Best wishes to everyone celebrating Christmas and Hanukkah. To paraphrase Tiny Tim, “And God bless us, everyone . . . even Legal Satyricon.”

Merry Christmas,
and for those that like Shakespeare I found this web site:
http://shakespeare.mit.edu/
it is the complete works.
My Children and Grandchildren are in so my presence will be scarce for the next week. I wont be around much so all the best to JT and all my friends here and let us find ourselves with a free, tolerant and hope-filled New Year. Below is my second favorite Christmas song, more for the voice than the lyrics.
Mike
To all who gather here:
I have no gift to bring, pa rum pum pum pum
That’s fit to give the King, pa rum pum pum pum,
rum pum pum pum, rum pum pum pum,
Shall I play for you, pa rum pum pum pum,
On my drum?
Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-blog …
This just in, Jonathan Turley declares war on Christmas!

Merry Christmas Nal.
I want to add that I saw the most beautiful thing today at the park. There’s a long pathway that is part of an overlook. Towards the end of the path tulip petals were left, leading down to a spiral full of the pink, yellow tipped flowers and petals. They lay on top of the snow and ice with the rain coming down so hard. Their life just glistened, pulsing through so much grayness. I thank whoever had the depth of spirit and joy of life to create such a thing for anyone to take delight in. It was a beautiful gift from a generous heart.
This thread is like a DYI TV holiday special! Thank you Professor for setting up this play-room and for the eclectic visitors you invite in to amuse and enlighten each other.
One of the best things about the winter holiday/winter solstice season is that it means that seed catalogs and the spring planting season are on the way. So in honor of the lengthening days and the fallow fields, back yards, window boxes and flower beds just waiting to be planted I want to give a holiday nod to agriculture, the foundation of civilization and the brewers that made it all possible:

It does not surprise me that one would celebrate the rejuvenation of life force by doing such a thing. However the proper incantation must be followed in order to not drum up evil that lies within us all. A true pagan goddess would need not celebrate in this fashion as it would be celebrated in a royal fashion for her highness, dignity and pleasure of her divinity.
The next celebration will be the beginning of spring on imbolic day, candlemas or if you prefer candlemas day. Coincidence that it is 40 day after the 25 of December? Hmm, I wonder what the significance is?
On these high holy days holidays, I always feel conflicted in what to say. Christmas is one loaded holiday. People who have lost loved ones, whose family members are at war, who have been thrown from their homes without food or shelter, who have a rough time with it for whatever the reason, I wish some happiness comes today or that the day passes quickly.
To those who celebrate, I wish happiness as well!
At my home, we celebrate Solstice with jasmine, rose petals, pine needles, candles, drumming and a labyrinth walk.
So safe travel. Thanks JT for providing this space to us all. And thank you Marc for being a wonderful source of great amusement this year! Hope that chapping clears right up with the miracle of the baby Jesus’ and Santa’s combined forces for good!
Baaaach, humbug.
just kidding.
John Lennon,
Dear John,
Not much has changed since you have left this earth.
Professor Turley,
My sincere gratitude to You and All who hang out here, for providing this heartfelt good cheer and presence, today and throughout the year! Best Wishes for All here and everywhere!
Let us now pray “Our Animal Overlords” relax and let us chill!

Who says that even with the Professor’s guidance we aren’t still hanging out in speakeasys and poolhalls?
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all on Prof. Turley’s blog! It has been a messy Christmas here with rain, freezing rain and snow coming later. We have to hurry up and get in the car again! Be safe!
The first white Christmas in Texas in 80 plus years? Is anyone else hearing HAARP music? 🙂 “I’m Dreaming of a White Christas” has a whole new meaning these days!
(“Angels Don’t Play This HAARP: Advances in Tesla Technology” by Manning and Begich)
(I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but had to weigh in with this.)
No They have already threatened to put me in a bad nusing home. I hope they were joking. This is the first white Christmas in Texas in 80 plus years.
