The White House is not the only outfit struggling to explain the false statements repeatedly made by President Joe Biden about Georgia’s election law. Biden’s false claims have been widely refuted, including by the Washington Post. Yet, CNN’s host Don Lemon mocked those raising the false statements and insisted that Biden merely misspoke. The problem is that he repeated the false claims after they were refuted and White House Press Secretary Jan Psaki has insisted that Biden was speaking truthfully in the Biden version of “alternative facts.” What was also not explained on CNN was how the Georgia law is “Jim Crow on steroids” if these two objections are untrue and states like New York and Delaware (and Colorado where the MLB is sending the All-Star game) have stricter provisions. CNN ran the slogan “Facts First” throughout the Trump Administration, but it seems that facts are more fluid in 2021.
Lemon lashed out at critics of Biden as “incredibly dishonest and openly partisan” for his statements on the election law. Lemon mocked those raising the issue:
“Get this, Republicans have a new talking point, trying to turn Trump’s big lie onto Joe Biden, saying Joe Biden is lying about what’s in Georgia’s new voting law that restricts ballot access. New GOP talking point: Trying to turn Trump’s ‘Big Lie’ on to Biden for misspeaking about Georgia’s voting law.”
The problem is that Biden and the White House have continued to assert the statements as true.
During an interview on ESPN, Biden repeated his claim that the law is “Jim Crow on steroids” and added: “Imagine passing a law saying you cannot provide water or food for someone standing in line to vote, can’t do that? C’mon! Or you’re going to close a polling place at 5 o’clock when working people just get off?”
As we previously discussed, it is hard to “imagine” because it is not true and the White House knows that it is not true. I will not repeat the clearly false claim about closing polling places early. As the Washington Post noted, “the net effect [of the Georgia law] is … to expand the opportunities to vote for most Georgians, not limit them.”
Even CNN eventually called out the claims as untrue. CNN’s fact-checker Daniel Dale noted that Biden’s statement “is misleading for two reasons. First, the new law does not change Georgia’s Election Day voting hours, which still end at 7 p.m. Second, while the law does set a default end time of 5 p.m. for early voting on weekdays and on Saturdays, counties were already allowed to end early voting at 5 p.m. under the previous law. The new law gives counties the option to offer early voting as late as 7 p.m. if they want to.”
Biden and the White House have also pushed the claim that Georgia will not let voters receive water at polling places, which is demonstrably untrue. The law does not prevent people from giving water to those standing in line. The law allows “self-service water from an unattended receptacle” for voters waiting in line. It also allows anyone to give water or food to any voters outside of limited area around the polling place. The change in the language followed complaints in the last elections that campaigns were circumventing the rules by distributing water and food within the limited area. It makes no sense to bar people from politicking in the area if they can display the same political identifications in approaching people in line for the purpose of giving away free food or drink. Instead, it allows for non-partisan distribution of water in these receptacles. If the concern is truly for the waiting voters, it should not matter that the water is distributed without a political affiliation. States like New York ban any water or item worth more than a dollar. Period.
It is hard to maintain that Biden misspoke repeatedly when his Press Secretary is still trying to claim that he spoke truthfully. The first evidence that Biden misspoke could be Biden correcting his statements and saying that the Georgia law actually expands the guaranteed hours for voting and that voters can be given water while standing in line from non-political self-service bins.
Moreover, the claims on the hours and water were the primary reasons cited for claiming that the law was worse than the Jim Crow laws — laws that mandated racial segregation. The law does mandate voter identification but so do many “blue” states like Colorado. New polling shows that, even after this campaign, Americans continue to overwhelmingly support such mandatory identification rules with almost 75 percent in favor of such rules. Indeed, over 50 percent of Democrats support such voter identification rules. Some polling shows 63 percent of Democrats supporting such mandatory rules.
So if Biden misspoke about the hour and water changes, what in the law is worst than Jim Crow? If it is the voter identification, then blue states like Colorado are equally guilty as are most Democrats who support such provisions.
These issues have been rallying cries for seeking the unprecedented federalization of elections, including a preemption of state voter identification rules. The campaign was successful in prompting companies like Delta and United Airlines (which require photo identification to fly) to condemn the law as well as the MLB (which requires photo identification to enter the game).
There are legitimate issues to debate on these election laws. Let’s debate them but, as CNN once said, “Facts First.”
ur assertion correct or is it a testimoni
LIFE CHANGING OPPORTUNITY BE an Internet HOME-BASED real Earner.I am just working on facebook only 3 to 4 hours a Day and earning $47786 a month easily, that is handsome earning to meet my extra expenses and that is really life changing opportunity. Let me give you a little insight into what I do….. http://sawagtip.cf
WOW!
Defense Attorney Eric Nelson managed to turn the state’s expert witnesses into defense witnesses during trial today.
The cross of Lt. Mercil was so effective that Andrew Branca live blogging the trial said that with this cross by Nelson the state is going to need a pregnancy test.
Lt. Mercil trains officers in restraint procedures and after viewing different angles of Chauvin’s restraint of Floyd he said Chauvin’s knee was NOT on Floyd’s neck!
The state is left with no explanation for Floyd’s death other than death due to his preexisting and significant medical problems and/or his massive load of drugs in combinations known to be particularly lethal.
Lt. Mercil agreed that an officer may have to delay attempts to revive a person under arrest depending on the circumstances which can include being near a crowd that is growing increasingly agitated. In fact, as I and others have noted here before, some scenes clearly show the officers concerned about the growing emotional intensity in the crowd.
Cuffs and restraints on an unconscious person can reasonably be continued because when people revive they can be combative.
Unless the state can come up with something else, the judge could legitimately grant a motion to dismiss for failure to present a prima facie case. Of course, one might think that his legal judgment could be clouded by open threats to destroy cities if Chauvin isn’t convicted. Actually being innocent or guilty doesn’t count for much in this situation.
Nelson got an earlier state’s witness, Yang, to agree that normal and legal police arrest and restraint procedures can look ugly but still be proper.
Several days in the state still has no unequivocal cause of death and it appears the state has no case.
Chauvin has a great lawyer.
Regardless of Chauvin’s guilt or innocence, if he is acquitted this country is gonna go berserk.
@benjamin michael marcus
And that is why Chauvin needs to be convicted, right? Think of the fight against systematic racism and promotion of social justice.
antonio
No Chauvin should be convicted if he’s guilty, I just remember the Rodney King riots but they’ll be nationwide if Chauvin gets off.
George Floyd shouldn’t have been on drugs and he shouldn’t have resisted arrest but he also should not have died.
It’s a mess either way.
“George Floyd shouldn’t have been on drugs and he shouldn’t have resisted arrest but he also should not have died.”
***
Why shouldn’t he have died? He took the drugs. He had levels equivalent to those of people who take them to commit suicide.
Not in the moral sense, but purely in the medical sense, Floyd should have died just as he should have died if he shot himself in the head or put rocks in his pockets and jumped into the lake. He chose acts that lead to death.
It would take supernatural intervention to keep that guy from killing himself sooner or later. It was an “If you do A you will die.” and Floyd did ‘A’ [and also B, C, and D] so Floyd died. Made a hell of a mess of it though.
Well killing your ownself is a lot different than having some cop kneel on your neck until you are dead.
@ BM– “Well killing your ownself is a lot different than having some cop kneel on your neck until you are dead.”
Cute but uniformed observation.
Today photos were shown to the prosecution expert who taught restraint [among other things] to police officers.
The prosecution expert agreed that Chauvin’s knee was NOT on Floyd’s neck but on his back in a normal restraint technique that can be maintained for a fairly long time. He has used the same technique himself. The state’s case was torpedoed by their own expert. They can point to no act of Chauvin’s that caused the death of the drug addict and criminal he was arresting. Chauvin’s knee was not on Floyd’s neck.
