The Vatican’s Chief Exorcist, Father Gabriele Amorth, 85, has gone public with an allegation that “the Devil is at work inside the Vatican.” He also reveals that the devil has a playful side and often mocks him.
Father Amorth says that he has handled 70,000 cases of demonic possession and sees satanic influences in the Church, including “cardinals who do not believe in Jesus, and bishops who are linked to the Demon.”
What is interesting is that he not only cites the abuse cases but what he calls the “cover-up” in the 1998 death of Alois Estermann, the then commander of the Swiss Guard, who was found with the bodies of his wife and Corporal Cedric Tornay, a Swiss Guard. The Church quickly closed the case, finding that Corporal Tornay shot the commander and his wife and then turned his gun on himself after being passed over for a medal. However there has long been a belief that there was a homosexual relationship and that a fourth person was involved. Last week, the Vatican was rocked by another scandal involving gay liaisons, here.
Father Amorth sees the devil behind everything from the mentally disturbed woman who threw herself at Pope Benedict XVI at the start of Midnight Mass to corruption in the church. He explains that the devil is “pure spirit, invisible. But he manifests himself with blasphemies and afflictions in the person he possesses. He can remain hidden, or speak in different languages, transform himself or appear to be agreeable. At times he makes fun of me.”
He previously warned against reading J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter novels but he likes the 1973 film The Exorcist.
He is the president of honor of the Association of Exorcists. The association’s conventions must be a gas.

I’m a little skeptical of the nails and glass flying out of people’s mouths but the rest of what he has to say makes more sense than not.
Just look at the RCC … evil is a viable explanation and probably has been for centuries. Which explains why they would want to grant sainthood to the Grand Poobah Protector of Pediphiles, John Paul II … a further continuation of the Big Lie.
If they really do believe there is a God … do they honestly think they’re fooling Him?

If this exorcist is correct there is at least one person of honesty and integrity at the Vatican but I doubt that there are two such.
