Perhaps there is hope for Republicans and Democrats after all . . .
Now I want to see the same picture with Rush Limbaugh cradled in the arms of Ed Schultz.
In other news, today we are picking up our new puppy, a Goldendoodle. Pictures will follow.
CE,
I am for sure you can be all the princess you want and you’ll still get what you want.
Slarti,
If memory serves me correctly, Michigan got its fair share of Cuban’s and of course the finest of any Mexican food you could ever want.
One of know of is on Michigan Avenue just South of 127, even further south than Bud Kouts or Koutz Chevy. You say it like Che Vee…..
Fajitas really aren’t Mexican food. They are tex mex at best. Was in Austin last weekend. Ate Mexican food 3 out of 4 meals so that shows how much I like it. Try to avoid tex mex if possible although some of it is okay. Open faced street tacos are what I like now.
Canadian Eh,
I will probably be in Michigan in July (my summer is somewhat up in the air right now), but the offer’s still open if you’re ever in the area (the same area I’m in, that is). If you’re passing through the triangle (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill) I can point you to an outstanding barbeque place (shredded pork in a vinegar sauce with hush puppies and slaw – a Carolina delicacy, much better than it sounds ;-)).
AY,
My cooking is the real deal – and if you know where to go, you can find authentic Mexican food around here – I go to the taco stand where all of the Mexicans go for take-out…
Isn’t that the meaning of Southern Hospitality afterall?
AY,
I am pretty confident that someone will make sure that I have whatever I ask for…within reason of course 🙂
Canadian Eh.,
If I have an ideal of where you are going south then the odds are slim that you will get anything close to the real deal. What you will probably get is hot and spicy. However, I hear what you are going to get is hot and ……..
Slarti…
Thanks for the offer…I love guac and steak Fajitas….all Mexican food actually. Although, in truth, I probably have never truly tasted real Mexican food up here in Canada. I’m looking forward to a real sample during my trip south this coming July 🙂
Byron,
I’m not much of a fan of Elvis’ epicurean experiments – although they weren’t as bad as the thought of a Limbaugh-Schultz embrace. And, musically speaking, I’ll take Liverpool over Memphis any day…
Epicure? is that similar to Manicure 🙂
Elaine:
So you are not into the comparative theological applications of the banana peanut butter creationist evolutionary dynamic? And are just saying that Elvis was an Epicurean?
Again, at your leisure

Well I would mention Teddy Dupay but he’s a rapist.
Byron–
Elvis wasn’t concerned with the evolutionary “truths” that could be disproved by peanut butter and bananas–only in the epicurean pleasure he could derive from eating them together in a sandwich. It had nothing to do with Elvis’s religious beliefs–at least as far as I know.
CO2 Absorption Spectrum
There is no Valid Mechanism for CO2 Creating Global Warming
Saturation is a term physicists use when all suitable radiation gets absorbed, so adding more CO2 cannot absorb more radiation. Whatever CO2 did in the past, adding more CO2 cannot change anything.

Bdaman,
Good for Bobby! Thanks for the info. I was actually a Cameron Crazie in the ’91-92 season in my first tour at Duke. Watching Laettner outlet to Hurley sprinting up the court and throwing the alley-oop to G. Hill for a season was great. Hurley was the second-best point guard I’ve ever seen live (I’m not sure that anything could ever surpass Magic throwing it up and Special K throwing it down in Jennison Fieldhouse in 1979 in the first basketball game I saw live…).

Can I get back to you on that one. I need some time to figure that one out 🙂
Bdaman,
As I’ve said, I was the #2 or 3 Cameron Crazie back in my day (I held the right flank of the undisputed #1 Cameron Crazie, the Viking Guy, in the Four Fat Guy Phalanx). I’ve left that behind now – there comes a point where jumping up and down and yelling at the top of your lungs for two hours makes you want to go and ice down your entire body instead of going out and drinking more beer… I still have my memories and my autographed Bobby Hurley jersey, though.
And don’t worry about burning – I’m against adding additional carbon to the atmosphere… (lynching is right out). All you need is a solid debunking from time to time…
Why would Slarti go to the extra effort and expense of buying rope when trolls are so good as hoisting yourselves on your own petard?

Sometimes this necessitates merely waiting.
