Police Seek To Identify Attackers Of Man Outside Of The Minnesota Twins Stadium

Minnesota police are looking for a group of men who brutally attacked a man who was sitting outside of the Minnesota Twins stadium. The two minute videotape below shows the man savagely attacked by at least six young males who strip him, stomp on him, and rob him. It is the utter glee of the attackers that is so chilling in the film as they laugh at his suffering.

The man is attacked after one of the men grabs something out of his hand. What follows is a mob attack with the felons laughing as they run him over with a bike, jump on him, and kick him.

It is very likely that these individuals did not visit the stadium area for the first time before this attack. One would think that the police would be able to generate better images of the suspects.

We have recently saw a similar mob attack here in Washington, though we also saw such viciousness in an individual attack recently in London. It is the total lack of empathy or humanity that makes these videotapes so disturbing. Where most people are inclined to want to help someone in suffering, these attackers find such suffering thrilling and funny. That is precisely why they are such dangers to society and need to be found.

  1. This is just one more example of why you need to be careful in areas where there are a lot of blacks. I think they should change POC from People of Color, to People of Crime. Like I have been saying, there are a bunch of black savages in the country.

    1. Spokane has the highest crime rate of cities in Washington state. But only 2% of the population is African-American and they aren’t the source of the crimes.

Learn some sociology, Squeeky, instead of just Making Stuff Up.

      1. David Benson is the God Emperor of Making Stuff Up and owes me thirty-five citations (one from the OED, one from the town ordinances and two from the Old Testament), an equation and the source of a quotation, after forty-three weeks, and needs to cite all his work from now on. citation needed

He who asserts must back it up. Back it up it or forever SHUT UP>

      2. Almost every year over 50 percent of those arrested for murder are AA males. Being that they make up less than 6.5 percent of the population but account for over 50 percent of the arrests I’d say there’s a problem

        1. Controlling crime is the problem. You staff your police for amply, deploy it optimally, nurture it so that the institutional culture therein is to be out on the street with your eyes open and not quaffing doughnuts. Arrest, investigate, try, imprison. Let the chips fall where they may and don’t worry about ratios as long as you’re treating like cases like (best you can in complex bureaucracies). We tolerate in slum neighborhoods and zones adjacent homicide rates of 33 per 100,000 when we know that 12 per 100,000 is an achievable goal.

          1. “chips fall where they may” will always lead to the obvious incarceration of black hoodlums at a rate which shocks liberal conscience who imagine that the explanation comes from white racism. actually it just comes from their own peculiar propensity for violence which if you look around the world, it’s pretty hard to believe is not INNATE

not for each individual but for their groups as such. so, avoid their groups at all costs to your physical health.

that’s what “White flight” and prison gangs and “mass incarceration” is all about in the end. Not racism but order.

fail to adjust, fail to survive

            1. if you look around the world, it’s pretty hard to believe is not INNATE

There are wild variations in homicide rates from one Caribbean island to another. Biology doesn’t get you very far if you want to understand why that is.

            2. at a rate which shocks liberal conscience who imagine that the explanation comes from white racism.

A succession of New York governors have put up with that disproportion for over 4 decades.

      3. Dingaling David:

You picked a state, Washington, which has a black population of about 3%. I am not even sure what sort of relevancy your first statement has to what I said.

Perhaps though, you could test your theory! Simply travel to South Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, D.C., New Orleans, or Memphis, and take a stroll thru their black neighborhoods, at night!

Then, if you are still living, stroll thru Spokane!

I think that is a fair test!

      4. Spokane does not have the highest rate of crime in Washington state. That would be Tukwila.

According to the FBI Uniform Crime Rate Reporting Statistics website for 2014 (the most recent year available), these are the top 10 ranked by city agency.

        1) Tukwila Police Dept WA 818.2
        2) Tacoma Police Dept WA 798.2
        3) Lakewood WA 644
        4) City Of Seatac WA 637
        5) Aberdeen Police Dept WA 634.1
        6) Seattle Police Dept WA 603.7
        7) City Of Port Orchard Police Dept WA 601
        8) Spokane Police Dept WA 547.8
        9) City Of Port Angeles Police Dept WA 546.3
        10) Bremerton Police Dept WA 528.5

        Source: https://ucrdatatool.gov/

Tukwila has 40% of its residents being foreign born. There is a very large Somali population there. https://www.bloomberg.com/features/2016-america-divided/tukwila-refugees/

          1. David Benson is the God Emperor of Making Stuff Up and owes me thirty-five citations (one from the OED, one from the town ordinances and two from the Old Testament), an equation and the source of a quotation, after forty-three weeks, and needs to cite all his work from now on. – how many times have I told you to be careful with Wikipedia. I never let my students use it as a source.