You would know that if you had read my original note above or if you had watched the trial or read a transcript. If someone is feeding you talking points they aren’t up to date.
@benjamin michael marcus
Maybe this country will learn not to put up with rioters. Maybe we will learn not to treat them as pampered little pets who can do no wrong.
Chauvin should be acquitted.
The country needs to take care of itself.
But I think a hung jury is more likely. All we need is one courageous and honest person on the jury.
Sure send the rioters to prison: Both sides.
The BLM and Antifa rioters in Portland and the deplorables raiding the Capitol.
Equal idiocy on both sides.
America has never been as influenced by stupid people as it is now.
The proles have over-populated.
The proles are in control.
“The Big Lie” meme is the dead giveaway that they know damn well the election was stolen.
If you know you’re innocent of that which you are accused you don’t invent a talking point meme as a feeble attempt at deflection.
To the contrary, if you are innocent, you address the submitted evidence of fraud and then present well documented evidence that refutes the that evidence.
But the fraudsters know that they are guilty so they invent pedestrian sayings that only serve to prove their guilt.
Yeah sure the election was stolen. Would you like to buy the Golden Gate Bridge? I can get you a deal on it.
No American should be that gullible and/or dumb: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8v0TXRTu4E
Hey Benny, tell us your thoughts on Russia stealing the 2016 for Trump.
Well Russian wasn’t entirely responsible for Trump’s win in 2016. The truth is, people didn’t like Hillary and they thought Trump was the lesser of two evils. So they elected a charlatan and a f@#$up to be president with the expected result.
But there is no doubt Russia had a hand in influencing the opinion of Americans as much as they could, because they knew Trump was a Golden Showering patsy with heaps of kompromat behind him.
Didn’t you read the Senate Intelligence Committee Report?
MArk Warner did, and he wasn’t too pleased: ““After more than three and a half years of work, millions of documents, and hundreds of witness interviews, I’m proud that the Committee’s report speaks for itself.
“At nearly 1,000 pages, 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐞 𝟓 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟔 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 – 𝐚 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. I encourage all Americans to carefully review the documented evidence of the unprecedented and massive intervention campaign waged on behalf of then-candidate Donald Trump by Russians and their operatives and to reach their own independent conclusions.
“This cannot happen again. As we head into the heat of the 2020 campaign season, I strongly urge campaigns, the executive branch, Congress and the American people to heed the lessons of this report in order to protect our democracy.”
Doesn’t matter now. Trump was a stress-test for Democracy, and Democracy won.
Too bad 500,000+ Americans had to die and the economy had to lose tens of trillions to flush that guy out of office, but America will be the better for it.
Republicans screw it up. Democrats clean it up.
Biden and Team are fixing it as we speak.
So relax.
Time to head upstairs Benny. Mom’s got dinner ready..
Actually I just rode the EBike to Ralphs and passed houses belonging to the owners of the Detroit Pistons, one of the founders of Google, the guy who founded Public Storage whose horse won the Kentucky Derby, past the home of Rob Reiner and several other Oscar winners and several anonymous gazillionaires.
Saw Keanu Reeves walking through the parking lot, wearing leathers and a motorcycle helmet.
Got some mixed Hawaiian/spicy poke and jalapeno/cheese rolls now Im sitting on the balcony of a house that rents for $25,000 a month, waiting to see if the wind comes up.
Either gonna go surf or ride bikes up Solstice Canyon.
La dolce vita.
Now go visit the Fashion District in LA. You can share a cardboard box with one of the other bums.
I rarely leave Malibu. The rest of the world sucks compared to this place, and I have seen the rest of the world.
Did you hear Caitlyn Jenner is running for CA governor to oust Newsom? Good times.
I see Caitlyn Jenner at the Trancas Starbucks some times. It’s weird.
What’s the comparison?
It’s as if Tom Brady becomes a chick, 20 years from now.
It’s weird but he/she seems nice enough.
Bruce Jenner, a chick.
Weird.
She could be your next governor. Cool, eh?
Caitlyn Jenner isn’t running for Governor and if he/she does, he/she won’t win.
Too weird, even for California.
Benjamin – how’s the fire damage in Malibu? It’s been a while since I’ve been down there, but I was absolutely shocked at the damage.
Hiking areas in Malibu are beautiful, but there are some weird people on the trails, so be careful. I used to ride my horse out on the trails in Malibu, long ago. I came across men who were hiking naked, multiple times, a guy who was pleasuring himself, people doing drugs, as well as crazy homeless people camping in the bush. You cover ground a lot faster on a horse, and can come across people unaware. And boy, did that ever lead to some surprises.
Malibu is beautiful, but it’s expensive, homeowners block beach access, and there’s a lot more snobbery in that town than in some other parts of the coast. The last few times I was there, it definitely was not as laid back as it used to be. And the gridlock on PCH is atrocious. Most of the down to earth, laid back people have been priced right out of that neighborhood. I was told the parking alone at Paradise Cove is atrocious now.
I heard some of the great restaurants in Malibu have permanently closed due to Covid, which is a shame. I used to hang out at Neptune’s Net after my laughable attempts at surfing when I used to live down that way. I wonder if it’s still hanging on.
“Yeah sure the election was stolen.”
Ben, once you graduate from middle school come back and try again.
And the only “deal” you are capable of getting anyone is a seat on the short bus next to you.
Was it PT Barnum or WC Fields who said “There’s a sucker born every minute.”
You confirm that anyway, regardless of who said it.
There’s no excuse for any American to be that gullible and/or stupid.
You are right Benjamin,
No American should be that gullible and/or dumb.
But, like most leftists the adage applies, “do as I say, not what I do.”
I’m neither a leftist nor a rightist.
I’m a “hoverist.”
There is a whole layer of American society who are too smart to get sucked into the whole left/right thing, which Marx would identify as an “opiate for the asses.”
The “hoverists” hover above it all, feeling glad they are’nt that stupid, watching dumbass proles on both sides fight over things they don’t understand.
And throw peanuts at them.
This country has never been dumber, although maybe it’s social media that exposes the stupidity.
The “hoverists” who appear to think they are above it all have to pay high taxes, deal with homelessness and crime, and watch jobs draining out of CA just like everyone else.
I will say, however, that Malibu does make more of an effort not to cede the beach to homeless camps like Venice and pretty much the rest of LA county have done.
Ben, when public records and millions of TV screens show cumulative votes decrease most rational people refer to that as election fraud.
https://youtu.be/e2mH9X4jQT8
Show evidence of decreasing election results.
This is all phony BS up there with anti-vaxxers, George Soros, Chemtrails, Deep State, Agenda 21 and all the other conspiracy theory nonsense to keep the nitwit proles up in arms.
The video shows and discusses decreases and such behavior has been widely reported by MSM.
Well if the left cheated at that scale – which I doubt – good for them.
They learned tactics from the Right and wrested America out of the hands of an incompetent, vulgar, pussy-grabbing, wife-cheating, stripper-shtupping, tax-evading, draft-dodging, student-defrauding, charity-stealing obese blowhard and placed it back in capable, competent hands.
Republicans screw it up. Democrats clean it up.
Obama came in to clean up the massive mess left behind by Bush43.
He put out multiple fires very quickly and set the table.
Only for Trump to come in and shit all over the table.
Trump made a bigger mess than Bush43 – if that was possible – and now Biden and Team are cleaning that up.
There was no election fraud. Those accusations all go on the same shelf as “George Soros” and “Deep State” and “Chemtrails” and all the other half-witted conspiracy theories spouted by the proles.
Biden is going to Make America Great Again.
