Top 100: ABA Top Blog Competition Begins

It is that time of the year for our annual blawgletting — the ABA top blog competition. We have once again been selected as one of the top 100 legal blogs (of over 3000) and nominated for the IMHO (opinion) category and it is time to release our minions upon the field of blog battle. Vote here to defend our way of life and the future of the planet.

This year, the editors put us up against pretty tough competition: the conservative legal site The Volokh Conspiracy. VC is one of the top most visited sites with an extremely loyal following.

Remember no high school friend is too distant or any relationship too casual to be coerced into voting. What better way to reestablish a long dormant relationship than a call to discuss this blog and its insatiable need for attention and approval?

Good luck to all of the competitors (even those in the IMHO category)!

    VC 75

And the Bronco’s? They still play football? 😉

  2. Prof.,

True, true. Fortune smiles on the guy close enough to throw a rock and yet far enough from the giant to run away if needed.

    Speaking of which:

    JT 85
    VC 68

    That’s the widest margin yet.

    Go Team Turley!

    1. BIL:

Indeed, the key for David was to remain some distance from Goliath at all times!

  3. Thanks Mike!

    That makes the current tally:

    JC 70
    VC 61

Let’s keep that lead as close to 10+ points as possible people!

  4. Took me awhile to sign in but I’m in at 69. Each year I keep forgetting how I’m registered. So much for the voting early, but still time for the voting often

    1. Thanks Mike. We are all thrilled to have you back with us. I hope that you are feeling great. I know that this is a long recovery. We have been collectively sending positive vibs to you from the blog.

  5. It is almost a dead heat with VC: TB 63 VC 61

Someone is not calling old boyfriends and girlfriends. Don’t let those awkward moments discourage you.

  6. JT 63
    VC 60

Come on people! Step up to the plate for the Professor! If this blog has ever taught you something, made you laugh or just flat out pissed you off, voting is a small price for the services rendered! Call your friends! Wake the kids! Get the pets their own e-mail! But get out and vote!

    Gyges,

I bet George Clinton loves ol’ Roy, because he could sure make it funky.

  7. JT=63
    CV=57

    Buddha,

Roy McCurdy, he took over as the drummer for Adderley’s group from Louis Haynes in ’66 and after that played in all the albums up to the last one.

  8. Gyges,

That was tight! Who was their drummer? No slam to the rest of the band, but he’s on it.

  9. Prof.T-

Thanks for the wealth and happiness- I can use some of each. I love your website and all who dwell therein. Lots of info. Lots of great people. Lots of fun.

    Regards,
    HenMan (#57)