        1. I would say with ease that Somalians are the most undesirable foreign element which has entered the US en masse the past 30 years. Other people would say so too.

Some people were denouncing it 20 some years ago. “Racists” they were called.

      5. they were black, he was white. not making anything up. you keep on with your fantasies fool

an outnumbered assailant is almost always done, screwed, unless he has a weapon

the victim will now join the NRA

    2. “This is just one more example of why you need to be careful in areas where there are a lot of blacks.”

You’re so right. Fortunately in areas with a lot of whites, from Texas to Connecticut, one never sees homicides or mass murder. Doesn’t happen. Whites are the definition of peaceful.

Or maybe you were just generalizing rather than holding the individuals in this even accountable? Pardon me for dismissing your typical boring racism.

      1. The homicide rate in the non-metropolitan counties in Upstate New York averages < 1.2 per 100,000. That in the slum neighborhoods of central Rochester averages 35 per 100,000.

          1. A utility issued by the Rochester Police Department will show you the location of each of the 156 homicides which occurred in Rochester, NY during the calendar years 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017. You can make use of the Census utility ‘American Fact Finder’ to build a map which will tell you that 141 of these homicides occurred over 51 of the city’s 83 census tracts, for a mean rate of 30 per 100,000 over those four years. (The homicide rate in the rest of the city averaged < 5 per 100,000 during those four years).

The state Division of Criminal Justice Services offers a summary sheet of crimes reported over the calendar years 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. There were 203 homicides over that five year period in one or another of the 41 non-metropolitan counties of Upstate New York. American Fact Finder queries will tell you that 2.9 million people live in those 41 counties. The homicide rate therein is thus 1.4 per 100,000

      2. Yes this is why in Asian Majority Flushing New York they have a comparatively lower rate of homicide than the black neighborhoods., This actually is about race– not a matter of all the human races but the one with the greatest propensity for disorganized ,random violence– but a lot of white people feel to guilty to state the obvious.

One could make an argument that the white or asian races have a greater propensity for organized violence and I think that would be fair considering Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Chinggis Khan. But for disorganized violence the black race reigns supreme worldwide.

  2. From the video on You Tube:

[“The Minneapolis Police Department has arrested more than a dozen suspects involved in crime ring that focused on robbing cellphones from intoxicated people and then beating the victims.

According to a report provided by Minneapolis police spokesperson John Elder, a three-day sweep conducted two weeks ago ended with police arresting 16 people between the ages of 13 and 25. The suspects are seen on surveillance video punching, kicking and riding over one man with a bike.

The robberies occurred near Hennepin, First and Second avenues, between Third and Sixth streets, and happened between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m.

The suspects were mostly boys and men, with a female sometimes present. They would “finesse” the victim — looking for an easy target, such as someone who was intoxicated and alone, looking at their cellphone at times. Elder said half of the assailants are juveniles.

One of the incidents happened on Aug. 3 near Target Field. According to the criminal complaint, the footage shows approxiamtely 12 males attempting to take a cellphone from a male victim, viciously beating him. The suspects are seen ripping the vicitim’s shoes and pants off and then going through his pockets. The victim is noted to be punched and kicked in the head several times throughout the altercation. At one point, the complaint states the victim is thrown to the ground — left motionless — then repeatedly jumped on, hit with planting pots and ridden over with a bicycle. Once police arrive, the victim and all suspects involved are gone.

Then on Sept. 6, after further investigation, officers recognized one of the assailants from the video and arrested him. He is identified as Boris Likuwa Lusumbo, 20. The video shows Lusumbo running toward the victim along with other attackers after the victim was struck by another attacker. He was seen picking up something off the ground that the victim dropped and walked away with it. Lusumbo admitted it was him in the video to police. He has been charged with first-degree aggravated robbery and faces up to 20 years in prison for the crime, if convicted.”]

The source for the above is this linked article that contains additional information:

    1. surimike – he was on his cellphone and distracted. If he was armed, they just would have taken the gun away from him.