Yay.
There is no excuse for claiming that the Georgia election law is “Jim Crow on steroids.” None.
There is no excuse for claiming that the law reduces voting hours. None.
There is no excuse for claiming that this law prevents voters from obtaining water. None. It prevents electioneering of voters in line. Anyone can drop off water for voters to get themselves, or to be handed out by poll workers.
There is no excuse for claiming that the law is racist. None.
There is no excuse for making any public claims about this, or any other law, without first reading the full text. None.
There is no excuse for claiming voter ID reduces minority turnout when minority turnout actually increased with these laws.
Here is the text on Voter ID for absentee ballots:
“(C)(i) Any person applying for an absentee-by-mail ballot shall make application in writing on the form made available by the Secretary of State. In order to confirm the identity of the voter, such form shall require the elector to provide his or her name, date of birth, address as registered, address where the elector wishes the ballot to be mailed, and the number of his or her Georgia driver’s license or identification card issued pursuant to Article 5 of Chapter 5 of Title 40. If such elector does not have a Georgia driver’s license or identification card issued pursuant to Article 5 of Chapter 5 of Title 40, the elector shall affirm this fact in the manner prescribed in the application and the elector shall provide a copy of a form of identification listed in subsection (c) of Code Section 21-2-417. The form made available by the Secretary of State shall include a space to affix a photocopy or electronic image of such identification. The Secretary of State shall develop a method to allow secure electronic transmission of such form.”
“(4) If the registrar or clerk is unable to determine the identity of the elector from information given on the application or if the application is not complete or if the oath on the application is not signed, the registrar or clerk should promptly write contact the elector in writing to request the necessary additional information and a signed copy of the oath.”
“If the elector does not have a Georgia driver’s license or state identification card issued pursuant to Article 5 of
1462 Chapter 5 of Title 40, the elector shall so affirm in the space provided on the outer oath
1463 envelope and print the last four digits of his or her social security number in the space
1464 provided on the outer oath envelope. If the elector does not have a Georgia driver’s license,
1465 identification card issued pursuant to Article 5 of Chapter 5 of Title 40, or a social security
1466 number, the elector shall so affirm in the space provided on the outer oath envelope and
1467 place a copy of one of the forms of identification set forth in subsection (c) of Code
1468 Section 21-2-417 in the outer envelope.”

@Karen S
You cannot reason with these people and don’t even try. I prefer to point out and mock their hypocrisy. Not trying to convince any s@@tlib.
antonio
I think it was Dennis Prager who said something along the lines of you can’t convince a Leftist. You can only convince a moderate, a true Liberal, or someone on the fence. But the true believers are beyond reach.
@karen s
And Dennis Prager is right on point. Also has a good article on “who hates who more – left or right?” That’s an easy one. We think they are naive and mistaken, they think we are evil.
antonio
Honey, you are the biggest example of a disciple who is immune to facts that I’ve had yet to see. You are a true Fox Disciple, a believer in any lie they tell you, and you even fight against contrary facts.
She’s a waste of time, as are half of America.
The derogatory version of “Karen” might have been coined in her honor.
A lot of people are just eat up with the dumbass.
As usual, you don’t know what you’re talking about. Colorado’s laws are much more voter-friendly than Georgia’s, but the biggest reason is that Georgia’s laws were enacted because of the Big Lie. Doing away with Sunday voting is intended to directly target black churches that provided transportation to people without cars after church services: “souls to the polls”. The longest lines to vote because of an insufficient number of polling places are mostly in black areas. Making it a crime to provide a snack or beverage to someone required to wait several hours in line is designed for no purpose other than to deter voting. It is not “electioneering”, other than on Fox News. Colorado is less restrictive on mail ballots, too and allows election-day registration to vote. Georgia limited the period of registration. The biggest change would have allowed Karen’s fat hero to get state officials to invalidate Democrat votes and award the election to him like he tried to so, because it takes away local control and allows the Republican legislature to put in their own people with the discretion to do whatever they want. Of course, the only ballots they would have problems with would be those in black areas and Democratic votes, not Republican votes or votes from the white suburbs. Making it harder for people of color to vote and to make their votes count. IS racist. If you got your information anyplace other than Fox News, OAN, News Max and Breitbart, you would know this.
Go to the source. The entire group painting themselves as Democrats are Socialists. Two opposites. When the story is consistently re-frame and redefine even those who coined the phrase If it serves to advance the party it IS The Party’s truth to the point that party members are confused it’s a two things or all three. Facts only get in the way of dialectical materialism when the subject is taught. As Lenin put it it has to be preached. Something neither Biden nor Lemon have evidenced any skills. Think about it. If Lenin were alive would he have allowed a Biden or a Lemon to exhibit the skills needed for April 1st to be used to demonstrate two fools?
What a crock of pseudo intellectual bs.
Dialectical materialism?
How is it that California which is by far the most Democratic/socialist/ Marxist/leninist/libtard State of the Union is also the most progressive the most productive and the most prosperous?
How do you explain that?
Governor DeSantis has it right when it comes to these liars
The Federalist:
“ They cut out everything that showed that their narrative was a piece of horse manure,” DeSantis said in a press conference on Tuesday. “These are smear merchants. That’s why nobody trusts corporate media. They are a disaster in what they’re doing.”
Fed up with months of false or negative coverage of his state, DeSantis called out the leftist media for their lies.
“They knew what they were doing was a lie. I knew what they were doing was a lie. Everybody here knows what they were doing, is a lie. They know that we know they’re lying and yet they continue to lie, and they lied and they lied and they lied,” he said.
“There’s gonna be consequences for that,” DeSantis warned, noting that the story was “total crock.”
“I know corporate media thinks that they can just run over people. You ain’t running over this governor. I’m punching back, and I’m going to continue to do it until the smear merchants are held accountable,” he said.
So the Democrats/leftists are learning to use tactics and how to lie?
Good.
They wrote the book. Saul Alinsky for one.
Bullocks. Trump told more lies on purpose in a week than Biden and the Democrats have done in a lifetime.

Hoover dam
Your argument doesn’t hold water.
Hahahahahahahah!
Get it?!?!?!?
You don’t get it. Sad.
Water is part of California’s success but it remains a state shaped by Democrats, especially in the 21st Century.
Michael – define socialism. for the rich.
Let’s face it: the reaction is designed not to punish GA as much as it is intended to be a warning shot across the bow of every other state considering similar legislation.
Good. As it should be a warning.
You can hardly call MLB “Marxist” but they agreed and jumped right in.
I doubt that is the case but rather a national reaction to an election that at the very least was questionable. At the present time both red and blue states (47 in total) have 361 bills in progress that address problems with absentee voting, voter ID, voter registration and voter roll integrity.
https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/research-reports/voting-laws-roundup-march-2021
The only thing questionable about the 2020 election is questioning the intelligence of anyone who disputes a result like this: “Biden won 81,283,098 votes, or 51.3 percent of the votes cast. He is the first U.S. presidential candidate to have won more than 80 million votes. Trump won 74,222,958 votes, or 46.8 percent of the votes cast.”
Biden smoked Trump as bad as Baylor smoked Gonzaga.
Trump was voted out by an American electorate who gave him a shot.
He had four years to prove he was a leader and showed he was just an old, fat charlatan who couldn’t con his way out of a pandemic.
You’re questionable. The election wasn’t.
Ain’t no way Joe Biden got the most votes ever in the history of presidential elections in this country. The only Biden who “smoked” anything was Hunter Biden crawling around on the carpet scrounging for crack and smoking Parmesan Cheese.
It’s in his book. Good times.
https://nypost.com/2021/04/04/hunter-biden-says-he-used-to-look-for-crack-in-carpets/
MLB agreed and acted right away.
