Fox Expert: Strip Search All Muslim Men Between The Ages of 18-28

Retired Lt. General Tom McInerney appeared on Fox News to offer his own proposal for making air travel safer: strip search all Muslim men between 18 and 28. That’s right, strip search every Muslim male at the airport.

Here is how the General explained how we need to “be very serious and harsh about the profiling:” “If you are an 18 to 28-year-old Muslim man then you should be strip searched. And if we don’t do that, there’s a very high probability we’re going to lose an airliner.”

I think that the General has the right thought but the wrong conclusion. What does every airline bomber have in common? Clothes. No clothes means by definition no shoe bombs, no underwear bombs, no explosive vests. People could appear naked at security points and be given those paper gowns used by hospitals.

Of course, Osama Bin Laden could still fly without stripping as would Richard Reid. It would delay things for such athletes as Ramzee Robinson (Cleveland Browns), Abdul Raheeda Hodge (Cincinnati Bengals), Usama Young (Saints), Husain Ibn Muhammed Abdullah (Minnesota Vikings), Kareem Brown (Jets), and others. Congressman Keith Maurice Ellison and Elias A. Zerhouni (Director of the NIH) made it over the line and can keep their clothes on.

  1. Professor,

Please ignore one of the duplicates I have in the moderation queue for this thread. I though omitting one cite would get it under the bar, but it didn’t.

I thought the limit before the moderation rule kicked was 3 links.

  2. bdabirther,

It’s called a rhetorical question, half-wit. English? Not your strong suit. See? That too was a rhetorical question.

Now come on. Tell us again how torture is good for America.

    Come on.

    You can do it.

We’ve seen you do before and it’s one of our favorite dances.

And your fixation with me personally is more and more Wayne every day. It’s kinda cute that I have a stalker. Especially an inept propaganda spewing one. I’d say every Holmes needs his Moriarity but in your case it’s more like my Holmes needs his Elmer Fudd. But you aren’t as funny as Elmer. And I don’t really need you. I’m sure if you leave some other goober will take your troll spot.

Now back to the topic of torture.

“Torture does not yield reliable information and is actually counterproductive in intelligence interrogations. This was the conclusion released by retired senior military interrogators and research psychologists during a press conference at Georgetown University.”

    from: http://explore.georgetown.edu/news/?ID=20647

“According to O’Mara, repeated high levels of stress can shrink the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex regions of the brain. Those regions control memory recall and higher level decision making. By attacking those regions of the brain, torture makes the victim more supple and less cagey, but also prevents the detainee from recalling accurate memories and picking the right information to tell interrogators”

    from: http://www.popsci.com/military-aviation-amp-space/article/2009-09/new-study-finds-torture-negatively-affects-memory

“Because torture-based interrogations are generally conducted in secret, there is no systematic research on the relationship between torture and false confessions. However, there is irrefutable evidence from the civilian criminal justice system that techniques less coercive than torture have produced verifiably false confessions in a surprising number of cases (Costanzo & Leo, 2006; Kassin & Gudjonsson, 2004). An analysis of DNA exonerations of innocent but wrongly convicted criminal suspects revealed that false confessions are the second most frequent cause of wrongful convictions, accounting for 24% of the total (cite omitted). In a recent large scale study, Drizin and Leo (2004) identified 125 proven false confessions over a 30-year period. Two characteristics of these known false confessions are notable. First, they tended to occur in the most serious cases—81% confessed to the crime of murder, and another 9% confessed to the crime of rape. Second, because only proven false confessions were included (e.g., cases where the confessor was exonerated by DNA evidence or cases where the alleged crime never occurred), the actual number of false confessions is likely to be substantially higher. Military action based on false information extracted through the use of torture has the potential to jeopardize the lives of military personnel and civilians.”

  3. Obama says terror attack not his fault. Obama said Tuesday that U.S. intelligence had enough advance information to prevent the attempted attack on a U.S. airliner on Christmas Day but failed to connect the dots. He said there were enough “red flags” that an attack was planned on the U.S. but errors were made by intelligence officials.

Of course it wasn’t his fault, he was on vacation.

  4. Mr. Gibbs said dozens of Guantanamo Bay detainees once believed to be bound for Yemen will instead be sent to a prison in Thomson, Ill., once the all-but-empty prison is purchased and refurbished by the federal government.

“Any additional transfers to Yemen would not be a good idea,” Mr. Gibbs said.

YA THINK!!!!! of course the hard sell will be getting approval for the purchase of the prison.

  5. I’ve been working on them since I was eight. As in building them. Over 30 years of hands on?

30 plus eight makes you at least 38, but why the question mark? I thought you was a expert, Mr Expert. You questionen yourself or asking one.

  6. Well it’s a good thing I don’t care about what you want to talk about, isn’t it?

AWWWW, I was just gettin ready to ask you about bein a legal expert. Mr Expert.

Come on Mr. Expert, tell us bout your experteeses, you already know everything bout me and people like me. Here’s your chance to toot your own horn.

    AY,

I’m not exactly sure what a word roach is, but do you need hemostats for it?

If you mean persistent insect survivors that are hard to kill and have survived every mass extinction since the Carboniferous, then thanks.

    ***************************

Of course. That is what I meant. Roaches have survived from the beginning of time. You and I and a number of others will as we can keep perspective and not go over the edge….

  8. Mike S.,

I was peeved at the lack of apology to you but presumed that you handled yourself well in the past I was not going to enter into a debate. However, when a friend of mine got blasted, I took exception. I am unsure of her verbal argument skills.

    Buddha,

Good show. You, Mike, Myself nor will anyone get the satisfaction of a real meaningful apology. This is sad as some of the information conveyed was good. However, when the hyperbole started about Obama this and that, I quit reading.