      1. Paul:
No we mean armed and aware. The two go hand-in-hand. You see a crowd gather around you, you immediately get off the damn phone and move to safety or at least where your back is protected, and, if necessary, lock and load and handle the problem first aggressor first making sure that’s your obvious plan. No one wants to be first. Oh and you empty the magazine if you decide to fire before exiting the scene. No Wyatt Earping allowed. You need to think about this before the fact. This numbskull obviously didn’t.

  3. Why Oil and Water Don’t Mix

“No matter how much you mix oil and water, they always separate. Chemicals that don’t mix are said to be immiscible. The reason this happens is because of the chemical nature of oil and water molecules.”

    – Thoughtco

To mix oil and water, emulsifiers are required. Guilt-ridden, bleeding heart liberals illegally imposed the unconstitutional emulsifiers of generational welfare, affirmative action, quotas, welfare, food stamps, rent control, social services, forced busing, minimum wage, utility subsidies, WIC, TANF, HAMP, HARP, Dept.’s of Agriculture, Commerce, Education, Labor, Energy, Obamacare, Obamaphones, Social Security, Social Security Disability, Social Security Supplemental Income, Medicare, Medicaid, “Fair Housing” laws, “Non-Discrimination” laws, etc. to force the “mixture” of oil and water in America.

  4. “The influx of foreigners must, therefore, tend to produce a heterogeneous compound; to change and corrupt the national spirit; to complicate and confound public opinion; to introduce foreign propensities. In the composition of society, the harmony of the ingredients is all-important, and whatever tends to a discordant intermixture must have an injurious tendency.”

    – Alexander Hamilton

United States Congress, “An act to establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization” (March 26, 1790).

“Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled, That any Alien being a free white person,…”

    “…to ourselves and our posterity.”

    – Preamble to the U.S. Constitution

We gave you “…a republic, if you can keep it.”

    – Ben Franklin

  5. “If all earthly power were given me,” said Lincoln in a speech delivered in Peoria, Illinois, on October 16, 1854, “I should not know what to do, as to the existing institution [of slavery]. My first impulse would be to free all the slaves, and send them to Liberia, to their own native land.” After acknowledging that this plan’s “sudden execution is impossible,” he asked whether freed blacks should be made “politically and socially our equals?” “My own feelings will not admit of this,” he said, “and [even] if mine would, we well know that those of the great mass of white people will not … We can not, then, make them equals.”

    – Abraham “Crazy Abe” Lincoln

  6. Since they targeted the only white guy in the screen, who was sitting quietly, I wonder if it was racially motivated. That aspect should be investigated, although, to be honest, all crimes are hate crimes.

This was truely a disgusting attack on multiple levels. They ganged up on him and kept kicking him when he was down, like cowards. Very predatory behavior.

Well, they’ll soon have put themselves into a cage, told when to get up, what to eat, and when to go to the bathroom. Guess they showed him. Hopefully, their victim will recover, and go on to live a full and productive life. Clearly, they are putting all of their efforts into putting themselves in prison, where they will miss out on everything, and be beaten themselves.

I don’t know how it is in Minnesota, but here in CA, it is quite difficult to do jail time. Perhaps it is different in Minnesota. In any case, with effort, they can achieve their goal of ruining their own lives.

Paul, you mentioned at least one was Nigerian. I don’t know if he was born here or not. There is a big difference between people who immigrate here for student visas, H1B visas, or through Church groups, and a random cross section of the population in various countries in the region. That’s true of any country with a high rate of violence. The African immigrant people I’ve worked with have been bright, kind, and hard working. There is also a lot of violence in the region, so if you take someone at random, you could get someone violent.

The same could be said of gangland, USA. If Sweden accepted an immigrant from Compton or any of the other high density gang neighborhoods on a student visa, with high grades required, they would get someone studious. If they accepted anyone at random standing on a street corner, they might get Crips.

    1. Karen S – I think they are being identified as Somali now. One has been identified, arrested and admitted to the crime. I assume they they are looking for the others. I listened to Tim Pool talk about the same attack and he was talking about how the approach is to surround the victim and the take everything they have as fast as possible. The brutality of this attack was extra.

    2. After they’ve done three years in the Minnesota State pen, take down their biometrics and deport them. Put their data on a watch list. If they ever attempt to re-enter the U.S., it’s 3 years in a maximum security federal prison, after which deport them again.