Are you accusing Major League Baseball of being Socialist?
You people don’t have a clue.
If a CNN reporter says you misspoke and you repeat the same line, is that a misspeak too? If Biden keeps misspeaking, he may not have a state to go to because he will wreck their economy. Already cost them an All Star Game.
Georgia cost itself an all star game.
Is Major League Baseball now Socialist/Marxist/libtard and all those other words the right uses?
Is there anything more American than Major League Baseball.
They agreed, quickly and decisively.
If America ever breaks out in a Civil War, it will start in Georgia.
That truly is a nation divided.
@benjamin michael marcus
You have truly spoken when you said “that truly is a nation divided”. And unfortunately, no one is going to be able to fix it from either party. But I suspect the left is more than willing to use more draconian methods in an attempt to do so.
If people such as me (whom you clearly detest), are as bad as you believe, you should be glad to be rid of us.
What do you think happens to someone when someone is destroyed due to deplatforming, doxxing, censorship, loss of job/income? Do you think they just go away? Do you think they see the error or their ways and apologize? It wouldn’t matter if they did. Repentance is not possible with the “woke” crowd.
I want a divorce and prefer it be amicable. Have a feeling you won’t agree.
antonio
Who exactly agreed, made this decision and based exactly on what?
Not a one CEO of the corporations who joined the bandwagon or the head of MLB specifically cited the instances of Jim Crow-ism that the president has tarnished the state of Georgia with.
Benny MM at 2:27, Georgia lost an all star game. Let’s see, weigh an all star game against creating a law that would assure a fair election. So in response MLB takes the all star game to a state that has the same laws that Georgia enacted. You know the part about a valid ID required to vote in both Georgia and Colorado. Benny MM reads the first line in an article and jumps in to display his wisdom. Another comment from the mighty all unknowing.
The irony is that during the Jim Crow Era, Georgia voted 100% Democratic!
@roger osborne
I appreciate what you are saying and yes, it is factually true. But this sort of talk reminds me of Dinesh D’Souza and National Review type conservatives who love to say “Democrats are the real racists”. It gets you no brownie points with leftists; they still hate you (and me) and consider you a “nazi”.
We need to move beyond traditional definitions of left and right since neither possesses their original meaning. Are you a globalist or nationalist is the more pertinent question.
antonio
There is no getting “brownie points” from the left, no matter what the right does. Any disagreement from their policies and you are a racist.
Mainstream conservatives need to realize that they will not be allowed to make a separate peace with the left.
Decent, traditional liberals (i.e Daniel Patrick Moynihan) need to realize the left “left” them long ago.
Again, the traditional designations of liberal and conservative mean little now.
antonio
Southern Democrats are very different from northern Democrats.
And Democrats during the Jim Crow era are very different from Democrats now.
Just as Abe Lincoln was a Republican but would be a Democrat now.
I could care less about the mainstream “left” and “right”. Liberals of 25 years ago would fail today’s “wokeness” test and mainstream “conservatives” conserve nothing.
antonio
Antonio at 2:31. Would you consider it racist if Republicans said that ID should not be required and displayed a driver’s license with a picture of a black women and said that it was too hard to find the number on the license. Would you say it is racist if a Republican President at the signing of a very important piece of legislation said that this will keep them N——-s voting for us for the next two hundred years. Would you say it is racist if a Republican said that Black people were not smart enough to score well on the SAT test. Would you say a Republican Senator was a racist if he wore a white hood and resisted the segregation of a high school. Do you think that a Black man would ever call himself Corn Pop or do you think a white man would have made up such a name. Would you call it Racist if a Republican called a Black man Corn Pop. Would you say it is racist if the Republican Party still held such men in high esteem. I made a mistake. The party affiliation of the men who made these statements and did these things was not Republican. Racism is as racism does. Hopefully LBJ’s declaration about black voters will last far less than two hundred years and black voters will someday realize that it is only about the power and the racist are just using them to continue their possession of their power. Antonio, history combined with the occurrences of the present can be a such troublesome things.
Would you consider it racist if the Democrats elected a half-black President and an Asian/black vice president?
Would the Republicans ever attempt to do anything like that?
Nope.
The word “racist” means EVERYTHING and means NOTHING at the same time. Not meant to enlighten or inform but used as a shut up word by the left to silence anyone who disagrees. The word has lost much of its meaning, that is why “white supremacist” is now the leftist word of choice to slur their opponents. And once one is called such, there is no redemption or repentance possible.
Leftists will call me “racist” (or some other slur) no matter what I say, do or think.
One thing leftists should realize is that Asians, Hispanics (of which I am one) or other groups could care less what slur you use. It doesn’t have the same effect. I owe BLACKS nothing and feel no guilt over their plight. I didn’t cause, nor did today’s Anglos cause their intractable problems. And Anglos owe me nothing…
antonio
Can you be Hispanic/Latino and be racist?
And no the Anglos owe you nothing although maybe you owe the Anglos something for creating a country and a sytem of justice and prosperity that you could escape to and live a decent life?
@benjamin michael marcus
Well according the “wokespeak”. No, I cannot be racist since I am a member of a recognized “victim” group. And while not possessing as many intersectionality points as blacks, I have more than YOU. And secondly, America is inherently racist, sexist, homophobic and generally evil.
I don’t personally believe either are true but I am just quoting “wokespeak”. And if you keep saying that America has created a system of justice and prosperity (along with referring to Latin America as “screwed up”) you are going to lose your “good white” card.
Funny, possessing a “good white” card don’t seem to help when encountering a dindu up close and personally. Maybe you should go to a “vibrant area” and see if the card wards off violence.
Would you consider it racist if the Democrats elected a half-black President and an Asian/black vice president? Would the Republicans ever attempt to do anything like that?
Electing someone based on race? Hmmm, that’s a tough one. Yeah, seems racist to me. You’re right, Republicans wouldn’t do that.
No Republicans would never elect a half-black president or an Asian/black vice president because Republicans are the White Party.
Not even Democrats wanted Special K. No one elected her to be president.
So hang in there Joe. Kammy gonna blow it (she good at that) if you bail out now.
Classy.
Do you talk to Child Protective Services and your bankruptcy attorney with that mouth?
Better get on home and do all those dirty dishes in the kitchen sink so your wives and kids will have a place to shit.
What’s wrong with living in a double-wide? Are you some kind of classist elitist snob?
Actually here in Malibu I know people who live in double-wides worth millions of dollars.
Pam Anderson – believe it or not – lives in a double-wide in Paradise Cove, unless she sold it but I don’t think she did.
Jimmy Buffett has a double-wide in Ditch Plains on Long Island.
Pam and JB have double-wides? See? Double-wides deserve respect, not ridicule. Please check your elitist snobery. It’s unattractive.
Pam had one in Paradise Cove. Right there at the top where you turn right. Slightly higher fence than the rest.
Her kids were surfers and Paradise Cove is a good place to live if your kids are surfers.
She’s a peach by the way. A very nice person and much much smarter than she lets on.
Let’s see if I can find JB’s trailer at Ditch:
Montauk Shores: https://nypost.com/2017/07/26/this-hamptons-trailer-park-is-a-billionaire-hotspot/
“Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to F things up.”
“And you know who really doesn’t have ‘it’? Joe Biden.”
~Barack Obama
Well Biden apparently had enough of “it” to win a record number of votes and give Trump a proper licking.
And if that gives Biden something to prove in his presidency, that’s great.
He’ll work hard, and do it right.
So far, so good.
Biden is going to Make America Great Again, and do more than wear a stupid red hat.
“Well Biden apparently had enough of “it” to win a record number of votes…”
No, he did not. Sorry.
