have gotten bigger margins, including:
Carter — 59% in 1980.
Al Gore — 63% in 2000.
Clinton — 98% in 1996.
Obama — 98% in 2012.

Comments like hers are breeding attitudes detrimental to race relations in America. Why are they being made when the outcome is so obvious? Hate. People making these statements are so infected with hatred that it overrules their ability to think critically. The expression of racial bias against white people was legitimized by Barack Obama during his presidency and continues today. This reverse racism and the prejudice it has created dooms the harmony we sought between the races for the previous seven decades. May Joy wear the mantle of that outcome proudly.

For much of my life racism and other forms of inappropriate discrimination have been significantly declining.
We have hit a speed bump at the moment – SOME on the left are actively making things WORSE.
But it is my sense that as more thought is being given these are the aberration not the norm.

I suggest you do something positive — call your County Election Office, and discuss every specific concern — ask how counter-measures to cheating work. Ask what defects occurred in the 2022 cycle, and how patched. Ask point blank, “If you were an overzealous campaign operative plotting how to grab an additional 1000 votes in Nov. without getting caught, what would you be looking at?”
