Prehistoric Family Values: Senator Who Defended Traditional Marriage Is Sentenced for Slashing Face of Girlfriend and Dragging Her Through the Apartment Lobby

Hiram Monserrate attracted statewide attention in New York as one of the Democrats who defended “traditional marriage” and “family values” in recently voting down a bill that would have made same-sex marriage legal the state. His concept of family values was questioned after he was sentenced for assaulting his girlfriend Karla Giraldo. Monserrate slashed Giraldo’s face and dragged her through the lobby of his Queens apartment building. Good old family values from the Paleolithic Period.

Monserrate, an ex-Marine, was reportedly upset after he found another man’s business card in her purse. The glass broke against her face, cutting her near her left eye down to her skull and left a lasting scar.

He was originally charged with two felony counts and two misdemeanor counts of assault but acquitted him on the two felony assault charges. The evidence included a security video camera that showed Monserrate dragging Ms. Giraldo through the lobby of his apartment building and medical statements showing extensive bruises on her body.

He convicted on a single count of misdemeanor assault, which could carry a maximum of one year behind bars. But, as a first time offender, Queens Supreme Court Justice William Erlbaum gave Monserrate three years’ probation, 250 hours of community service and counseling

    Because identifying a gene and a ready made market tests are two separate things. Genetically people are born with certain eye colors too. You can’t test that at home yet either. You can, however, go talk to a geneticist about it. They can tell you anything you want about genes with PCR and someone who knows how to read the results. You know, reading. Like that thing you do to English without any comprehension or retention.

    You don’t make discrete units in your mind very well, do you? I notice you have a lot of problems making distinctions. Like can and may. Like fantasy and reality.

    If you want the gene tested contact ANY geneticist and tell them the genes you are interested in isolating. You don’t even have to know the name of the gene. They don’t expect you to know. They’re experts you see. Unlike you. Even if they don’t know what a gene does, they can find it. And it would appear Dr. Herek knows which genes to look at so all the worse for you.

    But you can get tested for it.

    It won’t mean your child won’t be born homosexual. The fact that homosexuality manifests in a small percentage of society, like blonde hair, shows it may be a recessive gene and just not as predictable as you might like for your discrimination purposes. Just like blonde hair. So guess what? The kids may turn out straight.

    All your grandkids could be gay though.

    So you go ahead and have ’em. Guess what? You get the job of disposing of any homosexual children you have in your lineage since you’re the one that doesn’t want them or consider them human. Enjoy being a child killer. Or an abandoning them. That’s probably more your style. It’s also about par for your hateful course. Which brings up a point. Since sexuality is a maturing behavior it relates to time. Are you going to keep the kids until they start acting gay or just kill them when the test comes back? Either way, a sane woman would kill YOU rather than let you harm their children over your bigotry. This isn’t Sparta no matter your delusions.

    And you want an easy test you can go get today. Never mind that the ready made market tests for H1N1 are returning up to 80% false positives because they are a bad test. You don’t want no fags and you don’t want them right now! PCR tests are expensive and very accurate and they take weeks to complete. That test can show if ANY specific gene (it’s function identified or not) is present if you pay for an expert to administer it and read the results.

    That ought to hold you over until you can buy your “Elimi-Fag Baby Testing Kit” over the counter, badman.

    However I wouldn’t hold my breath on that product coming to market any time soon. See, manufactures would never assume the risk that some rocket surgeon like yourself would use the information illegally: say to discriminate or as justification for infanticide by an ignorant redneck. The first lawsuit would destroy them from stem to stern.

    Homosexuality is a naturally occurring phenomena whether you like it or not. Being hateful and angry about it makes just about as much sense as being hateful and angry about the wind. Which is oddly coincidental considering most of the time you are about as cogent as a dog howling at the wind, but I digress. Back to homosexuals. They are naturally occurring in multiple mammalian species. That’s a fact. So unless you are saying God made a mistake, you really need to just shut up at the point math makes you a liar.