Yes. he did, fair and square.
America gave Trump a chance and he completely screwed it up so America voted Trump out with great vengeance and furious anger.
For his astonishing lack of leadership in the face of a crisis.
What if Lincoln had lost the Civil War or FDR/Hoover had lost World War II?
That was the extent of Trumps failure, so he was voted out in record numbers – as he deserved.
“He’ll work hard, and do it right.”
Uh, no he won’t. Joe Biden has been a professional politician his entire career. The only “real job” he’s ever had before that was a “lifeguard” where he dealt with “Corn Pop.”
The dude has NO idea what it means to “work hard.”
Though Joe *does* know all about CORRUPTION and CASHING IN on bribes. He knows how to do that very well. Ask Hunter. Ask his bro Jimmy. Ask daughter Ashely’s husband. They are all filty f’n rich BECAUSE of Joe’s political office. It’s sick.
“Yes. he did, fair and square.”
Sorry again, but, no.
You don’t want to believe it, but it’s true, sorry.
Trump was a fluke who won only because America didn’t like or trust Hillary.
They thought he was the lesser of two evils but there’s no way Hillary would have screwed it up as much as Trump.
He didn’t have a clue what he was doing and was in WAAAAAAAY over his head.
Which is why half a million Americans have died, the economy has lost untold trillions and tens of millions of Americans are on unemployment.
Trump is a complete screwup and so record numbers of people showed their concern by voting him out in overwhelming numbers.
Yay America.
“Yay America.”
yes. but not because of Joe Biden. In spite of him.
Biden is doing what a president should do: Have a vision for a better America and then pursue that vision.
And that’s exactly what he is doing.
The infrastructure proposal is Biden dragging America kicking and screaming into the 21st Century.
China is kicking our ass in a lot of ways and that’s not acceptable.
But the most important thing is the 500,000 EV chargers by 2030.
Biden knows the future is electric and he is going to move America there as fast as he can.
Hey it’s Dennis the Peasant from Monty Python and the Holy Grail!!!!!

Welcome!!!!
Kinda.
“Are you a globalist or nationalist is the more pertinent question.”
It should be more specific, Antonio.
Are you a statist or a populist is the more specific question.
After all, the Declaration of Independence is the greatest populist manifesto ever written. And there are also many Republican politicians whose actions prove them to also be statist-corporatist-fascists, like their Democrat counterparts.
The product of homosexuality, such as Don Lemon’s, is a complete absence of reproduction and extinction – it is terminal.
Homosexuality is the manifestation of a fatal physical defect.
Why does the law abolish the freedom of opinion and the freedom of rationality, and compel Americans to not disparage but respect and honor homosexuality and, as a corollary, its product, extinction?
The first step of freedom is discrimination.
If Americans cannot discriminate, Americans cannot be free.
Understanding that harassment, stalking, assault, battery, rape, mayhem, murder, property damage, etc., are illegal,
People must adapt to the outcomes of freedom.
Freedom does not adapt to people, dictatorship does.

“We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.”
– William Casey, CIA Director 1981-1987
Its almost as if Biden. his corporate lackeys, the leftist media, and the Marxist democrats, live in an alternate reality. A reality in which there is no truth except the truth they make up and repeat faithfully according to the Joseph Goebbels aphorism,” If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.”
Donald Trump told more deliberate lies in a week than Biden has said accidentally or on purpose in his entire life.
There is no comparison. Trump couldn’t open his mouth without twisting the truth, which is why he was voted out after one term and has been stifled on social media.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Wake up and smell the coffee.
The Democrats are seekers of the truth, but you wouldn’t know the truth if it jumped into bed with you.
So the Democrats are “seekers of the truth”. Doesn’t that depend on what your definition of the word “truth” is?
I have no problem recognizing the truth but that doesn’t seem to be the case with 50% of the country.
Au contraire mi amigo
Half the country voted for Trump and if you have an IQ over 120 you have to question the intelligence and/or integrity of anyone who supported that wife-cheating, stripper-shtupping, student-defrauding, charity-stealing, draft-dodging, tax-evading, morally and financilly bankrupt vulgarian.
Trump is a conman who coudn’t con his way out of a pandemic, and he is out of office, thank Odin.
He is such an obvious fraud, but half the country couldn’t see that and still can’t.
Ergo: Half the country have their heads up their okole.
@benjamin michael marcus
So you are saying if you voted from Trump, you are either stupid or evil, right?
Didn’t think leftists accepted the validity of IQ testing since their preferred pets (i.e. blacks) tend to score on the left end of the bell curve with an average of 87.
Did I misunderstand? Please explain this discrepancy.
antonio
More stupid than evil.
And which screwed up Latin American country do you come from?
Says the infidel with the limp dick who couldnt satisfy a woman if she begged him
Stay classy, you dumb prole.
Do you talk to Child Protective Services and your bankruptcy attorney with that mouth?
You better get home to the doublewide and do those dirty dishes in the kitchen sink so your wives and children will have a place to s#$$!
“ Mrs Benjamin Michael Marcus says: April 6, 2021 at 3:37 PM
Says the infidel with the limp dick who couldnt satisfy a woman if she begged him”
😀
@benjamin michael marcus
You keep insulting Mongols and now Hispanics and you are going to lose your “good white” card.
Actually I know my IQ and possess several degrees, so guess I am in the “evil” category.
antonio
I know people with PhDs who can barely tie their shoes.
You’re either intelligent of you’re not.
If you support Trump or the current Republican party, your sense of justice and integrity are questionable.
Republicans screw it up. Democrats clean it up.
Stupid and gullible, maybe. Not necessarily evil, but definitely stupid.
“The bluest of blue counties along the river, Zapata County, flipped to President Trump, who won 52.5 percent of the vote. It was the first time since Reconstruction that a Republican presidential candidate won Zapata County.
Zapata and Starr counties are tiny communities that may never sway an election. But the story of Trump’s performance and Biden’s backslide along the Texas border, experts say, shows the importance of cultivating deeper relationships with a diverse Latino population that continues to claim a growing and dominant share of the Texas electorate.”
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/why-texas-s-overwhelmingly-latino-rio-grande-valley-turned-toward-trump/ar-BB1aQRSp
8000 voters in some probably impoverished, might-as-well-be-Mexico county in a secondary state like Texas means what?
Some cartelero probably bought their votes.
Try again.
Trump appeals to suckers with false hopes.
Hoop de do.
Trump voters are a bunch of saps wearing stupid hats riding a Trump Casino bus, thinking he’s going to make them rich.
He’s not, he’s only going to enrich himself.
Trump won by 200 votes in Zapata County.
Means nothing.
Did you see where now Biden is looking at “finishing the wall”?
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2021/apr/5/dhs-may-restart-border-wall-construction-plug-gaps/
That’s not “finishing the wall” that is “plug gaps in the wall.”
Biden was smart to pull the plug on that idiotic, symbolic, hugely expensive waste of time, money and energy.
IT won’t work. Ever.
Dumb.
Trump appeals to those with false hopes and those who have nothing and worship someone who seems to have everything.
Try again.
Nope it’s true. Most of the people I know who support Trump are dumb or greedy or lost or confused.
The smart, rich people I know aren’t Trump supporters.
Not at all.
It’s proles and trolls.
“The smart, rich people I know aren’t Trump supporters.”
Enough said.
Well I’ll take smart, rich people over oblivious proles any day.
“Well I’ll take smart, rich people over oblivious proles any day.”
You do that, sweetheart.
BMM
Your constant refrain: “But Trump…” is repetitive, unthinking, and unconvincing.
Suggest rational analysis.
Difficult, but rewarding.
Rational analysis = Biden is showing America what true leadership is about.