    1. Thomas J. Beiter…………Yes, it seems the savages are all “people of color”… and the victim, who is bruised beyond belief, you could say is the “color purple”.

  7. I have never been so disgusted watching these thugs actually take turns jumping on a man that is down. Obviously this is a gang of hoodlums who planned this attack. And we all know that they’ve done this before and probably the police know who they are. THey should be arrested as should their parents who allowed such monsters to be raised. This is disgusting behavior. But given our court system, even if caught they will spend no time and it will be a minor infraction to their record. Then when they finally murder someone everyone will say “They were such good boys, straight A students, the police are biased against them, they deserve another chance.” Oh the lies that have been perpetuated on the American people about justice.

      1. Assuming what you say is true, which it might be then a police officer is next on the list. But what do we hear? Not that police officers are being attacked or killed, not that they are being inhibited from doing their jobs rather that police officers are racists and are targetting certain groups of people. They are. They are targetting the criminal population or at least that is what they are supposed to do except when leftist politicans enter the picture trying to advocate things that are unnatural.

        1. I know the gangs. The Bloods, Crips, Latin Kings, Hells Angels, Banditos.

If you want a promotion, you got to kill a cop, prosecutor, or the judge

          1. Jerry, I didn’t say what you said was wrong and I inferred that was a possibility though not a certainty. My point was that all too many don’t seem to understand a policeman’s role in our society and the dangers they run.

      2. no that was just a “day at the park” for some somali thugs who see a weak and stupid and outumbered white guy and TOOK HIS STUFF

  8. This attack is disgusting and I’m sure we all hope the perps are arrested and punished. The question is why JT likes to publicize these type crimes? Does he think this a new in human behavior? That is wrong, as your chances of being attacked or killed by a fellow human being are, on a per capita basis, lower now than ever in human history. Does he think despicable and disgusting behavior such as this is new? That would be wrong as well, and I suggest he peruses the crowd photos from public lynchings in the last century or read how our ancestors dealt with “witches” and other outcasts.

As to the racial element, again disgusting, but imagining this is unique to blacks, as the usual troglodyte posters here seem to, this is from a 2017 FBI study:

Racial/ethnicity/ancestry bias (Based on Table 1.)
Among single-bias hate crime incidents in 2017, there were 5,060 victims of race/ethnicity/ancestry motivated hate crime.

48.6 percent were victims of crimes motivated by their offenders’ anti-Black or African American bias.
17.1 percent were victims of anti-White bias.
10.9 percent were victims of anti-Hispanic or Latino bias.
6.3 percent were victims of anti-American Indian or Alaska Native bias.
4.5 percent were victims of bias against a group of individuals in which more than one race was represented (anti-multiple races, group).
3.3 percent were victims of anti-Asian bias.
2.6 percent were victims of anti-Arab bias.
0.4 percent (18 individuals) were victims of anti-Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander bias.
6.4 percent were victims of anti-Other Race/Ethnicity/Ancestry bias.

Do we need to discuss Charleston again?

JT does a disservice to debate of serious issues when he publicizes this stuff as somehow something either new under the sun, or cause for racial animus. Yes, it’s outrageous behavior. No, and sadly it’s not new or unique, and it is definitiely not a defining characteristic of any racial group.

    1. “Bias crimes” are a tiny minority of all incidents, very often consist of things like vandalism, and are defined and enumerated in suspect ways. That’s just a red herring.

    2. The leading cause of death for young black men is murder and no one cares.

There was a school shooting where 10 people were injured but it was a black school so no one cares.

Charlestown’s violence was sparked by antifa and was allowed to grow out of control by the police and governor.

The people protesting the removal of the statues were outnumbered and by a lot.

Nazis have had protests without consequence in other cities and for decades.

Antifa attacked innocent people in Oregon too.

  9. You realize the bozos yapping about ‘mass incarceration’, ‘the carceral state’, ‘sentencing reform’, ‘criminal justice reform’ and the like object that people like this are sent to state prison rather than having to report to a probation officer once a week. (And the people yapping ‘black lives matter’ are pushing the nonsense that the police are a mortal danger to people and pushing the nonsense that white-on-black incidents are the modal form of violent crime in this country).

Liberals and black chauvinists are, quite simply, the enemies of ordinary people.

