King County deputy Paul Schene, 31, has been charged with fourth-degree assault in connection with a videotaped showing him beating a 15-year-old girl on Nov. 29 incident in a holding cell at SeaTac City Hall. The video below shows a shocking escalation of violence by Schene.

Lawyer Paulette Taylor, 62, has sued her neighbor Theodore Henderson in Central Park New York for half of million dollars for his two yapping Chihuahuas.
Pfizer will presumably not be sued for a death in Russia after a twenty-eight year old mechanic Sergey Tuganov guzzled a bottle of Viagra pills to participate in a 12-hour orgy with two women on a bit.
There is an interesting verdict out of Riverside, California this week. A 56-year-old woman (identified only as Patricia) was awarded $7 million and a BMW sedan for exposure to herpes but a 77-year-old man.

Irma Johnson, a Texas widow, is suing after she was mistakingly informed that the employer of her late husband Daniel Johnson was to receive $1.6 million after his death under a practice known in the industry as a “dead peasant” insurance policy. Under this common practice, employers take out life insurance on employees and write off the payments as a business expense. They then collect a windfall when one of the “peasants” die.
John Sanders, the technology reporter for WBAL-TV (NBC) in Baltimore is no longer employed by the affiliate after admitting that he inserting a racist remark into a video clip of Fox News’ John Gibson. The clip became an Internet hit and was viewed by many people as a spoof. However, some viewers believed that Gibson referred to Attorney General Eric Holder’s “bright blue scrotum.”
Brookfield, Wisconsin attorney William Rettko has filed a $50,000 calim against the Greenfield Middle School for false imprisonment and battery after giving a girl a “time out.” The lawsuit claims that the teacher allowed other students to commit battery on the girl during the time-out.
A very interesting torts case has settled in Lake Forest, Illinois where George Baldwin, 22, has been given a $2.5 million settlement after he went to a party at the house of Lauralee Pfeifer, who had two high school friends of Baldwin. Baldwin and a friend than drank beer in their girl’s bedroom. He was paralyzed when he and a drunk friend (who was driving) crashed their car. It is a very rare case of a homeowner being successfully sued by someone other than a a third party victim. He is also suing his former friend who drove the car.
In Louisville, Kentucky, Robert Datillo, 37, took his own life as police deployed tear gas after a 10-hour standoff. He was accused of wounding – 39-year-old Cpl. Dan Lawhorn and 32-year-old Officer Keith Broady.

It was bad enough when Nigel Haskett was shot at McDonald’s in Little Rock, Arkansas. The worker had rushed to helped a woman who was struck by a man and was shot three times. He was then told by Claims specialist Misty Thompson with insurance company Ramsey, Krug, Farrell and Lensing responded, that he had no right to worker’s compensation for his injuries. Hasket required three surgeries at a cost of $300,000 in medical bills and six months recovery.

Jangir Sultan, 32 has sued the city of New York after he was allegedly searched 21 times in the subway because of this Middle Eastern appearance. He is actually a New York native of Kashmiri descent.
Antoinette Basso has filed a lawsuit alleging that she alleges that she was severely injured by a failing inebriated Santa Clause. The allegedly stewed Santa was Daniel Aulwes, who Basso claims fell on her and pushing her face first into the sidewalk outside of a Chicago restaurant.

Dustin Dibble, 25, admits that he was drinking for four hours before he went to the 14th Street station and then fell into the path of a train, which cut off his right leg. However, a jury still found NYC Transit was to blame and awarded him $2.3 million.

The Iberville Parish Council in Louisiana has voted 11-1 to allow Tiger Truck Shop owner Michael Sandlin to keep Tony, a Siberian Tiger, as a roadside attraction in Grosse Tete, Louisiana. The cruel confinement of the tiger does not appear to bother the good people of Iberville.