After the attacks I went back and read as many posts that I could and realized that what is complained of is usually something inside of you that is unresolved within yourself. I then reread the posts and watched what I thought were the key words and realized that she was as guilty as Obama, Bush and Cheney as she wanted no personal accountability. Everyone else had to do what she wanted or she would take her toys and go home.

Swartzmore mom did not do anything to Jill, not did Jill ever apologize for her direct attacks on her.

If Jill thinks that I personally attacked her, I guess I did in asking her to quit the Personal Attacks. For that I am guilty.

I have never considered that I was a sexists. I have never been called one. My mother was a very strong individual in my life. I did learn from her to treat all with the same respect, even if they did not deserve it.

I have been called a racist before. But race really has nothing to do with it. It is people based, whether white, black, Asian, Indian, Jew. When I was growing up, we had white and black people that were employed by the family. My most favorite memory was the sisters Timothy and LuElla. For them I have very fond memories.

Then last evening I get blasted by LK for being the cyber police. Well that post can remain as I cleared my side of the street.

    That is all.

FYI, I have been called a bulldog in the Courtroom and somethings never change. I have nearly gotten hit by an witness testifying. The issue was the nature of her peacefulness. I guess she proved me right as she was the initial aggressor.

  9. AY,

I’m not exactly sure what a word roach is, but do you need hemostats for it?

If you mean persistent insect survivors that are hard to kill and have survived every mass extinction since the Carboniferous, then thanks.

If you mean vermin that annoy cake eaters, also thank you.

If you mean the fish related to carp, eh, I’m not really sure where you were going with that . . .

  10. empirecookie,

I stated yesterday that you and Buddha were “word roaches” and I got blasted because of timing.

Take that trip back to the washroom. Your utter simplicity with words convey a tremendous amount of information. I have a tendency to hyperbole. Yes, I can be guilty.

The exact words I used I believe are the “word roaches fly free.” Somehow or another it got attributed to being aimed at someone else.

Oh well. You saw the hell that broke loose.

  11. An unlawful combatant has no rights. Treat them like the scum they are. I don’t care is you slowly rip them apart.

War is hell. Keep it that way and fewer people will engage in war. The Geneva Convention is a treaty between States. The Geneva Convention does not provide protection for unlawful combatants.

  12. Well it’s a good thing I don’t care about what you want to talk about, isn’t it?

  13. No I want to talk about bein an expert, Mr Expert.

So you got paid fur tutorin astro-no-money, dat it Mr Sunspot. I assume cuz you was gettin paid you was an expert. Got a degree Mr. Expert or were you self taught by one of those computers you built.

  14. No. bdadim. I was an astronomy tutor. You know (nah, probably not) that job students who are good at a subject take to earn money in college.

And I’m an expert on computers because I’ve been working on them since I was eight. As in building them. Over 30 years of hands on? Well, you get the picture. Or maybe not. You don’t seem to be good at anything from what you’ve demonstrated here.

Your jealousy over your lack of innate intelligence is most unbecoming. But being jealous based on your inadequacy is probably the defining drive of your malformed character.

But enough about me . . . I know, I know, I’m your favorite topic next to trollery, but let’s get down to brass tacks.

Aren’t you going to tell us how torture is good for the U.S. again?

Because the topic is endorsing torture.

    You know.

That think YOU do that helps the enemy recruit more terrorist.

  15. You going to threaten to kick my ass? Come on. Connect that dot.

Oh no I would never do that Mr. Do jo, you can kill a man with two fingers. I’m shakin in my boots.

Computers huh, guess thats a purdy good field to be in. How’d you go from being an expert in the lawyerin field to be an expert in the computer field. Weren’t you one of them dare teachers in da field of science, that how you became an expert in sunspots Mr Sunspot.

  16. Awww, did I ruin your fun again, dancing monkey?

“you run the family construction business”?

No. I never said that. I said I grew up around it. My grandfather and father ran that business. I just worked for them in the summer’s as a kid.

What I do now is none of your business and irrelevant. It involves computers.

The rest of it is accurate though. Surprisingly so considering you typed it. That you don’t know the exact details would be your problem.

You on the other hand are just a semi-educated tool for those who would cut your throat if it made them a dime and are interested in destroying this country from within. This is a fact demonstrated by you postings here.

    Any more questions? Rhetorical.

And you miss a lot. Like the pattern you are making right now. What’s next? You going to threaten to kick my ass? Come on. Connect that dot.

It is simply easier to destroy than create. Fact. That I used an illustration you some how seem to be fearful of is your problem too. Fear is a reaction. Your reaction. Marcus Aurelius said about fear, “If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment.”

    He was a wise man.

  17. What exactly do you do Mr Do Jo. expert.

Lets see, you an expert in Sun Spots, you say you had legal training, you run the family construction business, you were in telecom business, you run around the Do Jo where you learned how to kill with two fingers. Damn, you don’t even have to register the whole hand as a lethal weapon, you just have to do two fingers.

    What i miss?

  18. badtroll,

That you took an illustrative example provided as contrast the ease of destruction versus the difficulty of creation and tried to conflate it into something it wasn’t is really, really funny.

Not fear me? You fear all the like minded defenders of the Constitution that post here. Not just me. I can smell it from here. And it has nothing to do with my training except maybe my legal training. It has to do with you are an evil puppet working for the enemy of said Constitution and we point it out at every opportunity, bdabigot.

  19. Tootie,

Because people who are boarding a plane to commit mass murder aren’t willing to lie, or go to another country before boarding the target plane?

    Makes sense to me.