  10. Out of 25 cities with concerning violent crime statistics, Minneapolis ranked 25. With a violent crime rate of 1,063 reported incidents for every 100,000 residents, nearly three times the corresponding national rate, Minneapolis is one of the most dangerous cities in the country. In 2015, 47 murders were reported.Jan 17, 2019
This incidence seems to be an example of the charm and ambience of Minneapolis.

    1. Anonymous – I have been to Minny apple less many times and it has lots of charms, I did not realize that being beaten and robbed by Somalia gangs was one of them. 😉

          1. “I would give a miss.”

Paul, you have to expand your world and be a part of it in order to know it and be able to talk about it, at least that is what I am told from some.

            1. Allan – I boxed Golden Gloves and I have been robbed at gun point. It is like seeing a dragon, you see one, you’ve seen them all. 😉

                    1. Whoops, that’s my phone…

or my mild dyslexia….that my folks said would go away with age…

                    2. Yes, always some nonsense.

The latest one is a goodie.

“Your brother does not have a mentally illness, he has a mental anomaly.” 🤔😥😣

I say, “The longest river in the world is Da-Nile.”

      1. Mr. Schulte,
A constituency that sends Representatives like Keith Hakim Ellison and Rep. Omar to Congress may have a different view of “urban cool” and urban charm.

    2. Ideally, you’d examine data for the whole of the dense settlement, not just the core city. That often takes some assembling from data provided by state police departments – if they provide it. City-Data is quite convenient, but they provide data only for a selection of municipalities, not whole counties.

FTR, the homicide rates of major core cities are as follows:

      Minneapolis: 9.2 per 100,000
      St. Paul: 5.8 per 100,000
      Chicago: 22.8
      Detroit: 43.6
      Philadelphia: 17.7
      Washington: 18.5
      New York: 3.9
      Boston: 7.7
      Atlanta: 20.3
      Miami: 14.7
      Houston: 12.2
      Dallas: 11.1
      Denver: 8.0
      Phoenix: 8.3
      San Diego: 2.5
      Los Angeles: 7.0
      Oakland: 19.7
      San Jose: 3.1
      San Francisco: 6.3
      Seattle: 3.5
      Tacoma: 6.0

The proportion of the whole settlement and the proportion of the slum population which you’ll find within the boundaries of the core city varies greatly. The proportion of the core city which consists of slums varies greatly. Metropolitan settlements also vary greatly in the size of their suburban slum population.

        1. Because it’s a 2d tier city. Those above are the core municipalities of first tier cities with tributary areas above a certain threshold. City-Data has the numbers on Baltimore, the Virginia Tidewater, Orlando, Tampa Bay, Austin, San Antonio, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Kansas City, St. Louis, Las Vegas, Portland, Sacramento, &c. if you’re interested.

          1. “homicide rates of major core cities”

DSS, you called them core cities earlier and now you refer to Baltimore as a “2d tier city.”. I don’t have much experience in this area so perhaps you can provide some sort of definition for the terms and how they relate so I better understand. If you do that add NYC to the list so I know where it belongs. Right now I am more interested in the classification of these cities than in the numbers.

            1. The core city is the foundational municipality which gives the metropolitan settlement it’s name. Some settlements are collections of tract development which grew around multiple poles, and I list the poles. (The Bay Area is one, SeaTac is another, the Twin Cities a third). Northern New Jersey was once multi-polar with interstices of countryside as well, but I don’t bother with the poles because they constitute tiny proportions of the over-all tapestry.

In Baltimore’s case, by the ‘metropolitan settlement’, I mean the densely settled glob which splays out over Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Howard County, and Anne Arundel County. That glob of tract development has about 2 million people in it. If I used the boundary conditions the Census Bureau prefers, you’d add a few hundred thousand more (but a lot more land). Baltimore is hemmed in between Washington and Philadelphia and is smaller than both, so has a truncated tributary area. All of the cities I named above had dense settlements of at least 2.2 million and tributary areas such that the whole package has > 4 million people. Baltimore and Tampa-St. Petersburg are at the upper bound of what I’d call a 2d tier city.

              1. Is second tiered city a device you have defined or are cities defined and classified that way? You seem to include population in the definition so do you have specific boundaries in mind? How does NYC fit in. It has 5 boroughs and they have substantial differences and high populations with parts being part of Long Island and parts being islands themselves.