It’s not parading around in some stupid red hat while hundreds of thousands of Americans died and the economy loses tens of trillions and millions of Americans are on unemployment.
The infrastructure proposal is EXACTLY what America needs to become Great Again.
If Biden misspoke about Georgia, whatever: It’s a fart in a windstorm.
You’re nitpicking and missing a much much much bigger picture.
Biden is fixing to pull an FDR and drag America kicking and screaming into the 21st Century.
The proposal to build 500,000 EV charging stations is EXACTLY what America should be doing.
Because stinkpots are history, and the sooner the better.
But I live in a wealthy part of California where Teslas and chargers are like cockaroaches.
All y’all probably don’t have that advantage, but that’s what is coming.
California is ahead of the curve, always.
What kind of vehicle do you drive?
SONDORS XS Ebike.
Don’t need a car where I live.
When I was in Hawaii I had moped for three years.
What kind of boat did you live aboard?
Again, did you live aboard? How ’bout that sandbar, eh?
Yes lived aboard in the Ala Wai and Kewalo Basin.
Also lived on a sailboat and on a decommissioned USCG Cutter – the Point Harris.
IT got whacked by a flying trimaran during Hurricane Iwa or Iniki or something on Kauai and was decommissioned.
https://coastguardnews.com/a-time-to-prepare-lessons-from-hurricane-iniki/2019/08/04/
The guy who owned it turned it into a floating junkyard and I called it The USCG Tetanus.
He kept sayin he was going to hook up behind a barge headed for the mainland and make it to Seattle.
I thought that was a bad idea but he tried it.
Got 30 miles off Kaneohe and sank and the Coasties had to save him with the helicopter.
I felt bad for him. That was his home.
I wonder where he is now.
We do not see eye to eye politically, but I get good vibes from you Benji. I read energy and yours is pretty good vibes. Work on your politics and you will raise your vibrations. 😉
My politics are accurate and correct but then I live in California surrounded by wealth and privilege so that has swayed me toward the Democrat side.
I made Nancy Pelosi a crossword puzzle for her 80th Birthday.
And in 1978 I shook hands with Governor Brown while whacked on mescaline.
Oh and you met Kaneohe Sandbar.
i never went out there but I’ve seen it.
That side is nice.
“My politics are accurate and correct but then I live in California surrounded by wealth and privilege so that has swayed me toward the Democrat side.”
Take the Red pill, Benji. We are all here for you. 😉
The Red Pill leads to bankruptcy, stupidity and death. Nothankyou.
The Blue Pill leads to prosperity, wisdom and a better future.
There was a time when the Republicans were greedy and self righteous but at least they made the trains run on time.
Not any more. They are incompetent.
Look at the messes left behind by Schwarzenegger, Bush43 and now Trump.
Disasters. All of them.
They don’t know what they are doing. At all.
Republicans screw it up. Democrats clean it up.
Which sandbar?
Kewalo or Ala Wai?
The most amazing thing I saw was two Trans Pacs ago.
The Pacific was going berserk and there was a super tech hydrofoil trimaran called Lending Club.
They were going to wait in the Trans Pac but liked what they saw and left early,
They went Long Beach to Honolulu in 90 hours.
Think about that for a minute.
If you had a motorcycle that could go on the ocean, you couldn’t do it that fast.
And then there were these English girls who rowed from San Francisco to Honolulu and were headed for Samoa and then Australia.
I told them: “Yeah I love the ocean too, but maybe not that much.”
Funny stories. Crazy what some people feel called to do.
And yeah I was talking about the Kanehoe Bay Sandar. But I guess that was a ways from Honolulu harbour.
There’s the Point Harris sinking.
https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/story/36221409/coast-guard-rescues-2-from-sinking-ship-off-kaneohe/
I felt bad for the owner.
He was a little cuckoo as many boat people are, but that was his home and hit went to the bottom.
I wonder where he ended up.
Are you referring to the exodus from CA?
Heaven help us if you want that for the country.
Don’t know you, but the word “supercilious” comes to mind.
If there is an exodus from California, they aren’t exodizing fast enough.
The population of California has increased 1100 people a day – every day – for the last 60 years.
If only we could reverse that.
The rate of increase has slowed, but the population continues to increase.
There is a reason 1/8th the population of the entire country lives in one state, and that is also the reason California has power outages, water shortages, high cost of living, high taxes and homelessness.
And that’s also the reason California has a GDP of $3.3 trillion which makes it the fifth largest economy in the world.
And yes, the rest of the country wants to be as innovative, progressive, productive and prosperous as California, but they don’t know how to go about it.
So they elect conmen like Trump who just make a mess of everything.
California looks at the rest of the country the way Norway and Switzerland look at the rest of Europe: “Poor dumb saps. Better them than us.”
You just stay in your sad, impoverished, hands-out Red State and all will be well.
GDP of Colorado = $353.08 billion
GDP of California – $3.3 trillion.
Gross Federal tax collections for California for 2019: $472,027,235
So the Golden State paid $100,000,000 more in Federal taxes than the 𝑬𝑵𝑻𝑰𝑹𝑬 𝑮𝑫𝑷 of the Mass Shooting State.
Swell.
“Rational analysis = Biden is showing America what true leadership is about.”
It was Barack Obama who said “Don’t underestimate Joe’s abililty to F things up.”
It was Barack Obama who said about his own VP: “The one person who doesn’t have ‘it’ is Joe Biden.”
Doesn’t exactly instill confidence, does it?
Ol’ Joe isn’t driving the bus. Who is?
Joe is the frontman but he has a team of first rate, smart professionals behind him.
Not a bunch of lackeys and yes men who let Trump screw the pooch.
It’s all being fixed right now.
“Joe is the frontman but he has a team of first rate, smart professionals behind him.”
OMG please I can’t breathe. Did you watch the summit in Alaska where the Chinese diplomat took 20 minutes and wiped the floor with Tony Blinken (the very amateur guitar player) who “Joe Biden” installed as chief diplomat? It was pitiful. It was P.A.I.N.F.U.L.
I can’t stop laughing. OMG OMG OMG. Go on with your delusional self.
China broke all the protocol rules and Blinken stood up to it okay.
Although the elephant in the room was the Coronavirus launched by a bunch of bat-eaters in Wuhan and the tremendous amount of death and economic destruction it has caused.
Why didn’t Blinken bring that up and demand worldwide reperations from China?
Trump didn’t do it either.
Blinken did fine. He played by the rules. China didn’t.
Chuck Fina. It’s a grotesquely overpopulated country desperate to feed 1.4 billion people every day and doing enormous damage to the planet.
America and China are almost exactly the same size – 3.7 million square miles – but imagine if America had 1.1 billion more people.
Would that work?
Nope.
Chuck Fina.
Blinken did fine because China didn’t play fair.
“China broke all the protocol rules and Blinken stood up to it okay.”
No, he did not. He sat there and took it like a fool. A weak fool.
“Blinken did fine. He played by the rules. China didn’t.”
Exactly. And yet, Tony the “very amateur guitar player” sat there and politely took it, and he let them insult and disparage the United States to his face on American soil.
Do you think Tony Blinken sent a message to China?
You bet he did.
Pretty good account of it here.
https://www.brookings.edu/blog/order-from-chaos/2021/03/22/the-us-and-china-finally-get-real-with-each-other/
Blinken didn’t take any crap from the Chinese and counterpunched nicely.
In fact, the Chinese got pissed because Blinken’s opening remarks were sharp and aggressive.
Blinken said his two minutes and then the Chinese broke all the rules and went off for 15 minutes.
So who lost their cool? Wasn’t Blinken.
Blinken was hardly concilliatory and sent them a sharp message: “We aren’t taking any of your BS.”
