The Islamic State continued its campaign against civilization this week with the demolishment of a 1,500 year old monastery. ISIS views no religion but Islam as worthy of worship and kills non-believers as acts of true faith. ISIS has also abducted dozens of Christians and is known to sell girls as sex slaves — again claiming such rapes as acts of Islamic morality in its twisted reading of the Koran.
The bulldozing of the Saint Elian Monastery follows the execution of one of the world’s leader archeologists in Syria.
The monastery stood since the 5th Century, but was brought down by Islamic fanatics in bulldozers.
Christian priest Jacques Mourad, who lived at the monastery, is missing after being kidnapped. Mourad was renowned for sheltering both Muslim and Christian Syrians in Homs province.
Max, when people just continue to double down on hypocrisy and bigotry, it weakens almost anything that person has to say. It’s fundamentalism that should be under scrutiny, not entire religions. A person can practice any religion while ignoring the nutty passages in their own holy books. Large parts of the Bible, the Koran and any number of holy books sound like someone wrote them while on some sort of hallucinogenic.

Your failure to see a connection between the various topics is your weakness, not mine. This article, if you noticed, mentions that this individual may have been involved in underage prostitution. Did you miss that part? I didn’t. My mention of Bill Clinton, who has had his fair share of problems in the past, including current accusations of being involved in an underage prostitution ring, is not off-topic in a discussion about what this guy in Florida should face given his possible involvement in underage prostitution. It’s called making a comparison–one which has some relevance. Not the same as speaking about the topic of patriarchy regardless of the subject matter. Nice try.

I once provided some of the 109 verses in Islamic religious instruction, which specifically call for the violence we see daily, around the world, on a consistent basis, by Muslims. For that, I was called a thread hog.
What you fail to realize or acknowledge, for various reasons, is that there is no widespread terror pertaining to adherents following the aforementioned Biblical passages that you quote. There may still be various prohibitions, where certain behaviors are deemed to be contrary to religious law, but civilized individuals no longer use a literal definition with regard to the severe aforementioned punishments. Your failure to acknowledge that fact makes your argument, once again, weak. Even given the Biblical prohibitions against homosexuality, I have a feeling that you, as an avowed homosexual, would fare much better in a Judeo-Christian society than in an Islamic one. By fare much better, I mean survive. Your Muslim buddies would throw you off of a roof, and that’s if you’re lucky.

Bill Clinton has been specifically named as a participant in an underage prostitution scandal, and he has been named as the aggressor in numerous, NUMEROUS, sexual assaults for decades. The media remains mum. It even ignores the numerous accounts of women who were threatened into silence by his enforcer, The Hildebeest. Google it. Sexual assaults that date back to Clinton’s days in college and continue for years. Where is all the moral outrage? This dumb schlub, who is a school administrator in Florida, is a nobody, hence, the calls for his head.