He should have said: “Do you like your cars? Electricity? Computers? Airplanes? Where did all of that come from? If it wasn’t for America, China would have a bowl of rice and a brass gong and that’s about it.”
Although he should have called them on the Wuhan Virus and the enormous damage it did.
Why didn’t he? Why was that off limits?
Blinken was polite and didn’t blow his cool.
Good for him.
He could have let China have it over Wuhan Virus or Tibet or Taiwan or a lot of things, but he didn’t and he let the Chinese embarrass themselves by prattling on.
His words were firm enough. Read them. He didn’t pull punches and he sure as shit didn’t back down to China.
‘The story of the Biden administration to date has been all about Joe Biden slowly, painfully learning that Donald Trump was right about everything important, plus Biden’s clumsy efforts to take credit for things Trump did.’ ~john hayward
Who is John Hayward and why would anyone care what he thinks?
He’s a Pom who writes for Breitbart = a double negative.
And no, Trump was wrong about everything: The wall, the lack of response to Coronavirus, lying about election results, inciting a riot.
Which is why he was voted out after one term.
You really have to be a screwup to get voted out after one term.
Trump was right about Making America Great Again but all he did was parade around in a stupid red hat and spout a bunch of BS to the roar of the crowd.
The $2 trillion infrastructure proposal is MAGA = 500,000 EV chargers by 2030, etc.
Biden is showing true leadership: He has a vision and is dragging America into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming.
And he’s right.
I sent this email below to the Secretary of Energy, proposing a solution to installing some of those 500,000 EV chargers.
Jennifer Granholm
Secretary of Energy
Washington DC
4-4-21
Madame Secretary
Hello from the Malibu, where there are probably more Teslas and chargers per capita than just about anywhere else.
I have pestered everyone from the editors of Wired to Gavin Newsom and President Biden with an idea that you might consider.
Since Biden is calling for 500,000 EV charging stations across the country by 2030 how about converting 20th Century drive in theaters with 21st Century technology and turn them into electric car charging stations?
Both existing theaters still operating, and bringing others back from the dead – like the Skyview in my hometown of Santa Cruz (RIP)
Looking around California there are operating drive in theaters in San Jose, Paramount, Barstow, San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria and other locations that are perfect: In the middle of population density but close to major highways and equidistant between Las Vegas and Los Angeles, or Los Angeles and Silicon Valley.
Or how about the Ford (!) Drive In Theater in Dearborn, Michigan: https://www.forddrivein.com/
Location, location, location.
The spaces and some of the infrastructure are already there.
Put as many chargers in there as are thought necessary based on demand.
Although I am pretty sure that ICE stinkpots are going the way of the dodo and America will be all electric sooner than we know.
Citizens pay to charge by the day and are on their way.
Or charge by night under the moonlight while they watch a 2 – 3 hour movie.
Groovy!
Would be cool to bring back drive in theaters. They were fun when I was a kid.
And I believe there’s gonna be billions of dollars eagerly made available for the conversions?
Save the American family while saving the planet.
Just a thought.
Congratulations on your new position.
Interesting times.
Ben
Whether “President” Biden misspoke or not, the great thing about being a leftist and having the MSM in the tank is he will never have to issue a retraction. This great man is in the vanguard of fighting evil, systematic racism and must be given as much leeway as possible.
Being a leftist means never having to say you are sorry!
And whether we realize it or not, our moral bettors are part of something larger than themselves and the end result will be heaven on earth. If only people like us deplorables would just die out or go away…
antonio
“moral betters” It is proper spelling and grammar that distinguish us from the Mongol races.
And yes it would be nice if all the ignorant deplorables would piss off and shut up, but at least we don’t have to listen to the BS and blather from their dopey leader anymore.
And yes it would be nice if all the ignorant deplorables would piss off and shut up, but at least we don’t have to listen to the BS and blather from their dopey leader anymore.
You need the “deplorables” to piss off and shut up, but that isn’t happening, and it won’t happen. We’re onto the Leftist’s strategy and so is Trump. He’s not going anywhere either.
Trump succeeded because his rhetoric intuitively rubs up against the very attack narratives the Left uses to co-opt establishment Republicans. The unanticipated success of his brute force attacks positions him as an existential threat that forces the Left into an openly aggressive posture prematurely. Deploying ahead of a proper “correlation of forces” alignment suggests an unexpected sense of vulnerability by the Left that can be exploited if understood. The Left is America’s original “civilizational jihad”. It should not go uncommented that the Left and the Islamic Movement converge at the fault-line candidate
Trump exposed that many Americans are rising to defend. It is the faultline that is being defended even as many struggle to articulate why.
https://unconstrainedanalytics.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Unconstrained-Analytics-Left-Strategy-Tactics-231120.pdf
Trump exposed the sad fact that half of America are dumb as a box of rocks.
50% of America had their ideal wife-cheating, stripper-shtupping, student-defrauding, charity-stealing, money-grubbing, tax-evading vulgar charlatan of a president for four years and he made a predictable hash of it: Economic, humanitarian and constitutional disaster.
Trump walked around with his stupid hat and barked about Making America Great Again but what did he actually accomplish?
Nothing. The country went backward.
Republicans screw it up. Democrats clean it up.
Biden’s infrastructure proposal is putting his money where his MAGA is: Two trillion dollars to drag America kicking and screaming into the 21st Century.
After four years of ineffective BS and blather and a stunning lack of leadership, Biden is here to save the day.
So shaddap already.
You had your president. You had your shot. You failed. Completely.
So shaddap already.
LOL! Nope, not happening.
Benjamin, wasn’t sure what you were going for on your first couple of posts. But now I get the humor. Your a funny guy! Keep it up.
There’s nothing funny about what Trump allowed to happen to the United States or the people who blindly supported him.
He’s a complete screwup and everything he touches turns to crap.
Thank Odin he is gone and stifled and back to cheating at golf and shtupping sad strippers.
That’s the Silver Lining in Coronavirus – it swept Trump from office so he can’t damage the country any further.
See what Biden is doing with the infrastructure proposal?
That’s MAGA.
Trump just ran around wearing a stupid red hat but he didn’t attempt or further anything.
Biden is a true leader who is dragging America kicking and screaming into the 21st Century.
My friend who go to Asia say China is The Jetsons and America is the Flintstones.
Biden wants to level the playing field.
That’s leadership. That’s MAGA.
Trump got 4 Middle East peace deals that were supposed to be impossible, no new wars, invested more in Historically Black Colleges than any other president, including Obama, signed criminal reform laws, signed laws against animal cruelty. That’s just a few of his accomplishments.
Democrats like Obama get nominated for Nobel Peace Prizes because of their skin color. Trump was nominated for actually bringing peace to the Middle East, but he won’t actually get awarded it because he’s a conservative. Biden’s efforts to empower Iran’s nuclear ambitions will unwind that peace in short order.
Honestly, comments like yours show you didn’t take 5 minutes of research to actually find out if Trump did anything you agreed with.
“Trump exposed the sad fact that half of America are dumb as a box of rocks.”
Dumb as a box of rocks? I realize I misspell sometimes but English is not my first language. Have a professional license in several jurisdictions, surely I get brownie points for that.
You should be glad to be rid of us then, agreed? Where do we sign to secede?
And you leftists believe Trump was the beginning and end. Wait until a leader comes along with real political skills…he was only the beginning.
antonio
So what else do you propose to do with us ignorant deplorables?? You and your ilk already seeks to deplatform, doxx and destroy anyone slightly to the right of Mitt Romney.
“Mongol races” – do you mean people from Mongolia? And are you talking about people from Inner Mongolia, which is part of the People’s Republic of China or the nation of Mongolia which is sandwiched between China and the Russian Federation?
Please clarify to both.
antonio
Benny MM at 2:06, don’t you understand that the use of the term “Deplorables” had a lot to do with Hillary losing the 2016 election. Maybe laws against gun ownership would keep you from shooting yourself in the foot. Sorry everyone, I should have left Benny to his own destruction. It won’t matter. He won’t get it any way.
Yeah Hillary screwed the pooch when she said “deplorables” but there was no way she was getting elected anyway.
And all you have to do is watch video of the Capitol riot to see who the deplorables are: ignorant, easily-lead mullet heads.
Or there’s this, from the Waco Kid. He knew what’s up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZvT2r828QY
Facts? We ain’t got no facts! We don’t need no facts! I don’t have to show you any stinking facts!
Off topic: Professor Turley, your thoughts on Justice Thomas’ comments on Big Tech in ON PETITION FOR WRIT OF CERTIORARI TO THE UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE SECOND CIRCUIT No. 20–197. Decided April 5, 2021 would be appreciated. Thank you.
Lemon AIDS
And we’ll get the likes of Natacha, Svelez, Molly G. to prove once again that they are as Bezmenov stated, demoralized and beyond repair.
Marxism-Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of at least three generation of American students without being challenged or counterbalanced by the basic values of Americanism; American patriotism….
The result? The result you can see … the people who graduated in the 60’s, dropouts or half-baked intellectuals, are now occupying the positions of power in the government, civil service, business, mass media, and educational systems. You are stuck with them. You can’t get through to them. They are contaminated. They are programmed to think and react to certain stimuli in a certain pattern [alluding to Pavlov]. You cannot change their mind even if you expose them to authentic information. Even if you prove that white is white and black is black, you still can not change the basic perception and the logic of behavior.
In other words [for] these people the process of demoralization is complete and irreversible. To rid society of these people you need another 15 or 20 years to educate a new generation of patriotically minded and common sense people who would be acting in favor and in the interests of United States society.
So CNN learned how to disregard the truth from Fox and the Trump administration.
Turnabout is fair play.
WOW! a two-fer. Turley gets to take shots at Biden and Don Lemon.
I didn’t read this post. I don’t need to. Turley is a paid partisan hack, but the fact remains, Biden and Lemon don’t have enough years of life left to catch up with the lies told by Trump and Fox News. Until then, there’s nothing to say.
Bless your heart, Natacha. Anyone defending Lemon defending Bydein is to be pitied.
@natacha
“I didn’t read this post. I don’t need to.”
Besides possessing moral superiority, I thought leftists were gifted with super intelligence and reasoning skills. Should be easy for someone such as yourself to read, analyze and demolish.
Oh, wait, I get it. Not only is Turley a “paid, partisan hack” but also likely a “white supremacist” And we know that good leftists do not engage or debate such people. Name and shaming is sufficient.
Natasha is reliably opinionated and wrong.
Now, she has added “stupid ” to the label.
Don Lemon is not a principled person and he has proved that over and over again.
Mr. Lemon is a liar.
Many people apparently (see Mr. Lemon’s following) like being lied to.
When someone chooses to be venal (Lemon), or knowingly chooses to be duped (his audience), there is nothing to be done.
Just ignore them and recognize what drives them.
Take Natasha or Molly G on this blog.
They wilfully ignore the truth and propagate lies. They are irredeemable.
Monument, I appreciate your comment. I love this site, I really respect and enjoy Jonathon Turley and I am grateful for his excellent site. My only issue with this site is some of the people commenting and their complete ugliness and nastiness towards the host and the site itself. You hate Turley…go somewhere else. If you have a logical disagreement, fine, but hating the site and continuing to come here to troll is just dumb.
Everyone at CNN is still doing the Trondheim Hammer Dance because Trump lost and they no longer have to deal with his BS.
Trump told more deliberate lies in a week than Biden will tell in his entire life.
And whatever Biden said about Georgia’s voting laws, MLB agreed very quickly, which is kind of a surprise.
Who made that decision? Did all the owners have a vote?
This country is making sense again.
“I’ll substantiate the rumors that his name was Herbert Hoover..
And he killed two kennedy’s and king.
So don’t blame Oswald or don’t blame James Earl Ray…..
Cause when you go down south…
And open your mouth,. You have Trump turds to look at!”
Aren’t you a real POS
Who are you referring to? Liberty2nd?
The only thing CNN knows about facts is how to spell it.
Spelling, math and being on time are social constructs designed to oppress marginalized people of color. LOL!
It is proper spelling and grammar that distinguish us from the Mongol races.
And most of you right wing dingalings wouldn’t know the truth if it jumped into bed with you.
Benjamin, it is very impressive that you know the difference between someone who places a wager and someone who represents the “Woke” elite. Obviously you are among the latter. Your vitriol however, makes me think you should check the dosage on your meds. It is a little bizarre that your response to an article about Joe Biden doubling down on a lie is to attack Trump supporters.
If Biden is bending the truth a bit, he learned that tactic from Trump.
And it’s still true that Trump told more deliberate lies in a week than Biden has said accidentally or on purpose in his entire life.
And I am hipsterallergenic so I despise the word “woke” along with “libtard” and “curated” and “artisinal” and a lot of ther 21st Century newspeak.
I believe in truth, justice and the American way, all of which went bent to the breaking point by Trump.
Biden is reminding America what leadership is all about.
His infrastructure proposal is the true MAGA – it’s not parading around in a stupid red hat.
Biden is leading America kicking and screaming into the 21st Century.
“Making America California Again.”
Good for him.
You dingalings had your nitwit president for four years and look at the damage he did.
Republicans screw it up. Democrats clean it up.
@benjamin michael marcus
“Making America California Again.”
I am happy for California and fully support their Calexit effort.
You have a wealthy elite around hollywood and silicon valley and a large, growing lumpen proletariat. Largest wealth disparity in the US.
What could possibly go wrong?? They are literally creating a multicult utopia.
antonio
People aren’t Calexiting fast enough.
The population of California has increased 1100 people a day – every day – for the last 60 years.
If we could reverse that and drain off 1100 people a day – every day – for the next 30 years, that would be great.
Bleed off a couple million people and Make California Great Again.
And the vast majority of Calfornians are middle class.
This isn’t Rio de Janiero.
California remains the most progressive, most productive and most prosperous state in the union.
14% of Californians have an income over $200,000
27% of Californians have an income of $100,000 – $200,000
28% of Californians have an income between $50,000 – $100,000
32% of Californians have an income under $50,000
What’s that spell?
The majority of the people in California are middle class.
Okay, you got me. Your dazzling logic wins the day. Your ability to coin clever words is vastly superior to mine. The fact that you drive several Teslas is not at all boastful. Joe Biden exclaiming “I have no idea what I am signing” while signing a stack of executive orders is evidence of superlative leadership abilities. Attempting to spend 6 trillion dollars in his first 90 days in office will most certainly NOT lead to hyper-inflation. Raising corporate taxes will not cost jobs. Making gasoline prices double will not harm low income people. Can I please just concede the argument now. One question, though. Have you spoken to your psychotherapist about your obsession with red hats? Hugs and kisses
Benji says “If Biden is bending the truth a bit, he learned that tactic from Trump.”
Other way around. Biden’s been lying since he got into politics nearly 50 years ago. And he still lying today. It’s all he knows. But he talks jive to voters like “Not joking, I will ALWAYS tell you the truth.”
haha sure thing Joe. You lie like a rug.
I’m pretty sure CNN depends upon the use of “facks” rather than “facts” to support their positions. There is no evidence that they can, indeed, spell “facts”.
Arthur, is your assertion correct or is it a testimonial to the efficacy of spell checkers?
